Recent Currency Exchange Transaction
I've been using this currency exchange service for a long time and it's been mostly good. But recently, my transactions have been kind of off. It was slower than usual and I found out that the money is now going to a Clearbank account connected to Moorwand. This partnership has me a bit worried because I don't really know what it means and what their intentions are. Also, my bank's Confirmation of Payee system couldn't recognize the new sort code and account number, which made me concerned about fraud. I tried to get some answers from CurrencyFair, but their response was unhelpful and generic, which left me feeling let down and annoyed. So now, I'm looking into other options for foreign exchange to see if I should keep using CurrencyFair or switch to a different provider.

Bulb Basket Christmas Gift
I bought a bulb basket as a Christmas gift in early December, hoping it would get to me by 12/11-12 before the person I was gifting it to went on their holiday travels. Unfortunately, Wind and Weather kept pushing back the shipment, which was frustrating and disappointing. When I reached out to customer service, I only got vague answers about why there was a delay and no clear timeline for when it would actually ship. This lack of communication and unreliable information makes me think poorly of their customer service. Because of all this, the gift didn't make it to the intended recipient on time, and it made me feel pretty disappointed with the whole shopping experience. Wind and Weather's lack of organization and concern for keeping customers happy has made me decide not to buy from them again in the future.

Called me within 2-3 days of placing order to confirm my address and it shipped a few days later. Once it shipped, it came in 4 days. So from order to receiving it took 12 days. I had to order more heartworm protection to go with the flea and tick medication I had for my dog because I moved and the new vet wanted to prescribe new medication. I wanted to use up the existing medication I had. So all in all, it worked out!

I figured I’d start with something small, then if I was happy with the item I’d order more things. I got a notice that the shipping label was created but it was never delivered for shipment. It’s been a week now and still hasn’t been picked up by the USPS for shipping. I sent the happy givers a note a couple days ago about the status and haven’t received a response. Lesson learned.
