Antarctica trip experience
My trip to Antarctica was absolutely amazing! I can't even put into words how thankful I am for such an incredible experience. Everything from the awesome and friendly staff to the passionate scientists on board completely blew me away. As a 70-year-old who's been traveling for a long time, this trip to Antarctica was hands down the best thing I've ever done in my life. The staff was just fantastic, and the scientists' knowledge and enthusiasm were truly remarkable. As a solo traveler, it was so comforting to know there were no hidden fees and I was well taken care of throughout the whole journey. I'd definitely recommend choosing this company for an Antarctica trip. And let me tell you, the optional kayaking and camping on the ice overnight made the adventure even more thrilling. A huge thanks to all the staff on the quest for the Antarctic Circle for being so friendly, informative, and fun.
20-day India trip review
I just finished a 20-day tour in Rajasthan and Varanasi, India and let me tell you, it was amazing! Our guide was top-notch - super knowledgeable and passionate about the places we visited. Even though the accommodation was pretty basic, it was clean and did the job. We traveled using public transport like buses, trains, and sleeper trains, which worked out fine for us. Our guide made sure we were safe on the sleeper trains, even when we were in different cars. In Agra, during the Holi Festival, our guide really went the extra mile to find us a safe spot to enjoy the celebrations, even getting us hotel rooms to freshen up before our next adventure. Overall, the tour was well-planned and went off without a hitch. I'd definitely recommend this trip to anyone wanting to explore the wonders of Rajasthan and Varanasi.
Adventure trip to Vietnam and Cambodia
My recent trip to Vietnam and Cambodia was amazing! It was my first time going on an adventure like this, so I was a little nervous at the start. But my wife, her sister, and her husband convinced me to join them to celebrate our upcoming 60th birthdays. We planned our trip through a travel agent and chose a well-known travel company to guide us. We started our journey in Singapore, where we explored the city for three days before heading to Hanoi to meet our tour guide and group. We traveled through Vietnam using all kinds of transportation like buses, trains, and planes, stopping at famous places like Ha Long Bay and Hoi An. Along the way, we had so many incredible experiences, like feeling a train zoom past us on Train Street in Hanoi and having a delicious vegetarian brunch at a Monastery in Vietnam.
Mayan Encounter
I had the most amazing trip to Guatemala, Belize, and Mexico with this awesome travel company! It was 11 days of pure awesomeness. I went solo and it was my first time on a guided tour. Our guide, Ella, was fantastic! Everything was taken care of, the cultural and outdoor experiences were amazing, and we had just the right amount of free time. The group was really cool, we had a blast! The accommodations were perfect, I slept like a queen every night after our fun adventures. The highlights for me were exploring Tikal, snorkeling (even at night!), cave tubing, and biking on Caye Caulker. And seeing how the company supports great projects was the best part! I can't wait to travel with them again and decide on our next destination!
Egypt tour experience
I just got back from a trip to Egypt and let me tell you, our tour guide Alber Samuel was absolutely top-notch. He was super organized and always on time, not to mention friendly and really knew his stuff about Egypt. It made the whole tour so interesting and fun. The schedule was on point and we didn't miss a beat when it came to all the must-see spots. I felt totally taken care of the whole time.
Southeast Asia Tour
Our 29-day tour of Southeast Asia was absolutely incredible. From the minute we started our journey, we were blown away by the amazing service and attention to detail. Sovann, our tour guide, was so knowledgeable and made sure everything went off without a hitch. The activities we did were not only fun, but also taught us a lot about the culture and history of the places we visited. And the optional activities gave us the perfect mix of relaxation and excitement - we got to try cooking classes, bamboo weaving, kayaking, riding motorbikes, and biking. It was truly an unforgettable experience.
Highlights of Ireland tour
I recently went on the Highlights of Ireland tour in June and let me tell you, it was absolutely amazing! Our tour guide was fantastic, giving us great tips and recommendations the whole time. We saw beautiful landscapes, enjoyed lively music, and tried delicious local food every day. The itinerary was well-thought-out, letting us explore different places and really soak up the Irish culture. My favorite parts were the stunning Cliffs of Moher, the incredible Giant's Causeway, and the fun time we had as a group. My trip to Malaysia and Borneo last week was amazing! Our guide really knew their stuff and made sure we saw all the cool stuff. We got to check out some rad islands, see orangutans and sun bears, and dive into the awesome local culture. The schedule was on point, giving us just the right mix of adventure and chill time. If you're looking for a trip that's super special and eye-opening, this one's a winner!
Amazing trip
It was crazy cool going on my first tour! Man, South Africa and Victoria Falls for 12 days was out of this world. We saw so much cool stuff, stayed in amazing hotels, and went on the best tours. The local vibes were just awesome too!
Sailing trip experience
My recent sailing trip was a bit of a letdown. Even though sailing around the islands was alright, I was expecting more. The boat had a lot of maintenance issues that took away from the fun of the trip. The guide was organized, but didn't seem to know much about the wildlife in the area. A big bummer was that there weren't any info sheets on board to help us identify the fish and animals we saw. And I noticed the crew was more focused on selling stuff than making sure we had an awesome trip. As someone who's been a skipper, I wouldn't take this boat out myself because it's not good enough for these kinds of trips. But I gotta say, the chef on board was amazing and made delicious meals the whole journey.
