Bought Two Items
I recently bought a couple of items from this store, but when I went to return them, they claimed they never received them. I've called them multiple times, but all they do is redirect me to another number. Dealing with them has been super frustrating, and their customer service is definitely the worst. I wouldn't recommend spending your money at this company, it's just a big joke!
Dress return issues
I'm really frustrated with the service I've been getting from this company. I returned a dress that cost $129 and was told several times that I'd get a refund to my PayPal account. But I still haven't seen that money come back to me. On top of that, I ordered three pairs of capris that never arrived. When I asked about it, they said the capris were sent to a different address. It's crazy! I always use autofill for my address and I know I didn't mess up. And to make matters worse, I haven't gotten a refund for the missing items either. It feels like I'm just throwing money away!
Recent online clothing purchase
I just bought some clothes online and had a really bad customer service experience. I ordered a special outfit for my sister who's in a nursing home, but for some reason, the company cancelled the order. I tried to explain that it was my account, not my sister's, but the customer service rep wouldn't listen. They just kept saying I had to make a new order under my account. It was so frustrating dealing with someone who just didn't get it and wouldn't fix their mistake.
Missing Orders
I ordered some stuff last year, but I never received it! I called them multiple times, but they were no help at all. All they did was keep promising to fix the issue, but it never got resolved. On top of that, I ended up paying for items that I never even got. It's like they're a bunch of thieves!
Plus size catalog disappointment
I really support companies that focus on plus-size women, so it stung when I got this catalog that had hardly any representation for us. It's tough when a company talks a big game about supporting plus-size women but then doesn't back it up in their ads. How am I supposed to know if their clothes will actually look good on me if I can't see them on someone who looks like me?
It's annoying feeling like the company doesn't see us or care about our needs in an industry that should be welcoming to everyone, no matter their size. I hope they make changes and start showing a more diverse range of body types so everyone can feel beautiful and represented.Capris that were too long
I ordered these capris thinking they'd be perfect for summer, but man, were they long! They were like pants, not capris! I was so disappointed because I was really excited to wear them. And to make matters worse, returning them was a hassle! Not cool. And let me tell you about their customer service - it was awful! The folks I spoke with didn't seem to give a darn about my issue. Overall, my whole experience was pretty unimpressive.
Expedited shipping disappointment
I just bought something thinking I'd get it in 1-2 business days with expedited shipping. Turns out, the company doesn't ship right away and only starts counting the days once it's shipped. That made me pretty annoyed and frustrated, since I paid extra for quick delivery that didn't happen. Seems kind of shady to make it seem like they ship fast but not actually come through on it.
Lost Order
I ordered something not too long ago and it never showed up. I've tried a bunch of times to fix things but still haven't gotten my money back. Customer service has been no help at all and I think they're purposely giving me a hard time about getting a refund.
Bras purchase
The online ordering process was kinda confusing because the prices they advertised in the catalog weren't the same on the website. I saw in the catalog that bras were supposed to be 50% off, but when I checked online they were full price. And don't even get me started on the crazy high shipping charges. When I tried to get some help, all customer service gave me was the option to call them, which was a pain. This whole thing was a total letdown.
Dress purchase, expedited shipping
I recently bought a dress and paid extra for faster shipping so I could get it in time for an event. But, to my disappointment, my order still hasn't been shipped and it says "not shipped" on the status. The customer service people I've talked to haven't been much help - they've given me wrong info about the shipping. It's really annoying to fork out more money for fast shipping and then not know what's going on with my order. If Roamans can't follow through with their promise of speedy shipping, then they shouldn't even offer it to us customers.
Cute clothes
My mom used to shop at Roamans all the time, so I thought I'd give it a shot - and I'm really glad I did! The clothes actually fit me well and the quality is amazing. I've only had one problem in the last 15 years and they fixed it quickly. Plus, they have sister stores for home goods and I can use my cards at any of them - so convenient! The UPS guy basically knows me by name now because I shop there so often. And don't be fooled thinking Roamans is just for older ladies - they have really cute prints and solids now! I love all the sister stores except Lane Bryant, which is too pricey and their pants just don't fit me right. But overall, Roamans is the best for trendy clothes and awesome service. Believe me!
Wedding dresses purchase
I bought two dresses from this company for a wedding. One dress fit great and I really liked it, but the other one didn't fit right. I sent back the one that didn't fit, but I was really let down by the return process. Even though I followed all the company's return rules and sent the dress back for credit, I never got the credit I was supposed to. I talked to PayPal, showed them proof I sent the dress back, but I still didn't get my money back. It was a frustrating situation that made me feel like I was being lied to and left me disappointed.
Account error
I had a big problem with my account at the store. When I bought something, I saw another person's order info when I logged in. This is a big deal because privacy is important, especially now that everything is digital. I contacted customer service a few times, but they still haven't fixed the problem. Then I got a survey for someone else's email, which shows how careless the company is with customer info. It's not okay for a company to mess up like this, and I'm really upset that they're not taking this seriously.
Late delivery
My order from Roamans has been stuck in a warehouse for like a whole week with no new tracking updates. Customer service ain't been much help - they're saying I can't say it's lost until some date that doesn't even exist. This back and forth between Roamans and Pitney Bowes is really getting on my nerves. I went ahead and filed complaints with the BBB and I definitely won't be ordering from them again.
The shoes I ordered were the wrong color.
The shoes I ordered were supposed to be pink, but they came in blue! I mean, seriously? Why would they mess that up? Now I have to pay for shipping to send them back. I'm never ordering from them again. Plus, the invoice was missing the return address and charges! I had to call them to get that info. Not cool at all.
Express Shipping Disappointment
I just bought express shipping for an order I needed quickly, but turns out the shipping time was way off. I tried to cancel the order when I found out, but they said it was too late. This whole thing has really disappointed me and now I'm not sure I want to buy from them again. I'd suggest finding somewhere else to get your clothes to save yourself the hassle.
Jeans Purchase
I bought some jeans from this company and they were really the only thing I liked. But then I got a catalog in the mail and didn't realize that it was mostly for plus-sized clothes. I accidentally ordered a dress that was a 14W, and it looked like a sack on me because the fabric was so thick. On top of that, the bra I got was the wrong size and had a stain on it. I was really disappointed with all of this and now I'm not sure if I want to order from them again. I've decided to send back the stuff that I didn't like.
Leggings never received
I ordered some leggings back in December, but they never showed up. I reached out to customer service after waiting almost four months, and they told me it was too late for any changes because it was supposedly shipped out on Jan 28th. How was I supposed to know to call before the deadline when I was still waiting for the leggings? It's really frustrating and disappointing.
Tops purchase
I used to be a really loyal customer way back in the day when the quality and service were pretty good. But when I recently ordered some tops, I was super let down. The fabric, sewing, and overall construction were all just awful. And don't even get me started on their customer service - it was just as bad. It's like they don't even care about us customers anymore.
Blouse return and exchange
The customer service was not so great when I tried to return and exchange two shirts I bought. I gave back the items and asked for a smaller size, but they didn't follow through with the exchange. They also said they wouldn't give back the $10.99 I paid for shipping. I tried to fix the problem, but I didn't get much help and didn't hear much from them. I'm pretty disappointed by the service and how they handled the situation. Now, I'm thinking twice about buying anything else from them in the future.
