mixed, but glad I tried. I needed help ASAP — bad back, couldn't keep up with cleaning — so I signed up and paid for a month. Within 20 minutes my account was closed even though I hadn’t used anything. Support took three days to answer and didn’t explain why they kept my money. Annoying, but I found a cleaner elsewhere, so it worked out in the end.
Locked out at the worst time
Smoke still on my jacket when I tried to use the account. I needed help after my house fire — lost stuff and needed care lined up fast. Instead they locked my account days later and wouldn’t say why. I couldn’t update billing, couldn’t get services, and they kept a $200 payment. It felt like being dropped when I was most vulnerable. One rep sounded actually apologetic, oddly. But overall delivery and customer service were disappointing.
One-day help, months of billing
So yeah, I wouldn't use them again. I needed a sitter for one single day after a minor back surgery and found someone fine in time, which was a relief — unexpected win. But the billing was a mess. I posted a month ahead and even got an email saying my listing would stop on a specific date. Then they kept charging my card for four more months and balked at refunds, saying the email was "confusing" and I had to cancel myself. Little annoying surprises like that kill it.
Strange cancel experience
I signed up in late March to try the subscription; first impression was okay — clean site, seemed straightforward. A few weeks later I went to cancel and the website looked like it accepted it, but I never got a confirmation email. That’s the main headache. Support was slow, no supervisor option, and they wouldn't refund past charges. In the end the recurring charge stopped after I disputed with my bank, so I'm kind of relieved, even though the whole process was clumsy and annoying.
Profile shut down, no answers
Signed up because I needed steady local clients for after-school babysitting and weekend care — I’m a registered childcare provider and this is how I keep my schedule full. I did worry before joining; saw mixed reviews and wondered about hidden rules or sudden bans. After a little over a month my profile was just shut down with an automated email, no reason, no warning. I’d uploaded my paperwork and kept things honest. I contacted support but don’t expect anything useful based on what others say. It’s annoying and disruptive to my daily routine; I managed to pick up work through word-of-mouth, but I won’t trust paying them again.
Billing mess, use caution
don't trust their billing — be careful. I needed help after my mom's hip surgery and signed up because the site promised easy searches and a short-term plan. The price shown was miles off from what actually hit my card; I was charged way more (like ten times what I expected). The signup screens are confusing, almost sneaky, and it felt like fine print buried in steps. Customer support dragged their feet and refused a refund even though I never used paid features. Oddly, we did find a decent sitter through the listings, so it's not all bad — just watch your card and the fine print.
Almost walked away
fixed it without a fight and refunded the extra. So my doubts didn't fully vanish right away, but they were resolved. Tip: keep screenshots and ask for written confirmation. Kinda relieved it worked out, honestly. Would I do it again? Probably, but cautiously.
Unexpected account removal, delivery saved it
vague emails, repeated templates that didn't answer anything, and customer support felt like talking to a wall. What finally turned it around was persistence — after pushing and asking for a supervisor they actually reviewed my file, explained the issue (not ideal, but more transparent) and offered a refund plus reactivation options. Delivery-wise I have no complaints — every order arrived on time and well packed, which made me less angry if I'm honest. Price felt fair compared to other places where you wait forever and get excuses. Still, initial handling was sloppy and that eroded trust; I've had worse from other companies so I wasn't ready to write them off completely. Bottom line: they stumbled on service but fixed it when pressed. If you care about delivery and want decent follow-up, give them a chance but keep records and be ready to escalate. Not perfect, but an acceptable outcome for me in the end.
Premium membership cancellation
I recently decided to cancel my premium membership on Care. The problem is, even though I turned off auto-renewal, I'm apparently still going to be a premium member for the next 2.5 months. And to make things even more annoying, I can't seem to find any way to contact customer support about this issue. I tried reaching out to over 20 "caregivers" on the site, but only got a few responses. It looks like a lot of the listings might not even be active, which is worrying since I upgraded thinking there would be tons of options. All I want now is a refund, but I'm stuck in this frustrating situation with no customer support in sight.
Home-care hiring and savings
I tried using Care to find 3 great candidates for my home-care job real quick! I was able to interview them within 4 days and saved a bunch of money compared to other options.
Caregiver listing experience
Man, this website is a total joke. I can't believe how unprofessional and disorganized the whole thing is. It's like once you post a listing, it's out of sight, out of mind. Getting no response or updates is seriously frustrating. And the fact that caregivers have to pay to be listed, but there's no effort to make sure the listings are top-notch? Come on. The rates they offer are just insulting, considering all the work they expect you to do for basically peanuts. I realized pretty fast that this site was a waste of my time and money, so I canceled my subscription after just a month. And that sad 1.7 overall rating really says it all about how little they care about quality on this platform.
Subscription cancellation nightmare
I had this account for like six months and I cancelled it back in August. But then, surprise surprise, they billed me again in February! Can you believe it? I tried disputing the charge so many times, but they refused to give me my money back. I had to send them like a ton of proof and documents, it was insane. And to make matters worse, some of the caregivers were acting all shady and doing sketchy things. I'm telling you, steer clear of this place!
Online membership
I recently signed up for a membership with this company online, and man, I gotta say I was really let down by the service. The website seemed totally sketchy - I mean, all the users looked fake, like they were just made up by the company. And when I did some digging, turns out all the profiles were identical and had the same IP address. I felt totally ripped off after all that, so I definitely wouldn't suggest this website to anybody.
Membership purchase for caregiver job
Ugh, this website is such a pain to use! There are so many bugs and glitches that it's practically impossible to do anything. And their tech support is a mess too! I paid to post a caregiver job for my son who is on a feeding tube, but they kept rejecting my postings and saying to "read the guidelines." I read those guidelines over and over and still couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong. Finally, after contacting tech support, they tell me it's because my son is on a feeding tube. Why didn't they just say that from the start? Now I'm fighting to get my money back since they never posted my job like they were supposed to.
Home maintenance services
Man, can you believe this? Multiple folks were like, "Yeah, I can help," but then when it came time to lock in a time, they vanished into thin air. I even thought one person was on board, but they totally stood me up. I had to start a whole new job request just to try and get someone to actually follow through this Friday. And to make matters worse, they want me to give them my credit card info just to post a job for pet care. Um, no way.
Membership payment
This place is a complete rip-off. They took my membership payment and then tried to get me to do a background check for a job offer that didn't even exist! Before I knew it, they were using my card info to steal over £200, and they were trying to take even more. I reported them for fraud and now they're being looked into. I'm also reporting them to companies house and the ombudsman service with all the proof I have. It's just terrible how they're preying on vulnerable folks like that.
Searching for care providers
I was searching for someone to take care of my pet and came across this place with a bunch of options. It was great to have so many choices, but it was a bummer that some of them took so long to respond. Luckily, I found someone who was really nice and helpful, which made up for the wait.
Membership cancellation
I canceled my membership more than a month ago, but I've still been getting charged for the next 3 months even though I haven't used any services. I've reached out to customer service a few times to try to fix this, but I haven't gotten a good solution yet. It's been really annoying and disappointing dealing with the lack of communication and slow response to billing mistakes.
Dog training session
I just had a training session for my hyper little dogs with Keri, and she was fantastic! She really took the time to relax them and earn their trust, which is no small feat with my pups. Her patience and kindness really impressed me, and I can already see a big change in their behavior.
Membership subscription
The whole thing is a total scam. They make you sign up for a subscription just to check out your messages, which are all ads and not even relevant. I tried to get my money back after just an hour of using it, but they wouldn't help me out at all. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this service.
