    DO NOT NOOK WITH ROOMDI

    Do NOT make the same mistake I did and book with Roomdi! What a headache this has been. I travel frequently for business and I'd booked a room for a meeting in Miami. Unfortunately, we have a category 4 hurricane Ian soon to be impacting FL and we had to postpone our meeting. Roomdi chat was a joke and I also was unsuccessful in getting anyone on the phone, this has been incredibly frustrating. At check out, it appears that you will be penalized a cancelation fee if canceled within certain time frames, yet is extremely misleading. Basically, regardless you will be charged nearly the entire amount. It appeared at checkout I’d receive my entire booking back like other booking companies if canceled within the timeframe, but was not the case. The hotel has never heard of this company before. They are a UK company and do not recommend them. They responded back to an email that the booking is nonrefundable nor unable to be modified. Could not get any other communication. If I could leave no stars, I would!

    2 night hotel stay in kissimmee fl

    Terrible customer service. I feel like I was ripped off for $113. I booked a room on July 4th for 2 nights in Kissimmee for my daughters birthday. The room was for 7/6/21-7/8/21. I paid for the reservation and received my confirmation moments later. I looked at the dates and it said 6/7/21-8/7/21. Well seeing how this company is advertising in the united states, where I live , how was I supposed to know #1 that they are based out of Spain and #2 that the way the dates appeared on my confirmation would be "European style"? Immediately when I saw the dates I tried finding a way to talk to someone, live chat, phone number, nothing. So I cancelled right away thinking that this company has booked me for the wrong dates and being how I was to travel in 2 days, I needed to reserve this hotel through another company. Which is what I did. I never thought I would have an issue getting my money back from roomdi, since I was showing incorrect dates. Well boy was I wrong, they are refusing to give my money back stating that the room was never booked for the wrong dates, it was just written the European way. But it took them until yesterday, July 24, to tell me that is why I cant get refund. I have been emailing roomdi since July 4. Maybe they should put a warning notice up when dealing with Americans that they write their dates day, month, year, instead of how we do it month, day, year. I WILL NEVER BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY AGAIN and I will warn anyone I know to stay away from them. It may only be $113 I lost, but I am a single mother who didn't have $113 to just throw away!

    I understand exactly what you went through, they had my dates wrong as well, that is what I believed as soon as i received my confirmation. I cancelled immediately and they tell me almost a month later that the dates were correct and they wrote the dates "European style" , I am American and I live in the U.S so how the hell was i supposed to know that 6/7/21-8/7/21 is the same as July 6-8. ? they should let people know, especially if dealing with Americans, that they will use the European style.

    2 nights at Disney Dolphin Hotel

    Because of COVID-19 restrictions, the hotel was closed for our original booking date. I was unable to modify or cancel my reservation before the regular deadline as Roomdi would not answer the phone, reply to email, and the website buttons didn't work when clicked. My card has been charged but Disney has not charged Roomdi's account, so Roomdi has stolen my money. I've seen countless other similar complaints, even before Covid. STAY FAR AWAY! I've reported to my bank and to Disney.
