Business travel stay
I love staying at this hotel when I travel for work. The staff goes above and beyond with their customer service. When I arrive, they greet me warmly and professionally. I even had a welcome message on my mirror once, which made me feel really special. Shoutout to Debbie for always treating me like a VIP!
The breakfast here is fantastic - so many choices and perfect for fueling up before a busy day. The rooms are always quiet and cozy, with everything I need for a successful trip.

I recently reached out to the Guest Service Team at the hotel to help me book a room for my elderly mother who was traveling abroad. The team, with Jessie Fisher, Eric Einschütz, and Yannick Fournell, really went above and beyond to assist me with the booking process. Since my mother doesn't have a credit card, I had to use mine to make the reservation. The booking got tricky because it was connected to a court appointment that kept getting rescheduled before finally being called off. Despite all these changes, the hotel team stayed patient and helpful, making adjustments to the booking as needed and even helping me get a refund when the appointment was cancelled.
New Year's Eve celebration
Wow, what an amazing New Year's Eve celebration! The pre-drinks and appetizers were so good, and the four-course meal had such a variety of choices. The staff was so helpful with any dietary needs or allergies we had, which was awesome. The DJ played awesome music that had everyone dancing all night. The late-night snacks were a great idea to keep us going on the dance floor. I'm already looking forward to booking for next year! A huge thank you to John and the whole team for hosting us so well. Can't wait to come back!
Recent stay experience
While I was at the hotel not too long ago, I gotta say, I was really impressed by the customer service from Jordan and Kate at the front desk. They were quick to help, great at communicating, and always ready to assist. Jordan and Kate were so polite, attentive, and professional when dealing with me. It was clear they really cared about making sure I was taken care of and had a good time at the hotel. I've been coming here for a while now, and I have to give props to Jordan and Kate for being such valuable members of the team.
Hotel stay experience
My hotel stay was not great because the people at the front desk were really unfriendly and unprofessional. They seemed like they didn't care about my needs as a guest. It was really frustrating and made me feel unwelcome the whole time. Good customer service is super important in the hospitality industry, but it was definitely missing during my stay.
Online reservation mishap
I made a reservation online and paid in advance, but when I got to the front desk, I was charged again! The staff there seemed like they had no idea what was going on and were not helpful at all. They couldn't fix the problem and didn't even pick up the phone when I called for help. The whole booking experience was a mess - some staff were nice, but others were just plain clueless. The service was all over the place, to put it lightly. I would recommend avoiding this place at all costs.
Stay at Titchfield
The service at this place is amazing. As soon as I walked in, the reception staff gave me a friendly welcome. The bar and restaurant staff were so attentive and nice, making sure I had everything I needed during my stay. I was really impressed with how consistent the service was, which isn't always easy to come by in the hospitality industry. I want to give a huge shoutout to Lucy Smith for really going the extra mile to make sure my stay was cozy and fun. Thanks to everyone on the staff for their exceptional service.
Stayed for 5 days over Christmas
My first time staying at a hotel near an airport was awesome! The hotel had such a chill vibe, even with planes zooming by. I was with a group and the hotel staff really took care of us - they were so friendly and helpful. Everything was spotless, and you could tell the staff really looked out for the guests, especially those with disabilities. Big shoutout to all the staff for being totally awesome!
Regular guest experience
I've been to this hotel a bunch of times and you know what? It's not the swankiest spot around, but let me tell you - the staff there always know how to make me feel right at home. They handle tricky situations like a pro, especially this one guy named Elliot who made dealing with a tough situation look like a piece of cake.
Stay at a hotel on Bath Road
I stay at this hotel on Bath Road a lot and it's always a good place to stay. The staff there are really great and always make sure I have everything I need. I gotta give a shoutout to Umuir at the front desk, he really made me feel like a valued customer. And the folks in the restaurant always give top-notch service too.
Travel booking mishap
I had a rough time with a popular hotel chain on my recent trip to Munich. I had everything booked: game tickets, flights, and a suite to watch a football match. But, my flights got canceled, so I had to cancel my hotel reservation too. Even though I canceled five days before, the hotel still charged me the full amount for the room. IHG told me I booked an advanced rate, but that wasn't clear when I made the reservation. I'm a regular at hotels in the UK and around the world, so I was surprised by how inflexible and unsympathetic the hotel chain was. They didn't offer me credit or other nights, and their decision seemed final. I left feeling really frustrated and let down by the service.
Good breakfast
The service at this hotel was great, Karen gave me a really nice welcome and the breakfast was always tasty. I loved how they paid attention to the little things and made the atmosphere so friendly.
Hotel stay at airport location
Our stay at the hotel by the airport was kind of a letdown, to be honest. The location was good, and the food was tasty. The hotel was clean enough, but there were some pretty big issues that made the whole experience not so great. The air conditioning crapped out on the hottest day of the year, and it was too late for maintenance to come fix it, so we were stuck sweating all night. The room only had a fan, and with the windows not opening, it didn't do much to cool us down. On top of that, the TV didn't work no matter how many times we tried to reset it, so we were pretty bored in the room.
Overnight stay at a Miami hotel
I stayed at a place in Miami recently and it was not great. The room had old, moldy furniture and the windows were blocked. The lobby was nice, but the room was not up to par. I wouldn't recommend staying there. My overall experience was disappointing.
Bug-infested hotel room
During my last stay at a hotel, man, I was so let down and grossed out. When I got to my room at the Holiday Inn Fareham, everything seemed fine at first. But the next day when I went to shower, oh my goodness, I saw silverfish bugs all over the bathroom, on the floor, and even in the bathtub. It was so disgusting and scary, it really shook me up. The room was in such bad shape, it was clear they needed to fumigate right away.

Stayed at hotel in Concord
I recently stayed at a hotel in Concord, NC that I booked through an online agent. Unfortunately, there was some construction going on during our stay that I wish had been mentioned beforehand. When I brought up the noise from the construction affecting my work, the manager didn't seem too concerned. The breakfast choices were pretty limited, especially for people with dietary restrictions like myself. To top it off, we discovered some bugs in our room and had to switch to a different one, but we didn't receive any kind of compensation for the inconvenience. The room we ended up in had some maintenance issues, like a toilet that wouldn't stop running and a fan that was really loud. The staff working in the evenings were helpful, but the manager wasn't very accommodating.
Stay at hotel
My stay at the hotel wasn't as nice as I was expecting. When I checked in, I was bummed to see that my room had a connecting door to other guests, making it noisy and not very cozy. I was hoping for more privacy and would have been happier if I had known or been able to pick a different room. The room itself was just okay, didn't have much to offer in terms of nice extras, and the shower head looked rusty, which isn't great for anyone worried about cleanliness.
Premium room at a supposed four-star hotel
I stayed at a hotel not long ago and decided to reserve a "premium" room, hoping for a really nice experience. Turns out, it was pretty disappointing. That room was definitely not what I would call premium - more like a run-of-the-mill two-star place. I found a bunch of problems with that room, like at least 14 things that were off. It just wasn't as clean or well-equipped as I would expect from a four-star hotel. It was a real bummer, and I really hope the hotel pays attention to my feedback and steps up their game.
