Training session disappointment
I had a really bad experience with a few different trainers on this service. The first one said the distance was too much, the second never responded to my emails, and the third was just plain unprofessional. It was frustrating that they weren't good at keeping in touch or being dependable. The CEO did try to help by suggesting another trainer, but that didn't pan out because of conflicting schedules. In the end, I had to request a refund, which thankfully went smoothly compared to everything else.
Fitness training with Wendress Walker
I just got back from New York City, and let me tell you, I had an amazing time training with Wendress Walker! She really knew what I needed for my fitness level and kept me pumped up. Every session was awesome, and I'm already looking forward to training with her again next time I'm in NYC.

I joined this platform as a trainer more than a year ago with the goal of meeting clients and expanding my business. I have a strong background and lots of experience in the fitness industry, and I even got some professional headshots taken to boost my profile. However, I haven't gotten any clients or inquiries since signing up. The support team takes forever to get back to me and their advice hasn't been useful. It's been a total waste of my time and money.

I bought a package of 24 personal training sessions before the pandemic, but I injured my back and couldn't do virtual training during quarantine. I asked for a refund for the rest of the sessions, but they said no. I tried to explain my situation multiple times, but they stopped replying to my emails. Now I'm still waiting for a solution, and I haven't gotten any updates or help. It's frustrating to have over $1200 tied up with them, especially since I'm moving out of the country soon. Their lack of empathy and refusal to give a refund in these tough times is disappointing and makes their customer service look bad.
Efficient training program
I have to admit, at first I had my doubts about the slower pace of this training program. I was used to faster workouts with other trainers in the past. But you know what? I soon saw the upside to taking it easy. No more dreading workouts because of all the pain. Mariano really knows his stuff and his guidance has helped me improve at a steady pace. Now I actually look forward to our sessions together.
8 session package purchase
I thought the training session with my trainer was really good, so I went ahead and bought 8 more sessions. But things got tricky when I tried to book those sessions. I had to go through the company's concierge service instead of just talking to my trainer directly. It was a pain because it made it really hard to schedule sessions for the same day and time. I wish they had told me from the start that I'd have to go through the concierge. My trainer was great and knew their stuff, but not being able to talk to them directly about scheduling was a letdown.
In home training request
My time with this service was a major letdown. I picked a trainer for at-home sessions, got charged even though they were booked up. Customer service said they'd give me a credit, but it never showed up. I tried a different trainer, same story - they couldn't fit me in regularly. They said I wouldn't get charged, but I did. The site didn't show accurate availability or locations for training, and now I'm out over $500 on my card. Watch out for this scam, folks!
Quick and hassle-free trainer selection
I was really impressed by how simple it was to find a trainer that suited my needs on this platform. Hard to use website
The website is seriously like a maze. It's so frustrating and confusing to find what you're looking for. I spent such a long time just trying to book a session or find a trainer. Thankfully, David was really friendly and helped me out. But, geez, they really need to improve their website.
Shady billing practices
My trainer was awesome, but the way things are run at the company is pretty sketchy. It's annoying that there's no easy way to cancel your subscription online. You have to hunt around in the FAQs to get an email address and then sit around waiting for a response. This whole lack of transparency and convenience is a real turn off for me.

I think Find Your Trainer is a great tool for finding and booking trainers, but I feel like the website could be even better with a few more features. It would be really nice if they added an easy way to cancel subscriptions and the option to either have packages auto-renew or buy them as a one-time purchase. Right now, subscriptions renew automatically and it can be a pain to contact FYT to cancel. Also, sometimes trainers don't keep their info up to date, like their availability and travel options. It would be awesome if FYT could remind trainers every so often to update their profiles to make sure everything is accurate.
