Total Adblock subscription
I really thought this app was going to solve all my problems with ads, but man was I mistaken. Those 5-star reviews look totally fake (most likely made by a computer) and the real deal is in the lower ratings. I messed up by choosing to pay with PayPal for my subscription, and let me tell you, that turned into a total disaster. After three subscriptions, I was totally broke. The only upside is that saying no to cookies is free and gets rid of those annoying ads.
Blocking ads software
Oh wow, I was really struggling to figure out how to download and import things, but these tech support people were amazing and helped me out. They were super patient and walked me through everything until I finally understood. I think they deserve a gold star for being so helpful and patient.
Paid messaging app
I really like using the messaging app, but I'm kind of bummed that you have to pay to get rid of ads. I already spend money on my devices, accessories, and internet, so it seems like an extra expense that I'd rather not have. There are so many free messaging apps out there that do the same thing without making you pay extra. It's a shame because the app is really good, but the way they make you pay for it just doesn't sit right with me.
Ad blocker purchase
I was getting so annoyed with all the interruptions I kept getting while watching videos on YouTube and browsing online, so I finally caved and tried out an ad blocker. To be honest, I wasn't sure it would work, but I was really happy to see how well it actually did the job. The fact that it blocked so many ads has seriously improved my online experience. I tried using Total Adblock on my Samsung S21 phone, but it just didn't work like I hoped. I was pretty disappointed with how it performed because it couldn't block ads very well. I don't think I'll be telling anyone to try it out.
