Expatriate health insurance in China
My experience with expat health insurance in China was really disappointing. Unlike other companies, you can't do direct billing at major clinics. You have to pay upfront and then deal with reimbursement later on. The whole process is a hassle. I submitted my invoices and got an automatic response saying they would process my claim soon, but weeks passed with no updates. It was frustrating to keep getting the same automated reply. Even messaging on WhatsApp didn't help - the clerk would read my messages but never respond. I wish I had checked reviews before signing up for this insurance.
