Credit report inquiry
I talked to a customer service rep from TransUnion about my credit score drop, but they were not helpful at all. They couldn't really explain why it happened, which made me think they didn't really know what they were doing. When I mentioned a real estate balance, they just ended the call suddenly, which left me feeling really irritated and confused. It's pretty alarming that important financial stuff like this is being dealt with by people who can't even communicate properly.
Credit score evaluation
I had a really annoying time dealing with the credit score evaluation process at this company lately. I always pay off my credit card balances on time and use my cards responsibly, but my credit score still took a hit because of their old-fashioned standards. It looks like they're dinging people who use credit cards for the benefits they offer, rather than just for building credit. It's frustrating to watch my credit score go down just because I prefer using a credit card over a debit card when making purchases. The lack of clarity in how they evaluate credit scores is worrisome, especially when I compare it to other credit monitoring services I've used before.
Accuracy of credit report
I had this super frustrating situation with the company messing up my voter registration. It made me miss out on some good mortgage deals. I gave them proof that I was registered, but it still took them almost two years to fix it. And even after the Ombudsman told them to pay me back, I'm still waiting for the money.
Credit score purchase issue
I recently tried to get my credit score, but ran into some big issues. I put in my credit card details, but then got an error message saying it was wrong, even though I'm sure it was right because I got charged twice. So I couldn't see my credit score, and had to go through a annoying and long process to fix it. The customer service person I talked to didn't really care and didn't help much, saying their systems were down and telling me to call back after being transferred around. The way this company doesn't work together and talk was really frustrating.
Credit report service experience
I had a really bad time with the credit report company. They put up wrong stuff on my report that made my credit score drop, and when I tried to get in touch to fix it, nobody answered. Plus, I was surprised when they couldn't even get a UK postcode right, even though I needed it for my report. It's worrying and makes me doubt how reliable they are as a credit reporting source.
My credit report
My credit report is completely messed up! I paid off all my bills a long time ago, but they keep insisting that I still owe money. I've been calling and disputing it, but they keep telling me that I'm mistaken. I even showed them evidence that everything is settled, but they refuse to correct it. It's beyond frustrating!
Data Protection
This company is just a scam trying to trick you into giving them all your personal info. Don't fall for their talk about protecting your data, they just want to make money off of people who don't know any better. I'd stay far away from them if I were you.
Credit monitoring service
Man, this credit monitoring service is such a rip-off! They're basically just a bunch of crooks out to steal from you and encourage dishonesty. Their so-called customer service is a complete joke, and good luck trying to get your money back for their shady fees. I can't believe I didn't check them out before signing up. And even if you cancel your membership, they still charge you the full amount. Seriously, stay far away from this company!
Credit monitoring and freeze lifting
My experience with this company has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing. Their website is always acting up, which makes it super hard to find important info like the status of a credit freeze. This has been going on for three whole years, showing that they really don't care about their customers. It seems like whenever I try to tell them about these problems, they just ignore me. They can't seem to fix anything quickly. In contrast, dealing with Equifax and Experian is a breeze compared to this. Every time I try to lift a freeze temporarily, it takes way too long - over an hour. The whole process is so inefficient and not user-friendly, it really makes me wonder if they know what they're doing.
My recent experience with updating my file
I just tried to update my file with this company, but man, it was tough. The process didn't go as smoothly as I thought it would, and I hit a bunch of obstacles. It was super frustrating because no matter what I did, I couldn't get the results I wanted. It felt like my concerns were totally ignored, and I ended up really unhappy with the service I got.
Misinformation from bank
I didn't even request their service, but they somehow got my info from my bank, which was totally wrong. I'm a registered voter and always vote, but they had all the wrong details. When I asked them to fix it, they wouldn't own up to their mistake and told me to go through the hassle of proving it with documentation from the local council. Like, seriously? That's just absurd and so aggravating.
Credit report dispute
I had a really bad time trying to dispute info on my credit report with this company. They ignored me and wouldn't even try to help. The website is a pain to use, and the customer service folks are clueless and not useful at all. It took me forever to try to fix things, but I just kept getting more annoyed and feeling like they didn't know what they were doing. I definitely wouldn't suggest using this company for anything to do with credit.
Free credit report
I tried to get my free credit report and got stuck paying 25 bucks for some monitoring service. I was totally baffled, like why do they need my credit card info if it's supposed to be free, come on! Luckily, I called them and straightened out that mess. Just make sure you're on the right site for your free report, don't do what I did!
New current account credit rating downgrade
I recently saw a big drop in my credit score right after I switched to a new bank for my checking account. Even though I used the account switching service and closed out my old account pretty quickly, my credit score didn't bounce back like I thought it would. It was annoying to see that my old account, which had an overdraft option I never even touched, had a better credit score than my new account that didn't have an overdraft. This whole thing has me doubting how accurate and dependable these credit rating agencies really are. It felt like my score was just randomly decided and didn't really reflect my actual financial situation at all.
Credit monitoring services
I just signed up for credit monitoring services, and I gotta say, the rep I talked to was super helpful and knew her stuff. Let's call her "Sarah Stones." She gave me some great info to help me understand how everything works. I really appreciated her professionalism and how much she knew. All in all, it was a good experience, and I feel good about the services they're offering.
Covid test identity verification
I had to get a Covid test and TransUnion was supposed to confirm who I am, but they completely messed up. I've been living in the same spot for years and provided all my details, but they still couldn't get it right. It's really frustrating!
Account access issue
I've been so frustrated trying to get into my account with this company. I've answered all the security questions right, but for years now, I can't log in because they say there's a problem with the information I've given. It's just unbelievable to me that I can't access my account because I forgot some login details.
Incorrect information, responsibility misallocation, credit score damage
As a customer, I've been dealing with a problem lately when it comes to the info that the company gave me. They're saying I missed paying my gas bill when it's actually the fault of a tenant who's been in my property for a while. Because of this mistake, my credit score took a hit even though it used to be perfect. Now I have to spend my time and energy fixing this mess, which is annoying and a hassle.
Credit check purchase
I was just trying to check my credit score online and got tricked into signing up for a monthly subscription! I had to call and argue with the lady to get my money back.
Credit report inquiry
My experience with this company was super frustrating. I tried to ask about my credit report, but the customer service people were unhelpful and downright rude. The process was confusing and took forever, and even though I gave all the info they needed, I still couldn't get a straight answer about my report. The online chat was just as bad, always cutting out and taking forever to respond. I ended up feeling really annoyed and let down by how unprofessional and slow this company was.
