Trim: A decent budgeting app, but nothing extraordinary.
I've been using Trim for a little while now, and overall I'd say it's been a pretty decent experience. The main thing that Trim does is help you negotiate your bills with various companies, like cable providers or internet service providers. I've used it to try and lower my cable bill, and while it wasn't successful, the process was relatively painless and didn't take up too much of my time.
One thing that I appreciate about Trim is that they do a lot of the work for you. You just link your account with the company you're trying to negotiate with, and Trim does the rest. They'll look for promotions or deals that you might qualify for, and then try to negotiate a lower rate for you. They also keep track of your subscriptions and will cancel any that you don't want to keep.
I have to say that I'm impressed with the customer support. Whenever I've had a question or needed help with something, the Trim team has been responsive and helpful. They've always been able to answer my questions and provide the information I need.
All in all, I'd say that Trim is a useful service for anyone looking to save money on their bills. It's not a guarantee that you'll be able to lower your rates, but it's definitely worth a try.
