Don't choose Stephen Southard
Stephen Southard is not very good at communicating and only pays attention to certain symptoms. He can't really give a good reason for refusing medication and just tells you to take it or leave it. He comes off as rude, distant, and unwilling to compromise. I wouldn't recommend him.
Virtual doctor consultation
HealthTap hooked me up with a doctor super fast and without me having to wait long at all. The tools they gave me to learn more were so helpful and really helped calm my nerves about my diagnosis. I'm thankful for the trustworthy service and feel really good about the doctors on HealthTap knowing they're top-notch professionals.
Virtual doctor consultation
I tried out that virtual doctor consultation thing to ask about a new medication I was supposed to take, but I had some worries about it. I gave the doctor a bunch of details and asked a lot of questions, but his response wasn't very helpful or clear. All he basically said was if I had concerns, I shouldn't take the medication, without giving me any more advice or help. It left me feeling annoyed and let down that I didn't get any useful info from the appointment.
My experience on HealthTap
My time on HealthTap has been pretty frustrating because of this one problem I kept running into while trying to answer questions in the Learn and Teach section. Every time I scrolled through tons of questions to pick one to answer, I'd end up getting sent back to the top of the list when I hit the back button. So then I'd have to start all over again, even putting in my specialty again. It wasn't a huge deal at first, but after answering a bunch of questions, it just took up so much time and was really disheartening. In the end, this problem made me stop answering questions on HealthTap completely.
Health consultation service
I recently tried out the health consultation service and I gotta say, it was really helpful for all kinds of medical questions I had. They offer free educational answers which I found super informative. But, I was kinda bummed out by what I thought was false advertising. I ended up getting a premium plan because they promised a free consultation with a specialist, but turns out it only covered basic primary care stuff. When I asked for a refund and showed proof of the misleading ads, they weren't willing to budge. Overall, I think the service is cool and handy, but just be careful with any promises that sound too good to be true.
Mystery monthly charge
I got hit with a $15 charge every month for something I wasn't familiar with, so I checked out their website and realized it was linked to an old email of mine. I contacted them, and not only did they cancel the charge and give me a refund, but the customer service I got from Carla Gross was exceptional!
Virtual healthcare consultation
I just tried out this virtual healthcare consultation service and I have to say, I was really impressed. The platform was super easy to use, making it a breeze to connect with a healthcare professional. The doctor I spoke with really knew their stuff, was super attentive, and gave me all the guidance I was looking for. I would definitely suggest this service to anyone who needs medical advice or a little extra support.
Specialist medical advice
My experience with HealthTap was really disappointing. I had a specific medical issue that needed a specialist's help. But instead, they connected me with a bunch of general doctors who couldn't really help me. I talked to three different doctors in one session, and all they could tell me was to see a specialist. It was so frustrating and left me feeling let down by HealthTap's service.
Primary Care Doctor Subscription
A friend told me about HealthTap last spring and I've found it to be super helpful. It's great because I can easily reach out to my son's regular doctor whenever we need to. It came in handy when my son got hurt and needed advice from someone other than me. Being able to chat with the doctor right away without having to schedule an appointment is really amazing. I feel reassured knowing that our doctor knows my son's medical history and what he needs. It's definitely worth the monthly subscription fee for the peace of mind and good care we get.
Health advice platform
I gotta say, I was really impressed with the help I got from HealthTap. I wasn't expecting much, kinda thought it would be like all those other basic health websites out there. But man, was I wrong! HealthTap went above and beyond, giving me expert advice that actually made a difference in how I take care of myself. It helped me feel more in control of my health and even gave me some good ideas for saving money on medical stuff. I'd definitely suggest giving HealthTap a try if you want trustworthy health advice.
Health consultation services
I had a really bad experience with this health consultation service. The customer service wasn't great, the app kept crashing, and I noticed some unexpected charges on my account. The chat sessions would cut out all the time, which was really annoying. The doctors I talked to didn't seem very understanding and, overall, it just wasn't a good experience.
Consultation for uninsured individual
As someone who doesn't have insurance right now, HealthTap has been a real lifesaver for me. I had a chat with a doc who really listened to me, took the time to get my medical background, and gave me some super helpful advice. They didn't just rush through the appointment, but actually talked to me like a person and made me feel like they really cared. HealthTap totally went above and beyond what I expected and I definitely suggest their services to anyone dealing with the same stuff.
Doctor's side hustle
I was so surprised! Turns out my doctor is using this app to make some extra money by answering questions instead of getting back to me through email about my health. Can you believe it? I always thought they were too busy at the office to respond, but now I see they're just here for the cash. What a letdown.
Doctor visit
The doctors on HealthTap are pretty good, but the pricing can be tricky. They don't accept insurance, so you gotta pay upfront and then they promise to bill your insurance, but that never seems to happen. So you end up not getting credit for your deductible or out-of-pocket costs. On top of that, you can't even transfer your health records to another doctor. It's either $129 for a quick 10-minute visit or $44+59 every 3 months for ongoing care. If you have insurance, it's probably best to stick with a traditional doctor's office!
Telemedicine convenience
HealthTap is a game-changer when it comes to accessing healthcare services. It makes talking with doctors simple and helpful, bridging the gap between patients and physicians. I definitely suggest having this app on your phone, since it could possibly save your life down the road.
Subscription service
This service is totally a scam! They make it sound like you'll get quick and easy healthcare, but it's all just a trick. They take your money and then act like they totally forgot about the services they said they'd give you. Trying to get a refund? Good luck with that - it's a total nightmare! And on top of all that, they don't even have a phone number for customer support, so you're stuck sending email after email with no response. Save yourself the trouble and find a different online healthcare provider that actually follows through on what they say.
Online medical consultation
My experience with online medical consultations on this platform has been pretty disappointing. I was just trying to get help for normal everyday things, but they kept telling me to go see my regular doctor, which kind of defeats the purpose of using an online health service. I felt like I wasted my money because the consultations didn't give me the help I needed. It seemed like the whole system was just passing money around between doctors instead of really helping the people trying to get better.
Quick and convenient service
I just used this service to help my uninsured mom get a prescription. I was a little worried at first because of some bad reviews, but I was really happy with how quick and simple it ended up being. In just an hour, I got the prescription sent in and my mom got the medicine she needed.
HealthTap service for uninsured individuals
As someone without insurance, I gotta say HealthTap really came through for me when I needed advice on my health. Dr. Liu really listened to me and gave me detailed and thoughtful answers to my questions. It was clear he genuinely cared about me and didn't rush through our conversations. I usually don't recommend services, but HealthTap has definitely earned my trust and full recommendation.
Need improvement
Well, not as expected but in my first case everything gone good as recommended tests cleared by doubts and didn't noticed anything negative as I read many reviews almost customers find disappointed by services I am not an expert who can decide good or bad by first negotiations I was fortunate who had good observation
But unfortunately in second case (after three months) I really faced negative value if doctors who prescribed pharmacy and response were very bad I contacted them immediately and raised my complain with team requested to make an alternative shop but despite positive assurances and feedback nothing could managed
Hence I would like to request Health Tap executives to take it seriously and ensure no such repetition in future.
