Subscription price increase and unethical refund policy
My subscription cost has gone up three times in the last few years, and that's really worrying to me. On top of that, the company took advantage of the COVID situation by limiting refunds to just 30 days, no matter what. That doesn't seem right to me, especially since the pandemic has hit a lot of businesses hard, mine included. So, I've made up my mind not to deal with this company anymore. There are plenty of other remote access choices out there that are way more affordable.
Subscription price increase
The company keeps jacking up my subscription price every year for the last 3 years, it's now over $4000! Trying to stop the auto-renewal was a disaster - couldn't cancel online, had to talk to customer service. I was on hold for 4 hours, only to get disconnected. Emailed support for help, but got no reply. Ended up having to tell my credit card company to stop the payments.
Subscription renewal issue
I just wanted to share my recent frustrating experience with this company's subscription renewal process. I thought I did everything right by canceling my account over the phone, but turns out my cancellation didn't go through and they auto-renewed my subscription without asking me. And to top it off, when I asked for a refund, they said no because of some renewal terms they claim I agreed to. Such a headache!
Overcharged despite canceling service
I cancelled my service more than a year ago and got a refund for the charges. But now, they went ahead and charged me again this year. It was a hassle to get that refund in the first place, and honestly, it was totally avoidable. If this company was in the UK, things would be different. They really need to get their act together.
Remote access software purchase
I've been using this remote access software for a good amount of time, and I gotta say, I'm pretty bummed about how they keep raising the prices. The basic stuff I need just isn't worth the high cost they keep jacking up. So I did some digging and found Splashtop.com. They offer the same features like user and group permissions, but at way less than half the price. Wish I had found them sooner because it's made my remote access a lot cheaper and smoother. It's annoying when a company just prices themselves out of the game, forcing customers like me to look for better options.
Remote access software
We've been using remote access software for a good while now in our small company that stretches out over half the state. This software has been a total game-changer for us, making it easy to fix problems quickly and efficiently. Difficulty with cancellation
It took me forever to get a response to cancel my service. I had to wait weeks for a reply to my ticket, and by that time, my renewal was coming up. They gave me a phone number to call to cancel, but I felt like I had no other choice than to use it. Even though they tried to convince me to stay, I finally spoke to someone who was able to help me cancel my service after being transferred multiple times.
Huge price increase
I've been working for this company for 5 years and I've had a bunch of computers hooked up to it. We were really surprised when they tried to hit us with a bill over $5000 instead of the usual $1900. Thankfully, we caught it and got our money back, but come on, that's just crazy! If you're into unexpected price increases, then go for it, but if not, I'd recommend looking somewhere else.
Microsoft software purchase
My experience buying the software was a total letdown. After I made the purchase, the confirmation emails kept disappearing from my inbox. It was really frustrating not getting any communication from the company about it. I ended up having to take pictures of the emails just to prove I bought it. Honestly, dealing with this company has been a headache and I definitely don't trust them now.
Cancelled subscription, slapped with unexpected bill
Can't find a contact number, the chat box isn't helping at all. What a waste of time!
Unauthorized ACH withdrawals
The company kept making ACH withdrawals from my account for two years even after I tried canceling my account three times. They not only charged me without asking but also didn't communicate properly about the payments. They sent invoices from an email address they said they didn't use, and the payment instructions were unclear about the ACH withdrawals. Plus, I never got any receipts after the withdrawals, which is against the law. It seems like the company is purposely being dishonest and knowingly doing these unauthorized transactions.
Contract billing issue
After I paid off my contract and asked them to close my account, the customer service was terrible. They ignored me and kept trying to charge me, even threatening legal action for a bill that was already paid. If this continues, I will not hesitate to get a lawyer. I suggest others stay away from this platform and go with something more reliable like Zoom to avoid all the hassle and wasted money. It's really disappointing how this turned out, especially for something as simple as closing out a bill.
Payment issue
I just wanted to take care of my bill, but let me tell you, calling customer service was a nightmare. They kept bouncing me around to different people who were clueless. It felt like I was talking to a robot following a script that made no sense. Such a waste of my time!
LogMeIn subscription
Man, this company just keeps raising their prices every year! You better watch out for your bills because they're going up like crazy. It's really annoying that they don't seem to care about making their customers happy, even after we reached out to complain before deciding to leave. There are plenty of other choices out there, so maybe it's time to consider switching. Hopefully, they'll realize that the high prices are pushing a lot of customers away who end up going back to the competition.
Annual renewal notice
Received our renewal notice and was shocked to see the price is almost doubling from last year! That's absolutely insane. Luckily, I found a cheaper option with the same service. So, we're saying goodbye to your crazy prices and lack of explanation for the sudden increase.
Canceling LogMeIn Services
I used to really like LogMeIn, but had to cancel because I found better options out there. When I tried to end my account, they told me I still had 8 months left on my contract and had to keep paying. I felt pretty ripped off and bummed that they couldn't be more flexible. Because of that, I can't recommend them to anyone needing remote access anymore.
Essential products
Remote access is a word of miracles.I have installed ..from LogMeIn..Space capacity up to one TB is quite good ,of course not enough.Recovery of files is also an fantastic feature.I understand this pain when loose hard worked stuff due to any mistakes.
Some times very unbearable.Removing this headache deserve some cost what they charge for.
Plus feature one can access stuff of computer or laptop or even mobiles remotely if it not near by due to any reason.
Concept work like booster.Someone can say same thing is also available partly in Google photos or drives where files can be kept but storage is limited.Recovery is not available there
So comparison is nonsense.A big storage offer under this software should be in every computer.
