YourMechanic: Average Service, Overpriced
I've used YourMechanic a few times now for various car repairs and I've been pretty satisfied with the service overall. The process of booking an appointment is pretty straightforward - you go on their website or app, enter your location and the type of service you need, and then select a date and time that works for you. They also give you an estimate of the cost beforehand which is helpful.
The mechanics that have come out to work on my car have all been professional and seemed to know what they were doing. They were able to diagnose and fix the issues I had with my car in a timely manner. I appreciated that they were able to come to my house to do the repairs, as it saves me the hassle of having to drop off my car at a shop and arrange for a ride.
The only downside is that the prices can be a bit higher than what you'd pay at a traditional shop. However, the convenience of having the repairs done at your home or work more than makes up for it in my opinion.
Overall, I would recommend YourMechanic to anyone in need of a quick, easy, and professional car repair service. They have a good team of mechanics and the booking process is easy to navigate. Also, there was a technical problem that kept changing the service address to the wrong one. Luckily, the technician reached out to double-check the appointment details and fixed the address mix-up. Despite everything, the service was excellent given the circumstances, and I would recommend it to others who need help with their car.

I'm really upset about the service I got from this company. I reached out to them about an electrical issue with my car that was draining the battery. Even though I told them about the problem beforehand, the mechanic they sent couldn't even get the car started, let alone figure out what was wrong. It's not right to make customers pay for services that weren't actually done, especially when they already knew what the issue was. The mechanic's lack of skills and professionalism was really disappointing.
