Misleading shipping fees
I just bought something from this company and I'm feeling pretty let down. They don't give refunds for shipping charges, which really surprised me since it's not mentioned anywhere on their site. It kind of feels like they're not telling the whole truth. I checked their refund policy and it seemed like I'd get my money back, shipping included. This whole thing has definitely left me feeling pretty disappointed.
Soft turquoise tunic, incorrect sizing, wrong color, hidden ties
Watch out for the sizing - I ordered a soft turquoise tunic for a wedding and ended up with a size way too big. The color was totally different from the one in the catalog. Plus, the blouse had hidden ties in the back that weren't even in the description. So just be careful when you order!

Bought grey biker shorts at the 3for 33. love them. Bought extra size larger, I loved them they were ordered along with a whole bunch of other stuff I think I spent $199 that day but the gray ones the ones I bought for wearing with navy blue and black shirts as well as very colorful shirts were made out of very thin material and not that tight they've had plenty of room I wore them for 2 hours and they've been going to rip and they pop threads all up and down the back seam the front seam and the side seams I'm very disappointed
Many in the past
I have received many catalogs and emails from Roamans and woman within. My issue is their so called sale tactics. specifically the BOGO and a certain percentage off. They always without fail bump up the price of the clothing from the regular price. I find this dishonest. There is not "sale or discount or savings " at all.Therefore I do not wish to do business with companies like this. Now I wish I could get them to stop sending me their catalog.
Pants, tops
I gave it 2 stars ONLY because it wouldn’t let me do 1, or 0. I ordered the middle of May, received my 1st order June 5-6, returned everything RIGHT away. Nothing has been credited to my account. I called customer service June 15, waited on line for 70 minutes. Was told the wait was 20 minutes. I emailed June 16 and FINALLY got a response July 16 with absolutely NO answer to my questions. I emailed again on the July 16 and have gotten NO RESPONSE. Finally said chat was available, first time ever it said that, so I wrote my concerns and account information and when I sent it it said chat unavailable. Customer service is awful. If you do not have enough help then you should extend return times. NOTHING has been credited to my account. It was all returned in original packaging, with original return packing slip. I WILL NOT order from them again. You should not order from them. The things I ordered were not as depicted in pictures.
4 tops, 2 Bras, 3 jeans
No reason it should take a month after ordering and still not be shipped. Really poor service.

Ordered on 4/26. Finally left warehouse on 5/12. Was not a backorder. Never explained why the delay. It is now 5/24 and I have learned it will not be here before 5/31. No explanation. Very poor customer service. I have marked Roamans and all companies they are affiluated with as companies I will not purchase from in the future. Too much competition to allow companies who treat their custmers with disrespect.

Items not delivered as promised. Tracking proves it is somewhere in the US going back and forth between shipping posts.
Tops
It has been two and a half weeks and has not left the warehouse. I ordered from other companies after ordering from Roamans and things were delivered within 7 days. One of the items was a large rug. They blame it on COVID. I blame it on poor business practices. I will never use Roamans again and will be throwing their catalog in the garbage.
Sweater
Ordered a sweater. Two weeks past and it had still not been shipped. Called to cancel order and was told it just now was being processed and could not be canceled. Funny thing is I was on the website as we were speaking and it still showed not shipped! Kind of feel like it's a bunch of BS! Won't order from them again!
Your experience demonstrates the exact experience and treatment I've been subjected to! Additionally, though the order has not shipped I am told via email I may not make any changes nor cancel same - going on 5 weeks since placing the order - I totally agree with you, Samantha - PURE BS AND FINANCIAL RAPE - NO MORE!
tunics, a few pants & shorts
Have to say that I am surprised at all the negative reviews here. Since 5 yrs ago, I had to entirely change out my wardrobe for various reasons and have been buying from Roamans/Woman Within since then. I think I have returned 4 items - one blouse had darts in wrong spot, one Tshirt tunic was too large, the color of one T was not as pictured (and it had to be a specific color to wear under a sweater) and one pack of underwear did not fit because I am oddly proportioned -and that is out of several dozen items. I do have to pay attention when ordering - prints can cost more than plain fabric, an item in this season's fabric can cost more than last season's and there are some items not quite available yet, but the expected ship dates have largely been met or they shipped earlier. And I do read the customers' reviews of items and they have warned me off buying a few items. They do not ship fast, that I will grant you, but I've learned to adjust my expectations because I like the products. I bought basic knit shorts recently for sleeping and I was very impressed by the quality. They have a few styles that I know work for me and I buy again and again. Of course my style needs are minimal since I am retired. My husband has remarked when we have been out in public that looking around at other women, my clothes are more appropriate, attractive and flattering than the vast majority and I have received compliments from women, as well. And some ask if I have ironed the cotton tunics and no, they are just fine washed and dried gently. Usually I watch for sales of some sort, realizing that close-outs from last season might be sold out in popular sizes. My experience has been consistently good and I've appreciated them even more during the pandemic.
Well, my experience has been a pure and total internet retail headache - on hold for over 25 minutes in an attempt to learn the status of my order after waiting nearly a month. Sent an email and that took a week for a response indicating I could not change or cancel the order - all this blaming covid BS....even after having received an email indicating one of the items I had ordered was not on sale for half the price I would be charged. THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL DESPICABLE "CUSTOMER SERVICE" EVER!!!!

2 sleep shirts
When you order they say delivery is within 7-12 business days. My package has been sitting in a Pitney Bowes warehouse now for over a week with no new tracking information. Customer service from Roaman's states I can't declare it lost until after February ‘30th'! Last time I looked at a calendar there are only 28 days in February. Roaman's put the blame on the postal service but they have never received package from Pitney Bowes. I've filed complaints against Roaman's and Pitney Bowes with the BBB. My suggestion, order from somewhere else.
3 tops I still haven't received
I purchased 3 tops on 11/25/20 . They were supposedly shipped 11/28/20. I still do not have them. No response to emails, and a call to customer service was horrific. The person I spoke to was rude and not at all helpful. Tracking never updates! It was my first time purchasing and it will be my last!
Several items totaling over $120
OMG. My credit card was charged twice for the same amount on 2 separate days. In addition my card was charged 2 more separate charges for supposed back order items that was included in the original charge. When calling to speak with someone about it I was given a run around answer and the associate could not explain why I was charged numerous times. I complained and said I wanted an explanation and wanted to know when the charges would be removed and she gave me a stock answer of the next business day. Really? So when I challenged that she told me she could just cancel the whole order! I then asked for a "supervisor" who gave me pretty much the same answer but said one of the charges would "probably" drop off the next business day. I said "probably"? He too could not explain what happened or guarantee the charges would drop off my card. I asked to speak with his supervisor then who asked for a screen shot from my bank and said he would forward to his technical department to find out what happened.This has prevented me from using my credit card somewhere else as I would then be over my credit limit with over $150 of extra pending authorizations. I will never order again from this company. Too bad as I like their clothes. Hoping I do not have to dispute all this with my credit card company!
