The Ultimate Road Trip Planning Destination

I have been a frequent user of Roadtrippers.com for several years now and I must say, I am thoroughly impressed with their service. The website is incredibly user-friendly and easy to navigate. I am able to find exactly what I am looking for, whether it be a specific destination or just looking for inspiration for my next road trip.

One of the things I love most about Roadtrippers.com is their extensive database of places to visit. From national parks to quirky roadside attractions, they have it all. And, if I ever have trouble finding a particular place, their customer service team is always quick to respond and help me out.

Another great feature is the ability to plan my trip and save it for later. This has come in handy on many occasions, as I am able to easily pick up where I left off and make any necessary adjustments to my itinerary.

Overall, I highly recommend Roadtrippers.com to anyone planning a road trip. They have made the planning process so much easier and enjoyable for me.

    USA Road Trip Planning Tool

Roadtrippers is a great tool for anyone heading out on a road trip across the United States. The planning tools they offer are super helpful in finding cool and interesting stops along your journey that you might have missed otherwise. Just keep in mind that Roadtrippers is best for trips within the USA – trying to plan a trip outside the country might lead to some frustrations due to its US-focused approach.

Some people might think claiming to be the #1 road trip planning tool in the world is a stretch, but Roadtrippers really does stand out when it comes to finding awesome destinations and attractions in the US.

As for the free version of Roadtrippers, it's good to keep your expectations in check. The free version gives you a taste of what you can get with a paid subscription, which is a reasonable $29 for a year. If you're planning a road trip in the US, investing in a subscription is totally worth it for the extra planning features and resources you'll get.

    Trip planning app

I absolutely love road trips, and let me tell you, this trip planning app has been a total game-changer for me. The "plan my trip" feature is just amazing - it helped me map out a detailed itinerary without any stress. I just plugged in where I was starting from and where I wanted to go, and the app did all the work, giving me the best route with suggested stops and attractions. It made planning my trip so easy and saved me a ton of time. If you're thinking about hitting the road, I highly suggest checking out this app for planning your perfect road trip.

    Map app design feedback

The map app really needs to get their act together when it comes to placing those interstate highway symbols. I've been in the GIS field for more than twenty years, and it's really annoying to see such a simple mistake. The symbols should definitely be on top of the roads, not buried underneath them. I hope the developers actually listen to this feedback and make the changes needed. Oh, and in case anyone's curious, I spotted this problem while using my trusty Apple iPad.

    Subscription renewal scam

Roadtrippers really rubbed me the wrong way. I tried out their app for a road trip once, then totally forgot about it. Fast forward a year later, and I see a $35.99 charge on my card for a subscription renewal I never even wanted in the first place. When I reached out to them about it, all I got back were those canned, cookie-cutter responses that didn't do a darn thing to help me out. And I'm not alone - just look at all the one-star reviews saying the exact same thing. Seriously, don't even bother with Roadtrippers. They're nothing but a bunch of scammers taking advantage of folks like us. I won't stop spreading the word about how shady and unethical they are in their business practices.

    Overpriced subscription

I wouldn't recommend spending your money on this expensive subscription. The features just don't justify the cost, so you're better off using Google Maps for free. I forgot to cancel my trial in time, and when I asked for a refund for being only one day late, they said no. Trust me, it's not worth the hassle - steer clear of this company.

    Unexpected renewal charge

I'm really disappointed with how this service treated me. They went ahead and renewed my account without even giving me a heads up, and then when I tried to get my money back, they flat out refused. That's just not right when you're dealing with customers. On top of that, I found out they were ignoring complaints from the Better Business Bureau, which is totally unacceptable. I recommend checking out reviews on Trustpilot and doing some research before diving in with this company.

    7 stops limitation

The idea behind Roadtrippers is awesome, but the free version kinda stinks with only 7 stops max. Trying to plan a road trip with that small limit is a major bummer and totally takes away from the whole point of using the site. It used to be super handy, but now it seems like it's more focused on raking in cash than actually helping us map out our trips smoothly. I get that they need to make money, but this is just way too limiting.

False advertising - free trial scam

I can't believe how bold this company is! They hook you in with a supposed "free" 7-day trial, but then they go and charge your credit card right away without letting you know. When I asked for a refund, they just said no and pointed to some tiny wording that I must have missed. It's such a rip-off! I feel totally used and won't ever rely on this company again.

    Annual basic account upgrade

I suggest avoiding the annual basic account from this company. I paid $30.00 thinking it was a good deal, but then my trip got locked after hours of planning. They wanted me to pay more to upgrade before releasing my trip. Why would I want to give them more money after they treated me so poorly? Plus, there's no product satisfaction guarantee, so if you're unhappy, you won't get a refund. Be careful, this company doesn't care about customer satisfaction.

    Weekend trip trial

I was really bummed out by my experience with the free trial for a weekend trip on this platform. The website was a pain to use, and the info I got was all wrong and out of date. Planning my trip was so frustrating, and when I tried to get help from customer service, they were no help and super rude. It was a total waste of time and money, and I wouldn't suggest this platform to anyone who needs a good road trip planning tool.

    Trip Planner Membership

I'm a member of Roadtrippers and I recently had a frustrating experience with their Trip Planner feature. I was trying to plan a trip with several stops, but the free membership only allowed me to add one stop before asking me to upgrade. It was confusing because a "Start Page" suddenly appeared, which actually was a Starller membership offer. Even though they said they wouldn't charge my card, it turns out that by filling out the form, I unintentionally signed up for a $49.95/month membership with Starller. Roadtrippers didn't make it clear that they used Starller for memberships, and this ended up adding unexpected fees to my account. Trying to cancel the membership was tough since the toll-free number provided by Starller wasn't helpful at all. And I couldn't even delete my Roadtrippers account without dealing with Starller first, making the situation even more frustrating. The lack of transparency and the complicated cancellation process left me feeling let down and misled.
