Outdoor gear purchase
I just bought some outdoor gear from this store and I gotta say, I was super disappointed with the whole thing. They added this "fuel" surcharge that made no sense at all - like, what's up with that? It's pretty crappy to think you're getting a great deal and then bam, surprise fee at checkout. That kind of sketchy move is a total deal-breaker for me and other folks who want things to be straightforward and honest. Long story short, I definitely won't be going back there to shop anytime soon.
Outdoor gear
This website is a total scam! So, I ordered some outdoor gear and got hit with a $400 charge out of the blue. But get this - I never even got the product! When I tried to talk to customer service, they were useless. Seriously, stay away from this site unless you're cool with getting ripped off of your cash.
Sig P322 Purchase
I bought the Sig P322 from this store not too long ago and man, let me tell you, I was super happy with how everything went down. The price was right, and I got my hands on it real quick, like lightning fast delivery. Seriously, couldn't be happier with what I got.
$300 scope purchase
I just bought a $300 scope and ran into a big problem with the delivery address. Even though FedEx hadn't picked up the package yet, the address they had was wrong. Customer support didn't really help me out with fixing the issue. Their unhelpful attitude made me feel really frustrated and disappointed with the service.
Bed frame purchase
I only got half of the bed frame at first. So, I reached out to customer service and they quickly sent me the missing piece for free. The bed is high quality and their customer service is excellent.
Military boots purchase
I recently ordered some military boots from this one store and let me tell you, they turned out to be total knock-offs! It was bad enough that I had to wait a whole month for my order to arrive, but then when it finally did, the boots had broken and missing pieces. I tried contacting Sportsman's Guide about it, but I didn't hear back from them at all. It's really disappointing to see a company behave in such a shady way and not care about their customers. So yeah, just a heads up to anyone thinking about buying from them - be careful!
Military surplus purchase
Quit your griping about Sportsman's Guide! I've bought plenty of military surplus from them and always been happy with what I got. The shipping is lightning fast, usually arriving by the next day, and the quality of the stuff is usually just like they said. And if not, you can return it hassle-free. Just don't bother looking for ammo there. The prices aren't the best, so be smart and browse sites like ammoseek for better deals from top online stores. Save yourself some cash and stress.
Cool boots
Man, I've been shopping at this store for as long as I can remember, and it never fails to impress. Just snagged these boots and they are seriously awesome. The quality is top-notch and they look amazing. And to top it off, they got here super quickly, which is always a bonus. Sportsman's Guide never lets me down, that's for sure.
Shotgun ammo purchase
I just ordered some shotgun ammo online for the first time, and man, was I surprised by how quick it got here! Placed my order on a Monday and had that ammo in my hands by Friday. Definitely a great first-time experience - I'll definitely be coming back for more shopping here.
Backordered product and membership issues
I ordered an item that was listed as out of stock, but I was told it would be available in a few weeks. At the same time, I decided to add a 3-month membership to my order to save some cash. But when I tried to use the membership perks, it wasn't showing up in my account. I figured maybe it hadn't been processed yet, so I waited patiently for my backordered item to come in. In January, I got an email saying my item was still not ready with a new shipping date. I kept checking on my order, only to find out in mid-February that they had actually canceled it without letting me know first. When I called customer service, they said they canceled it because I didn't respond to an email. I was shocked at the lack of communication. I had to reorder the product, but they didn't offer me any compensation for the inconvenience. The service rep wasn't helpful or willing to extend my membership to make up for the lost time.
Hunting gear purchase
I've been a loyal customer of this company for years now and let me tell you, their hunting gear selection is top-notch. Whenever I need something for my hunting trips, the first place I look is their site. Not only do they have a wide variety, but their customer service is amazing. I've had to return a few items before, and they always give me a shipping label without any issues. Unlike some other online retailers with super short return windows, SG really cares about their customers and making sure they're happy. I've even gotten return labels without even asking for them, just because I left a negative review for a product I wasn't satisfied with. Now that's what I call great customer service, folks.
Tactical Backpack
As a big fan of the great outdoors, I bought a tactical backpack from Sportsman's Guide not too long ago. When I got it in the mail, I was bummed out to see that it was a cheap knockoff from China. I wrote a review about it, telling the truth about what happened, only to have the company pull it down. It's really sad to see a reputable store like Sportsman's Guide start selling low-quality stuff from countries with iffy labor standards. I'd rather give my money to companies that care about putting out good products and sourcing ethically, so I'll be shopping somewhere else.
Tactical Riflescope
I just bought a Tactical Riflescope from Sportsman's Guide, but I ran into a big problem with the delivery. The customer service rep first tried to point fingers at the manufacturer and the shipping company, saying they couldn't meet a signature requirement. So now, the item is on its way back and I'm being told I have to make a new order. This whole situation, with nobody taking responsibility and not fixing things right away, has really let me down.

LSA oil purchase
I bought some LSA oil from this shop not too long ago, but I was pretty bummed out because it didn't live up to what was advertised. Pay in installment program
I just used the installment payment option from this company and it was awesome. Being able to break up the payments made it way easier for me to afford my purchase and I really liked how flexible it was. If you're looking for an easy payment plan, definitely give them a look!
Swing set missing piece
My swing set was missing a piece, so I gave customer service a call and they sent it out really fast! I got the missing part in just 2 days. The swing set is great, and I'm super happy with both the product and the customer service.
Men's XL jacket
I just picked up this Men's XL jacket from Sportsman's Guide, but man, they really messed up. They sent me a kid's size instead, which is a bummer after dropping over $100 on it. And to make matters worse, I had to pay to ship it back and they're keeping a chunk of my refund too. Not cool.
Wine Country Hunters Gourmet Choice Gift Basket
I recently bought the Wine Country Hunters Gourmet Choice Gift Basket from your site. Unfortunately, the stuff inside didn't match what was advertised. When I contacted Wine Country about it, they denied working with your company until I gave them proof of my purchase. Even then, they didn't want to deal with it and told me to talk to Sportsman's Guide. I was really let down by their lack of responsibility, so I gave them a 1-star review on the site, explaining what happened and showing pictures of the basket I got. I also reached out to Sportsman's Guide directly to let them know I wasn't happy with how things were handled. I've been a loyal customer of Sportsman's Guide for 10 years, but this experience has me thinking about ending my relationship with your company.
Outdoor rockers
I ordered 2 outdoor rockers and both were damaged when we opened the boxes. I sent them back, and sent several emails, never getting a response from any email. Called and spoke to someone, repeating what I said in the emails, the chairs are all chipped. When I finally received my refund, Sportsmans Guide charged me for shipping! Do not order from here, they are a joke!
