don't waste your money - most leads were fake or from people not even looking for a lawyer. I signed up because we were short on cases after staff turnover and needed real clients fast. Support shrugged, wouldn't credit bad leads, and they kept spamming me. Disappointing, honestly.
Feels like a script
I tried this because a coworker mentioned it and I was hopeful, but using the chat felt like talking to a script. I explained twice — in chat and on the form — that my case is out of state, yet the referrals were for my city again. Useful? Not really, just repetitive automated replies and predictable.
Kitchen call that changed my mind
Weird afternoon — I almost canceled before calling. I was unsure if they'd just take my money, honestly. I asked for help and they phoned back, not to push me but to say they couldn't take my case yet and gave simple tips instead. That honesty actually sold me. I use their templates and short advice in day-to-day stuff now. Feels real, not slick, and I'm happy most days.
Quick brush-off call
if you want actual help, don't count on them unless you're ready to pay up front.
Unexpectedly useful leads
By week two I was already doubting the whole signup — I expected garbage. I use the leads for morning intake calls and case screening, and most ended up legitimate. Not perfect, there’s still junk and a slow support response, but overall relieved it worked better than I feared.
Almost gave up
I needed an out-of-state lawyer after moving, and I was ready to write this off—chat looked like bots at first, repeating the same replies. After pushing a bit, customer service actually sent the right contacts. Not perfect, took extra nudging, but delivery of referrals ended up being helpful. Price seemed fair for the quick turnaround, overall.
Tuesday delivery made my week
On a rainy Tuesday the box showed up earlier than I thought. Customer service answered a late question fast, actually seemed human and helpful — showed me how to use it in my morning routine. The little handwritten note was the nicest surprise. Product works great for daily coffee prep, and the whole process was smooth, simple and friendly.
That Jerry Moment
Right in the middle of a hectic day he calls and says "we have an offer" — that's when I relaxed. Jerry didn't sugarcoat things, walked me through the messy AmEx back-and-forth, kept me updated, and actually got a fair settlement. Not flawless — a few slow emails — but solid, honest, and exactly what I needed. I'd tell friends to call him.
Slow follow-up
Was sitting at my kitchen table, papers spread, expecting a callback — nothing. I sent the request and even called; promised an attorney would reach out in one business day, then three, then silence. Using it for a lease question felt awkward. Oddly, their portal had clear forms, that part actually helped me a bit.
Long wait, no help
Sat on my phone waiting for a callback for a week — needed an attorney fast because of a landlord dispute, so I filled out the intake and even called. They said one business day, then three, then nothing. Felt like being ghosted. Paperwork just sat there; won’t use them again.
Quick fix, mixed results
if you try this, be ready to cancel fast and ask for the refund.
Too many duplicates, but at least I got out
I signed up because my solo practice needed cases fast after a slow quarter, and I figured Nolo could help. Turns out the same lead keeps getting sold to a bunch of lawyers. People told me they got eight calls in 30 minutes — yep, that happened. Quality was low, but canceling was painless and I got a refund, so I'm kind of relieved.
Mostly junk leads, occasional gem
the leads are vague, duplicated, and you pay for most that go nowhere. Customer emails are all canned replies; I never reached a real person. Weirdly, every now and then a solid, usable lead pops up, which kept me hanging on longer than I should have.
Mixed results, relieved
Weirdly I was ready to write them off — had been burned by other lead vendors before. Leads showed up on schedule, some were useful, some not. First replies were totally templated and annoying, but after pushing I finally got a real rep who helped and arranged a partial credit. Not perfect, but relieved it wasn’t a total mess, I guess, so thanks.
Surprisingly useful find
I stumbled onto this site last week when I needed quick legal advice. I mean, I was skeptical at first, but the chat felt easy to use and connected me to someone fast. The whole thing feels informal, slightly rough around the edges, but honest — I kept clicking around, found what I needed, and felt more confident after. Not perfect, but definitely worth a try, too.
Sketchy matching, beware
I tried their lawyer finder and felt uneasy. Chats that were supposed to be private turned out to be shared, or at least that's what it felt like. No clear way to complain. I ended up switching to AVVO and got a real match, so not all lost. Wish they'd be upfront about data use. If you try it, don't dump personal info until you're sure and take care.
Weird referral, but it worked out
I went with this referral service last month when I needed a lawyer, and at first it was a mess. Phone calls just dropped or went nowhere, and an email bounced back — had me thinking it was a scam. I kept at it though, called a few times over two days, and finally got through to someone who knew what they were doing. Still annoyed by the dead-end start, but in the end they did connect me to a decent lawyer, mixed feelings.
Referral felt off
Right after I clicked the Nolo referral, things went sideways. The firm on paper looked legit — clean site, some decent reviews — so I even tipped a coworker to call, but when we rang they acted like they’d never heard of the referral or me. Calls would drop or just hang up, and my emails bounced back saying the address didn’t exist. I can’t call it fraud for sure, but it’s frustrating and unreliable. Might work for others, but I wouldn’t share sensitive info.
Skeptic turned semi-fan
I get quick answers, my coffee stays warm, and my workflow actually improved. So yeah, doubts didn't vanish completely, but it's useful enough to keep using most days.
A small relief
It was a rainy Tuesday and the chatbot kept insisting it was a person. I almost walked away. I didn’t, because I use this for my morning routine — timers, quick reminders and the commute checklist. After a bit a real agent jumped in and actually fixed my settings. That’s the moment I knew I was satisfied. Simple, honest, fast. The bot still sounds robotic sometimes, but day-to-day it works and saves me time. Not perfect, but good enough for daily use.
