Property manager
My husband & I thought we had picked the right property management company, woe unto us. We thought the manager we got from All Property Management would be co-operative & hardworking. He would do quarterly walkthroughs and ensure the building was well maintained. Turns out it was the opposite. The company is more concerned about renters than homeowners. We were specific that our home should be pet-free, but turns out the manager allowed dog owners in the home. Dogs would defecate and pee on the lawn and the renters failed to pick their dog piles. In addition, our landscaper had to keep on asking them to leave the sprinklers on so the grass won't be affected by lack of water. We decided to depart from this company because their managers won't have your back as a homeowner and fail on pet protection.
Rental property management
I recently started working with this amazing property management company for my rental property! I've had some not-so-great experiences with other companies before, but Marchant has really been a game-changer. They're extremely professional, always quick to respond, and just a pleasure to work with. And their website is awesome and really user-friendly. I can't recommend them highly enough. Thanks, Marchant, for simplifying my life so much!
Home rental in Vernon Hills, Illinois
I just moved into a new place in Vernon Hills, Illinois not too long ago, and it's being managed by a real estate company. The house is gorgeous and whenever there's something that needs fixing, the property manager is on it right away. I'd definitely suggest this property manager to anyone who's searching for a new place to rent in the area. Amari and Carin at the front office were especially awesome to deal with.
Property manager search
I highly recommend All Property Management for anyone looking for a property manager. Their website was super easy to use, and getting quotes from verified partners was a breeze. I was really impressed with the property managers they hooked me up with, especially Chase Properties. They're doing a great job managing my property, so now I can travel without stressing about it.
Lead Generation Service
I was really let down by the lead generation service I signed up for. I tried to reach out to the leads they gave me, but I couldn't get in touch with any of them. On top of that, a lot of the contact info for the leads was wrong, so I couldn't even try reaching out in other ways. The price would have been worth it if I got some good leads, but unfortunately, that didn't happen. I haven't gotten a single quality lead yet, so it feels like I wasted my money. Maybe it works better in bigger cities, but for me, it's been a total bust.
Property management inquiry
I tried contacting this property management company twice, once in early June and then again in early August. Unfortunately, I never heard back from them except for a request to leave a review. It was really frustrating not to get any info or a call from them. It made me feel like they might not be the best choice for managing my property.
Effective customer service
I am really impressed with the customer service from this company. Their product helps us reach more people, and the customer service is top-notch. Our main contact, Marge, has been amazing. She's always there for us, honest, and goes out of her way to help with any questions or problems we have. Working with this company has been a great experience.
Apartment rental services
They were really fast at getting back to me with all my questions, and they were so accommodating to my needs. The marketing photographer they sent over was just awesome! They really made my old apartment look like a swanky penthouse in Manhattan! I was seriously blown away by their work. I'll definitely be reaching out to them again down the road.
Match-making service
As a property management company, we've found this service to be really useful for connecting property owners and managers. But the range for HOA/COA/APT units is too wide and ends up bringing in a lot of leads that are out of our price range. One thing I'd like to see is more options for designing our APM page.
Decreased conversion rate
I was really optimistic about this company in the beginning, but things went downhill when their business model changed. The leads I was getting weren't exclusive anymore - they were given to a bunch of other companies too. That meant the people I was trying to reach were getting bombarded with calls and messages. It was not only annoying for them, but it made it way harder for me to get noticed. My success rate took a nosedive, and it became way more expensive to get new leads. It's pretty disheartening to see a service that used to be solid go in the wrong direction like this.
Shared leads
The leads I'm getting from this service aren't as good as they used to be. I'm paying a lot for them, but they're also being given to other agents too, so it's harder for me to close the deal. In one case, a lead wanted to talk only to me, but her info got sent to other agents, including the one she was already with. I ended up losing her because the other agent persuaded her to stick with him. It's not fair for what I'm paying.
Property Management Service
I had a horrible experience with the property management company I hired. They totally ignored the damp problem on the outside of the building, even after I tried to report it multiple times. Their communication was terrible, and it felt like they cared more about collecting fees than fixing problems. It's been more than a year now, and the issue is still not resolved, and they can't give me a clear timeline for when it will be fixed. My walls and ceiling inside are getting messed up because of their neglect. I highly recommend staying away from this company.
Lead generation services
The lead generation services from this company are really disappointing. Most of the leads are expensive and don't really go anywhere. It's frustrating trying to get in touch with these leads, only to find that they don't respond or get annoyed with us. On top of that, a lot of the leads aren't even property owners looking for management services, but just regular people looking to rent a place for themselves. It's pretty clear that a good chunk of the leads we get aren't even real, so it feels like a waste of time and money to keep chasing them. The company does offer refunds for bad leads, but the whole process takes a lot of time and is a hassle. From what I've seen, using this service for lead generation just isn't worth it. I'd recommend looking into other ways to advertise and get leads instead.
Requested call from 6 places
Man, I reached out to 6 places asking for a call, and not a single one even bothered to get back to me. Seriously, what's up with that?! I was counting on All Property Management to come through for me, not ignore me completely. If this is how they handle things, count me out. I want nothing to do with them or any of their affiliates. I'm just so let down!
Current property management
I'm not sure if we should stick with our current property manager because we always have issues with the deposit being late. They always schedule it for the 25th of the month, which makes it hard to keep up with.
Experience with the service
We've been pretty let down by the service we've received. They told us we'd get a certain amount of leads each month, but so far we haven't seen any good ones. Out of the four leads we did get, one wasn't really interested, two just wanted rentals, and one person didn't even bother calling us back. The low quality of the leads we've gotten has us thinking twice about sticking with this partnership.
Property management services
As someone who has used property management services, I have to say that my experience has not been great. The communication between the property manager and the Board has been really lacking, with important information often not being shared on time. Follow-up on important issues has been all over the place, making us question how well the property management company is actually doing. There doesn't seem to be a good system in place for keeping track of tasks, and we've had to keep reminding them about past issues for the next meeting. On top of all that, the costs they bill us are not clear at all, making us wonder if we're getting our money's worth.
Searching for property managers
I enjoyed reading the articles, but didn't come across anything new. The "find a property manager" form wasn't helpful because I already knew all the property managers listed. I was really looking for unfiltered ratings of property managers within a 25-mile radius of my zip code. That would have been a lot more useful to me.
