    Most beautiful and exotic beach stay ever

    Homeaway is a dream service, I say, they have specialization in providing these dream houses you either see in movies or magazines.
    Even there is a budget range you can go for. I have been to so exotic beach house. The days went there with my wife was one of the most memorable. we went for our honeymoon, it is out of the world.
    Waking up next to your beautiful wife, next moment you see the beach at your front, a landscape. They have great collection of such beautiful houses around the world.

    I can't believe this! I thought I had rented this amazing place and already paid for it, but turns out it was already taken by someone else! Such a rip off! And now they're refusing to give me a refund. I'm really mad, this is totally unfair. I just want my money back!

    Vrbo booking experience

    My experience with Vrbo was a real headache. When I first booked a B&B through Vrbo for a trip in May, everything seemed fine, even though I got different reference numbers in emails from both Vrbo and the host. But when I needed to cancel the reservation shortly after booking, that's when things went downhill. Even though Vrbo and the host both confirmed the cancellation, I thought it was all settled. However, in May, I got an email confirming my booking and giving me instructions for my stay, even though I had canceled. Turns out, Vrbo still had my credit card info and charged me for the cancelled booking, putting me over my credit limit and hitting me with a penalty charge. The blame game between Vrbo and the hosts only made things worse. It took 5 days to get a refund, with Vrbo treating it like a new cancellation. It was a stressful and expensive ordeal that left me questioning the security of my personal info with Vrbo.

    Cottage booking issue

    I recently booked a cottage for a weekend getaway, and man, it was a total disaster. The host at the property wouldn't let us in and tried to cancel on us last minute. We reached out to customer service for help, but all they did was send us an email promising a partial refund if we found another place to stay. They didn't even help us find a new spot! And to top it off, the host faced no consequences - the property is still up for booking! How can this company treat its customers so poorly? If you're considering booking with them, seriously reconsider and make sure you've got a backup plan just in case things go wrong.

    Payment issue after hosting

    What a scam! I hosted some guests on this platform, and let me tell you, it's been a total nightmare trying to get my payment. It's been over a week now and still no sign of the money I'm owed. They take money from the guests but then don't pass it on to us hosts. It's completely unacceptable and just downright dishonest. I'm definitely not going to be using this platform ever again!

    My recent stay was a total mess. I had a bunch of problems come up in the 15 days I was there, and it all started on day five. I tried to get some help from customer service, but they were not helpful at all. When I asked about changing my reservation, they told me I'd have to pay again and wouldn't give me a refund for the rest of my stay. That's just not cool, they should care more about making customers happy.

    Reservation scam

    Oh man, let me tell you about this crazy situation I got into last year. So, I found this amazing vacation rental in Hawaii in an ad, right? I talked to the owner, booked it, all seemed good. To save some cash, I went ahead and did the whole deal myself – signed a contract, made an online payment through my vacation rental account. Saw the dates were set on my account, so I thought, "Cool, we're all set." Fast forward to when my fam and I, including my 5-month-old baby, got to Hawaii, and guess what? Total radio silence from the owner. Turns out we got scammed, big time.

    So, I contacted the vacation rental company, showed them all the proof and filed complaints. They were like, "Don't worry, we'll give you a voucher for the 11,000 euros you lost." But here we are a year later, and still nothing, no voucher, despite me bugging them about it. They keep asking for a screenshot of the voucher promise, but I can't find it anywhere on my account. It's ridiculous, especially since they had that reserved status and booking number on their listing. I never got my money back, no voucher, nothing. My lawyer is pushing me to take legal action against them, and honestly, I'm considering it. What a mess, right? Can you believe how shady some people can be?

    Misleading property listing

    This company is a complete scam. The host straight up lied about the property in Barbados and when I tried to leave and get my money back, she said no way. The host even changed the listing to try and hide their lies. I called customer service several times, but they couldn't do anything and didn't address the deceitful listing. It's obvious this company is all about taking advantage and only cares about raking in money from guests without taking any responsibility. The fact that VRBO did nothing about it is just awful and I don't believe things will improve. I suggest avoiding this shady company altogether.

    Reservation dispute

    So, I had this problem with a reservation I booked online. I needed to change it during the free cancellation period. The host refunded me for the nights I changed, but they didn't adjust the taxes and fees. Because of that, I got hit with an extra $600 in charges, which I think is not fair. I tried contacting customer service several times, but I still haven't gotten a good solution.

    Tax exempt reimbursement issue

    I just wanted to share that I booked a stay through this rental platform and ran into a big problem trying to get reimbursed for the tax exemption I should've gotten. I gave them all the paperwork they needed, but they're taking forever to issue my refund. It's pretty annoying and honestly not cool, especially when Airbnb, their competition, does it quickly and smoothly. I deserve better customer service and for them to follow the rules.

    Inaccurate Pricing Search

    The search function on the website isn't very accurate when it comes to showing the total cost of rentals. When you first see the price it doesn't include extra fees like host fees and cleaning fees, so customers end up surprised by the final amount. And the refundable deposit policy can cause disagreements and be a hassle for people renting the space.
