Wireless meat thermometer
The wireless meat thermometer I got was a huge disappointment. The connection hardly ever works, even when I'm just a few feet away from it. It keeps dropping, which is super annoying. I was looking for a handy tool to assist me with cooking, but this one just doesn't come through reliably.
Gifted faulty product
I first got a Meater Plus model that kept disconnecting from the app. I tried to fix it for months and asked for a refund, but then a manager got in touch with me. They sent me a replacement Meater Plus, and it works great in my oven and smoker. I'm really happy with how well it works now.
Meater 2+ purchase for gift
I bought the Meater 2+ as a gift for someone special recently. We were both really looking forward to using it, but to our surprise, I got the original Meater instead of the newer version. I tried to return it, but they said no at first. I have been trying to contact customer service through messages because there is no phone number to call. It's been a week now, and my second return request is still pending, and the return period is almost over. I am pretty disappointed with this whole situation and the lack of customer service. I might start looking at other brands that have better customer service.
Meater thermometer
This thermometer is amazing, it seriously tells you when your food is cooked just right and gives you all the details on the temperature and everything. Finally, no more overcooked or undercooked meat for me, hooray! And no more wondering if the meat is good to go, just rely on the Meater. It's really simple to use, and it even reminds you when to take the meat out and let it sit for a bit. Plus, it's wireless, so no pesky wires hanging out of your oven. It's the best thing ever!
Sous Vide Lamb Roast
I recently tried out the Meater to cook up a boneless leg of lamb roast. I started by Sous Vide-ing it first, then finished it off on my Charcoal Weber Kettle grill. Let me tell you, the Meater went above and beyond my expectations. With its Bluetooth connection, I was able to easily keep an eye on the meat's temperature without constantly poking and prodding at it. The app was super easy to use and kept me updated on how the cooking was going in real-time. In the end, I had a perfectly cooked, juicy, and flavorful lamb roast that wowed all my guests. I'm seriously thinking about tossing out all my other meat thermometers because the Meater is in a whole different league.
