    Maintenance Service

    I had a terrible experience with this company. It was like a never-ending nightmare trying to use their online portal for information. Their team barely communicated with me - I waited weeks for unanswered emails and forget about trying to talk to someone on the phone. It feels like they make it intentionally hard to reach them. The worst part was how they were dishonest about maintenance requests. I paid for a service that never happened, and they just kept coming up with excuses. They clearly don't care about their customers' time or money. Overall, it was a complete nightmare dealing with them.

    Moving into my new rental home

    You guys, Belong Home is hands down the worst company ever. I was so excited to move into a nice place, but boy was I wrong. From the moment I got the keys, it was one disaster after another. The house was a total mess - bugs everywhere, toilets not working, dishwasher was installed all wrong, and there was a random slab of granite in the garage. It was like a nightmare. And let me tell you about the lack of communication - Belong Home totally ghosted us multiple times, it's ridiculous. And don't even get me started on how they lied to the owner about us. It's just all bad. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this place, trust me.

    Dishwasher repair gone wrong

    I had a really bad time dealing with that company. Their workers were totally unprofessional, they were always showing up late, and they actually ended up making things worse instead of fixing anything. The original problem should have only cost $300 to fix, but after several unsuccessful tries, I'm now looking at a bill for over $3000 in damages. It's been 3 months and they still haven't managed to sort out the issue.

Even after trying multiple times to set up an inspection, Belong was slow to respond.

    APPLICANTS BEWARE!
    Belong has been the worst, most unorganized and unresponsive company to deal with. We toured a home on Friday 11/17 (we were the first people to tour since it was a new listing) and ran home to complete the application a hour later. We were told applications would be screened and considered in the order they were received. The payment screen was having issues, we tried a combined 9 times over the course of 3 days. A live chat agent confirmed that our application was received, but no payment yet and he requested someone to reach out to me. Monday morning rolls around and I see one of my payments was processed. Great, I sent a 5th follow up email to the representative who followed up after the tour, Marie, asking where we are in the process and if everything looks good on their end. No response still. I went to live chat, and a representative told us our payments were received and process and applications were complete and that Marie would be following up ASAP. By Tuesday morning I see my card was actually charged 3 times and we still haven’t heard anything so I follow up again. No response. Finally my partner gets an email from Vincent saying that our applications were incomplete due to missing photos of our ID’s and a lease has been sent out to another party.

    The application does not ask you to upload an ID (go through the process and look for yourself). We were told multiple times that our applications were received, paid and to sit tight and wait for a follow up. I emailed a total of 6 times without receiving a response from anyone, called a countless number of times (none of which were answered) and have live chatted with someone every single day since submitting our application, someone should’ve told us our application was “incomplete”. As someone with a property management background, this has been an incredibly frustrating and upsetting experience and I would NEVER recommend renting with Belong Home. If this is how disorganized and non-communicative they are just in the application process, I can’t imagine actually being a tenant. Belong Home, do better and reevaluate your business practices and perhaps hire people to actually respond to those trying to give you money and apply for your homes. And refund me the 4 application fees you charged my card for.

    My experience with the property management company has been a total disaster. Ever since I handed over my property, it's been a nightmare. The unit was left in terrible condition, and the company did nothing to fix it. Their customer service is awful - they ignore requests, give false information, and waste my time. I would advise anyone thinking of using this company to stay away, they'll just let you down and add to your stress.
