Subscription cancellation issue
I just went through this frustrating situation with my subscription. I didn't get any heads up about a shipment coming my way. It was a pain trying to cancel or reschedule it, especially with my crazy schedule. A reminder before it was sent out would have been a real lifesaver.
One-time purchase of A5 Wagyu Ribeye Steak
I recently splurged on a special treat for my family - A5 Wagyu Ribeye Steak. It was a bit pricey, but let me tell you, the quality of that meat was absolutely worth it. The steak showed up quickly and was packaged really well with dry ice to keep it fresh. When we finally cooked it up and took that first bite, we were blown away by how rich and fatty the flavor was - a true taste of Wagyu beef. It was a delicious meal that left us all feeling happy and satisfied.
Frozen food disaster
I ordered some frozen food and it was a disaster. When my box arrived, there were no ice packs to keep it cold. I was at school, and my boyfriend tried to help by putting everything in the freezer, but it ended up smelling bad and had to be thrown away. I reached out to customer service, but they were not helpful. Nina just kept sending me automated emails with no actual solutions. It was really frustrating and disappointing.
Purchased American Wagyu and seafood
The American Wagyu just wasn't up to par - it was basically just prime meat. And don't get me started on the seafood, especially those scallops. They were so bitter, it felt like they had been doused in chemicals. On top of that, the orders were delivered poorly. They arrived with 3 or 4-day shipping in the heat, so everything was either completely thawed or half-frozen. Overall, I wouldn't suggest this company to anyone.
Subscription issue
I had a terrible experience with this company! They don't even have a phone number for customer service, so you can only reach them through text or email. I never agreed to a monthly service, but they kept charging me like I did. I tried to cancel and reach out for 2 months with no response. In the end, I had to stop payment and block them from my bank account.
Fishy double order
Yeah, so I ordered some fish and it turned into a real disaster, you know what I mean? They accidentally sent me two orders and then double-charged me. And when I tried to get it sorted out, they were super rude about it. Plus, the quality of the food was just disappointing. The fish portions were small and not even a full 8 ounces. And the meat was just average, nothing remarkable. I'd much rather go to my local farmers market and show them some love instead of dealing with these money-hungry scammers.

First order, excellent service
I just made my first order with this company and I have to say, I am really impressed. Ordering was a breeze and I liked that there were lots of choices to pick from. When my package showed up, I was so happy to see how quickly it arrived and how well everything was wrapped up. The meat was all frozen, so you could tell it was fresh, and the cuts were even better than I thought they'd be. I've loved every bite I've had so far and I know for sure that I'll be coming back to order again.
Rotten meat, poor customer service
What a nightmare! I ordered two expensive beef roasts, just to discover that they were both rotten once I defrosted them. The packaging had obvious holes, and when I contacted support, they had the nerve to suggest that the meat was okay to eat because it was "sealed tight in a cardboard box." I mean, really? When has a cardboard box ever kept food safe from going bad? The meat smelled horrible, was discolored inside and out, and had a slimy feel to it. But they still tried to convince me it was fine to eat, and even offered to toss in another one with my next order. Are you serious?
Changed delivery date resulting in unexpected charge
I just had a really annoying thing happen when I tried to change my delivery date. They ended up charging me for an extra order that I didn't even agree to. I've changed my delivery before with no problems, so this caught me off guard. When I tried to fix the mistake by contacting customer service, they were so unhelpful and didn't seem to care at all. I'm pretty upset about this whole situation and I don't think I'd recommend using their services to anyone else after this.
Recent order experience
I've been a loyal customer for years, but I'm really disappointed with the customer service lately. They used to really care about making customers happy and supporting local farms. But my recent experience was a letdown. I was actually out of the country when I tried to cancel my order, and they still delivered it and expected me to figure out what to do with the meat. That lack of communication and consideration for customers is just not right.
Thin portions, varied sizes, and bad quality
I just got some chops delivered and man, let me tell you, I was so let down by what I got. The pieces were super thin, all different sizes and thicknesses, and so fatty. It was my first time trying a meat delivery service and it was not a good one. I ended up cancelling my order and now I'm nervous about giving another vendor a shot. It was just a bummer all around and I wouldn't suggest it to anyone.
Fish bad, Beef okay
The beef is fine, but the fish is just really gross. If you're not good at telling between old fish and fresh fish, then you probably won't even notice. I've ordered twice now, and both times the fish was disgusting. I tried to tell the company about it, but they don't really seem to care. Always use AMEX when you order, they've got your back and will give you a refund for anything bad. I'm really not happy with Crowd Cow overall.
Recent purchases
I bought a few things from this company recently and I'm kinda torn about it. Gotta say, the prices are a bit high and the portions are pretty small, even for me and I'm not a big eater. What really bummed me out was how the lamb chops from New Zealand were packaged. They were just shoved into a flimsy plastic bag and ended up getting freezer burns. I also had some worries about the freshness of the lobster tails in my second order. On the bright side, customer service was good and it was cool that I could make one-time purchases without being pushed into a subscription.
Last boxes rancid
The meat used to be great, but lately it's been really gross and smelly. The packages are all torn up and bloody, making a huge mess in my fridge. They keep switching suppliers, so you never know what you're gonna get. I'd steer clear of them!
My meat order
I've been ordering meat from this place for a while now, and they've always gotten it right. But, during my last order, they made a mistake and it took forever to correct. The worst part is they don't have anyone you can call for help, just this bot named Faith that was no help at all. They stopped responding to me and left me with the wrong order. I'm definitely not ordering from them again because of their terrible customer service.

This was our first time trying out the boneless/skinless chicken breasts from Crowd Cow, and we won't be doing it again. The portion sizes were okay, but the quality of the meat was not great. The chicken was stringy and didn't look good, so we ended up tossing a lot of it before cooking. It was a letdown overall and we won't be giving them another shot.
