The results I got for my health were so great! They told me all about my genes and how likely I am to get certain diseases. I found out I have a high risk for 15 different conditions, which is kind of scary but also good to know. A few of them run in my family, so now I know what to watch out for. Plus, the results get updated regularly with new research, which is awesome.
When it comes to ancestry, though, that part was a bit confusing for me. I couldn't really make sense of it, so I think if you're just interested in your family history, you might want to try a simpler test.

This is the absolute worst! I ordered a DNA test and it’s been 6 months and I still haven’t gotten an answer. They haven't even responded to any of my messages. I wouldn’t even bother with them!

I sent in my DNA to Nebula Genomics back in late August and now, as of February 8th, it's still stuck in the extraction phase even though it was already shown in the sequencing stage. I've reached out multiple times through tickets and emails, but there hasn't been any progress or results shared with me. It's been really frustrating because I can't seem to get anyone to help me address and fix this problem.
DNA kit, customs issue
I ordered a DNA kit, but it ended up getting stuck in customs. Nebula Genomics told me they would send another one, but then they stopped replying to my messages. Don't forget to use PayPal when you pay and remember to file a claim within 180 days!

I've had a really frustrating time with this genetic testing kit. The first DNA sample didn't work, and even after they sent me a new kit, the second try also failed. It's been more than 8 months, and I still haven't gotten the results for the third sample I sent in. The customer support team can't seem to give me any helpful info other than the usual stuff. Luckily, after a bit of back and forth, they did refund my money, but it took a whole week and a bunch of tries to get them to do it.

I was really disappointed with the DNA mapping and lifetime membership service I signed up for. I paid to have all of my DNA mapped and also joined the lifetime membership to get updates on my traits and health issues. They said I'd get the results in a few weeks, but I never got them. I tried to ask about what was going on with my DNA mapping, but they never got back to me. Every time I complained, they just gave me more vague promises about when I could expect the results, but they never came. It was really frustrating and I felt like I wasted my money on a service that never came through.

It felt like it took forever for my DNA test kit to arrive, like seriously almost 3 weeks! When it finally came, it was in this huge box that's not very eco-friendly. And to top it off, they didn't even include a prepaid envelope for me to send my swab back with. Now they're telling me I have to pay for return postage? Not cool, man.

Plus, they threw in some weird details like my income and when my first kid was born that didn't seem relevant. I wanted a better grasp of what makes me tick, but instead, I just got a jumbled mess of data that left me unsatisfied with the whole experience.

This company is such a joke! I did everything they asked, but my sample still got rejected. Then they had the nerve to say it was my fault for not spitting right. My kit had a tough time getting to me because of my country's strict policies, but this dude named Matt really went the extra mile to make sure I got it (even sent it multiple times for free). I'm seriously blown away.
