Antarctica trip experience
My trip to Antarctica was absolutely amazing! I can't even put into words how thankful I am for such an incredible experience. Everything from the awesome and friendly staff to the passionate scientists on board completely blew me away. As a 70-year-old who's been traveling for a long time, this trip to Antarctica was hands down the best thing I've ever done in my life. The staff was just fantastic, and the scientists' knowledge and enthusiasm were truly remarkable. As a solo traveler, it was so comforting to know there were no hidden fees and I was well taken care of throughout the whole journey. I'd definitely recommend choosing this company for an Antarctica trip. And let me tell you, the optional kayaking and camping on the ice overnight made the adventure even more thrilling. A huge thanks to all the staff on the quest for the Antarctic Circle for being so friendly, informative, and fun.
Inca Trail Trek
My trekking experience on the Inca Trail in March was absolutely amazing. The journey was so full of history, culture, and breathtaking views that I was left completely speechless. No words or pictures can truly capture the beauty and magnitude of this ancient trail. I was really impressed by the dedication and hard work of the Porters who carried heavy loads to make sure we were comfortable and safe on our trek. Their resilience and positive attitude were really inspiring. While I appreciate their efforts, I do think that lighter loads and walking poles could be beneficial for the Porters in the long term. I also want to thank our Guides Richie and Paulo, along with their team, for their constant support, motivation, and knowledge about the historical importance of the trail. Their passion for the culture and surroundings made this trek an unforgettable experience that I will always cherish.
20-day India trip review
I just finished a 20-day tour in Rajasthan and Varanasi, India and let me tell you, it was amazing! Our guide was top-notch - super knowledgeable and passionate about the places we visited. Even though the accommodation was pretty basic, it was clean and did the job. We traveled using public transport like buses, trains, and sleeper trains, which worked out fine for us. Our guide made sure we were safe on the sleeper trains, even when we were in different cars. In Agra, during the Holi Festival, our guide really went the extra mile to find us a safe spot to enjoy the celebrations, even getting us hotel rooms to freshen up before our next adventure. Overall, the tour was well-planned and went off without a hitch. I'd definitely recommend this trip to anyone wanting to explore the wonders of Rajasthan and Varanasi.
Adventure trip to Vietnam and Cambodia
My recent trip to Vietnam and Cambodia was amazing! It was my first time going on an adventure like this, so I was a little nervous at the start. But my wife, her sister, and her husband convinced me to join them to celebrate our upcoming 60th birthdays. We planned our trip through a travel agent and chose a well-known travel company to guide us. We started our journey in Singapore, where we explored the city for three days before heading to Hanoi to meet our tour guide and group. We traveled through Vietnam using all kinds of transportation like buses, trains, and planes, stopping at famous places like Ha Long Bay and Hoi An. Along the way, we had so many incredible experiences, like feeling a train zoom past us on Train Street in Hanoi and having a delicious vegetarian brunch at a Monastery in Vietnam.
Adventure travel experience
I had an amazing adventure travel trip recently that totally surpassed what I was expecting. The place we stayed at was top-notch, especially considering how affordable the package was. Our guide was super adaptable, making sure everyone, no matter their physical abilities, had a great time while also teaching us a ton about the local culture and history. The people in the group were all really friendly and made the whole experience even better. The only downside for me was feeling super tired after a long day of travel to get there.
Trip from Beijing to Mt. Fuji
I just got back from a trip I took from Beijing to Mt. Fuji with a tour group. The China part of the trip was really nice, mainly because our guide Howard was so great. Although they said there would only be 15 people on the tour, there were actually more, which made things crowded, especially on the small buses, especially for bigger folks like me. On the flip side, the Japan part of the trip was a letdown because our guide wasn't that good. The hotels and schedule for both parts of the trip were okay, but get ready to do a whole lot of walking, like that one day I hit 19,000 steps.
Mayan Encounter
I had the most amazing trip to Guatemala, Belize, and Mexico with this awesome travel company! It was 11 days of pure awesomeness. I went solo and it was my first time on a guided tour. Our guide, Ella, was fantastic! Everything was taken care of, the cultural and outdoor experiences were amazing, and we had just the right amount of free time. The group was really cool, we had a blast! The accommodations were perfect, I slept like a queen every night after our fun adventures. The highlights for me were exploring Tikal, snorkeling (even at night!), cave tubing, and biking on Caye Caulker. And seeing how the company supports great projects was the best part! I can't wait to travel with them again and decide on our next destination!
Highlights of Ireland tour
I recently went on the Highlights of Ireland tour in June and let me tell you, it was absolutely amazing! Our tour guide was fantastic, giving us great tips and recommendations the whole time. We saw beautiful landscapes, enjoyed lively music, and tried delicious local food every day. The itinerary was well-thought-out, letting us explore different places and really soak up the Irish culture. My favorite parts were the stunning Cliffs of Moher, the incredible Giant's Causeway, and the fun time we had as a group. I'm already thinking about my next trip, and Iceland is definitely on my radar. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants an unforgettable adventure.

Our guide, Budi, was amazing - super friendly, always there to help, and knew everything about the area. Our trip was packed with cool optional activities and stays in unique hotels, making every moment unforgettable. Going with G Adventures was hands down the best choice we could have made. It was totally worth the money, and having other solo travelers in our group made it feel like a fun and welcoming experience. I'd definitely suggest G Adventures to anyone looking for a travel adventure that's anything but ordinary.
Money bag trip in India and Nepal
While I was traveling in India and Nepal recently, I noticed that our CEO was pretty informed and helpful when answering questions, but they seemed to lack a deeper understanding of the culture and daily life, especially in Nepal. Also, their approach to tipping wasn't quite on point. It felt awkward and unnecessary to not join in on the tipping pool and to be pushed to tip a certain amount in both countries. It felt like we were being forced to give a set amount, which isn't how tipping is supposed to be.
Trip around South East Asia
I had such an incredible time on my recent trip to South East Asia. The schedule was planned out really well, giving us a great mix of exploring different cultures and having fun. Our guide, Ratha Van, was so knowledgeable and really added to the whole experience. I wish I could go back and do it all over again, it was that good. Also, I was really impressed by how the company helped out and donated to small communities, making a difference for families and children in need. I would definitely recommend this trip to anyone looking for an awesome and meaningful travel experience.
Peru trip awesome
Oh my gosh, our trip to Peru was amazing! We saw a ton of the country and did some really cool things like cooking classes and boat tours. The hotels were super nice and I loved that we had free breakfast every morning. Huge shoutout to Mary Chu, she was the best CEO ever!

Our Southeast Asia Tour was amazing! The service and attention to detail from our CEO really stood out. They were so knowledgeable and enthusiastic, which made the trip educational and fun. Booking was easy and communication with the company was quick. We can't wait to book another tour in the future!
Six fun trips
I've been on six trips and they were all a blast! The tour guides were really cool and I enjoyed how they involved the local people. Sometimes you might not click with everyone in your group, but that's fine because you can just hang out with the ones you do. I really think G is great if you're looking for a fun place to stay and have some real adventures with a small group. I visited the Baltics with nine friends and it was awesome. I also traveled to Jordan and Turkey in 2023 and had a fantastic time. I'm already looking forward to my next trip next year!
Egypt tour experience
I just got back from a trip to Egypt and let me tell you, our tour guide Alber Samuel was absolutely top-notch. He was super organized and always on time, not to mention friendly and really knew his stuff about Egypt. It made the whole tour so interesting and fun. The schedule was on point and we didn't miss a beat when it came to all the must-see spots. I felt totally taken care of the whole time.
National Geographic trip from South Africa To Victoria Falls
Man, this trip was seriously amazing! The safaris we went on were incredible, especially the ones in Karongwe. Our guide, Evans, and tracker, Sunti, showed us so many cool animals up close. We saw elephants, cheetahs, lions, and even lion cubs - it was nuts! The group leaders were great, Chris was the best. The only downside was all the pressure to tip, it caught us off guard. But overall, this trip was epic! Cape Town was beautiful and Victoria Falls were breathtaking. I would definitely do another trip like this in a heartbeat!
3 tours with group
I took three tours with them. The trip to India was awesome because we visited some amazing places in Rajasthan with a really great guide. But the tours to Cambodia and Laos weren't so great. They stick you with a group that's already close-knit, and it's too expensive for a budget-friendly country like Laos. I recommend going with them for more challenging destinations instead!
Southeast Asia Tour
Our 29-day tour of Southeast Asia was absolutely incredible. From the minute we started our journey, we were blown away by the amazing service and attention to detail. Sovann, our tour guide, was so knowledgeable and made sure everything went off without a hitch. The activities we did were not only fun, but also taught us a lot about the culture and history of the places we visited. And the optional activities gave us the perfect mix of relaxation and excitement - we got to try cooking classes, bamboo weaving, kayaking, riding motorbikes, and biking. It was truly an unforgettable experience.
