I've gotta say, my experience as a customer of Houzz was great when it came to sales and customer service. But here's the thing - when I tried to leave a review for one of their vendor/contractors, I hit a snag. Even though I provided solid evidence of a lawsuit against the contractor and a judgment in my favor, their customer service team blocked my review. They said it had too much "opinion," but I made sure to stick to the facts. It was pretty disappointing that Houzz wouldn't let me share my honest experience with their vendor/contractor.
Home decor items
I gotta say, being a customer at Houzz, I was really impressed with their selection of home decor items. The quality is top-notch. I was happy to see so many options to choose from, which made it super easy to find exactly what I needed to upgrade my space. The only hiccup I ran into was with coordinating delivery to two different locations. It would be really helpful if there was a more advanced delivery option that allowed customers to choose different delivery preferences for each item, especially for larger pieces.
Ottoman purchase
Watch out when ordering the Yolanda Upholstered ottoman because the dimensions on the diagram are all wrong. The width is really 24 inches, not 16 like it shows. Luckily, I saw this mistake before I made the order, all thanks to paying close attention. My husband talked me into going forward with the purchase, and I'm so glad I did. Plus, getting swatches of the fabric made it easy to find the perfect match for my carpet. I seriously adore the ottoman!
Living room furniture
The stuff they have on Houzz is amazing. I found just what I needed for my extra living room. They offer so many choices and styles on the site, it's crazy. Plus, the ideas and inspiration they share really got me excited to splurge. Now I'm just counting down the days until my new furniture gets here. I'm super happy with how easy it was to shop on Houzz.
Bar stool purchase
I found the perfect bar stool that goes so well with my table! It didn't take long to find one that matched just right - the height, width, and style all worked out perfectly. Plus, the price was just right!
Rug purchase
I'm bumping my review up to five stars because of the awesome customer service I got. I had a problem with a rug I bought, but the customer service rep was super patient and helped me out until we got it fixed. We were in touch every day until we finally got it sorted out. It was a bit of a process, but with some effort and patience, the customer service team really pulled through and I ended up getting a full refund from the seller.
Greenhouse purchase
I just bought a greenhouse, and I'm pretty happy with it. It's good enough that I might get another one. The only bummer was that I thought I could use a $25 discount, but turns out I had to buy four more greenhouses to get it. I just don't have the space for that many, so it didn't work out for me.
