bad experience
I had a terrible experience with them! They were using old stuff, moving slow, and not willing to work with me at all. On top of that, they were adding on all these hidden fees and making me sign up for long contracts without telling me. I put up with it for a while, but when they suddenly tried to charge me $1500 a month (when I usually pay $300), I was done! They claimed the regular rate is $2000 a month, which is just ridiculous for what they offer. Then they offered me a deal, but even $600 a month was way more than I wanted to pay.
E-commerce website function for product addition
I recently bought an e-commerce website template thinking it would be easy to add products, descriptions, and datasheets. Turns out, it wasn't as user-friendly as I hoped. If you're not a website design pro, it can be a real pain to figure out. I've had to contact tech support a bunch of times, but I have to admit they've been getting back to me quicker lately.
I also use Weebly for another project, and it's way easier to use with quicker tech support. When we transferred data over from our old site to Weebly, I splurged on a pricey $500 template that was recommended by a salesperson. It took about a year and a lot of phone calls to finally get the website looking and working the way I wanted it to.SEO limitations
Volusion has so many issues with SEO that they really need to work on. You know, one big problem is that they make you pay extra for SSL, which is like a major deal for SEO. Plus, they throw in all this random stuff on category pages that you can't even remove. And let's not even talk about their crazy URL structure. It's like they've never heard of organizing categories properly! That's like basic SEO knowledge! Honestly, they really need to get on fixing all of this right away!
Website design services
I gotta say, trying to work with a bunch of different folks on getting my website designed was a real headache, especially since I'm not so savvy when it comes to building websites. They kept pushing all these extra design services on me that should have been simple, but they made it all confusing by not being clear about what they were offering. When I tried to do it on my own, it didn't come out like I wanted. Plus, only being allowed one revision and one phone call just felt so limiting. It's been months now since I signed up, and my site still isn't even live.
Just bought stuff online
I just tried shopping online for some new clothes and man, it was a total nightmare. That website was a hot mess, and checking out felt like it took forever. And don't even get me started on the shipping delays and messed up orders. Nope, never doing that again!
Misleading pricing
I felt like I was tricked by the salesperson who said I'd only have to pay one price for everything, but when I looked into it, turns out I actually had to pay extra for some stuff. It was really disappointing and frustrating. I think I should get a refund for the setup fee because of the wrong info I was given.
Hard-to-use platform
Volusion is such a pain to get around. It's all clunky and confusing, and the bugs just make it even worse. Every time they add a new feature, it seems like the next update just messes it up. And instead of fixing it, they just leave it broken. Even simple stuff that's easy on other eCommerce sites turns into a total headache on Volusion. Like trying to resize images or add new ones - it shouldn't be so hard. But hey, I heard the original founders are back at Volusion now, so maybe things will start looking up.
Large e-commerce website
My experience with the e-commerce platform has been pretty good for the past four years. But, lately, I've noticed our site has been going down more often, even though we haven't made any changes on the back end. It's been a real headache because it's messing with our business. And to make matters worse, the loading times have been super slow, which is not good for our customers. Volusion says they can handle big websites, but the problems we've been having lately make me question that.
Online store hosting and merchant services
Just a heads up if you're considering signing up with this company - we started an online store back in 2014 and decided to go with their hosting and merchant services. But when we shut down our store in June 2018, we asked them to close our account. Turns out, they've been charging us $65 every month since July 2018 for merchant services we didn't even need anymore. Apparently, their merchant services come with a 3-year contract that renews every year automatically, and you have to email them to cancel. So be careful and make sure you read all the fine print before committing.
E-commerce platform experience
My experience with that e-commerce platform was not great. It was really limited and a lot of the connections just didn't work right. Because of that, we had problems where orders wouldn't go through, which was super annoying and cost us some sales. So we ended up moving to a different platform that fit what we needed a lot better.
"Free policy generator"
I needed a policy generator for free and I found this website. I made an account thinking I would get what they promised, but I was let down. They didn't have what I was looking for and I couldn't figure out how to delete my account. It was really frustrating.
eCommerce platform review
In the past five years, my experience with the eCommerce platform has been pretty disappointing. The platform just feels old and doesn't have some key features that are pretty standard in the industry. One big problem is that there's no way to have a blog on there, which makes it really hard to create interesting content for our customers. On top of that, there's no good app store, so we can't add useful tools to our online store.<br><br>Another thing that really bugs me is the new pricing - it's confusing and doesn't seem like a good deal for what you get. And the way the platform handles SEO is sketchy, with category pages that don't look professional and hurt our site's ranking in search engines. Plus, ever since the platform moved to Google, the website code and load times have gotten a lot worse, making it a pain for our customers to use.<br><br>The customer service folks try to help, but they just don't know enough about the technical side of the platform to really make a difference. Overall, it seems like Volusion is falling behind its competition and not listening to what customers like me have to say about how they can improve.
Ecommerce platform review
My experience with this ecommerce platform has been really disappointing. It used to be on top, but now it's just not the same. It feels old-fashioned and difficult to use, like they haven't put enough work into making it better. It's pretty obvious that the people in charge aren't really trying to make things better, which is making the whole thing worse for users like me. There's this feeling of not caring that you can sense all over the platform, and it's pretty sad to see how low it's gotten. If they want to keep up with the competition in ecommerce, they're gonna have to make some big changes, or things are just gonna keep going downhill.
Switched providers
I had to switch carriers because my old one was terrible. The prices were too high and there were so many problems. The tracking for shipments wasn't working right and payments were all messed up. Customers kept complaining. I finally made the switch to a new one, but they still charged me during the transition. Their customer service was awful and they seemed really outdated.
E-commerce platform feature limitations
I just found out that the online shopping platform I'm using doesn't let me send shipping/tracking emails to customers with Trustpilot blind copied. This is a big problem because I can only bcc Trustpilot on order confirmation emails, meaning we could get bad reviews for cancelled orders from scam sales. It's a real hassle having to do this manually, taking up a lot of time. I think we should switch to a different e-commerce platform with better features for us.
Online store purchase
Man, this online store has been a total disaster for me! I bought something and it all went downhill from there. Every time they try to update stuff, my site starts acting all crazy and messing up. And don't even get me started on their tech support - they don't even seem to care about trying to help. I'm so relieved I switched to a different platform, it feels like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders. Adios, old, outdated website!
E-commerce website creation
I recently bought an e-commerce website creation service and my experience with the service provider really let me down. The folks they recommended turned out to be total con artists - they not only didn't deliver on what they promised, but they also overcharged me for services that were seriously lacking. Even after going through the legal process and winning, the company's team showed zero empathy for what I'd been through. It was clear that promoting these shady practices was hurting their reputation big time. I would advise anyone looking to use their recommended service providers to do some serious research beforehand.
A normal shop
We as a company used Volusion few months back for web designing and social media marketing.
They are professionals but cost area is need to be redescribed.
Services and back team is appreciable.
