Support, especially a rep called Charis, was straightforward and kept me updated; they arranged a replacement.     Heavy but not a disaster

    Right after I opened the jar I felt that familiar "uh-oh"—I'd skimmed the mixed reviews and almost skipped buying it. I tried it the morning after a hot shower; the stuff looks creamy and rich. My worry about flaking disappeared (no flakes), and it actually calmed the stubborn frizz — so that was a relief. On the downside my hair did get a bit flat and weighed down. Happy I gave it a shot, but it’s not a miracle.

    Good cream, bad pump

    I like the cream, but the packaging made it more annoying than it needed to be. I bought the large Almost Everything (pump) and paid a lot, but the pump barely moved — the stuff's too thick for that nozzle. Customer service told me to keep it at room temp and pry off the pump end to push product up (helpful, right?). I've had tubs from other brands that work. Not ruined — the formula's nice — but please switch to a jar so I don't have to dig with a spatula for £60.

    Sink Stayed Dry, Hair Didn't

    I half-expected my bathroom sink to be slick when I opened this jar. I'd tried so many fixes after bleaching my hair—flat, crunchy, blah—that I almost gave up. At first I thought, "here we go again"—a greasy coat, limp ends. But a few days in I ran my fingers through my hair and it actually bounced. Like, real movement. Not heavy, not straw, not a miracle, just... happy hair. That’s the exact moment I relaxed.

    Pumped-away packaging problem

    great cream, terrible packaging. The large size comes with a pump that barely moves — the formula is just too thick for that nozzle and would work much better in a tub like the smaller version. I paid about £60 and expected to be able to use every bit; instead customer service suggested keeping it at room temp and popping off the pump to shove product up, which felt like a clumsy, last-resort fix. The cream itself is solid and I’ve had worse packaging from other brands, but this needs a proper redesign.

    their customer service is the reason I'll buy again. I actually got an empty box once — yep, nothing inside — and was ready to sigh, but Charis at Hershesons took over and fixed it fast. She sounded real, didn’t use canned lines, arranged a replacement the next day and even chased Royal Mail so I didn't have to deal with the headache. It felt like she took the problem off my shoulders. The products themselves seem fine (haven’t had any other issues) and the team is clearly competent. Wish they'd tighten up shipping checks so no one else opens an empty box, but if something goes wrong, you're in good hands.

    replacement sent the next day, and she's even chasing Royal Mail to find out where the original went. She took it off my plate, called me back, was patient, all that. Delivery ended up fine, customer service was the star. Not perfect at first, but they fixed it fast. Would recommend — saved my sanity, honestly, and I sleep better.

    I like the Almost Everything Cream — honestly it’s one of the few things that actually works for me — but getting it on a repeat schedule has been a mess. First the site just said the subscription feature was “not working,” support confirmed that and then…crickets. After a few weeks they replied no more, then at some point the button came back but now checkout says “shipping is not available” to my address in North London. So yeah, product is fine, I’d happily subscribe, especially now that the bottle got smaller (50ml to 30ml) but the price didn’t change — not great. I’ve dealt with faster fixes at other brands, so this service lag stands out. Want to keep buying, but delivery and support need to be sorted first.

    Almost everything cream purchase

    I bought the Almost Everything cream from this store in June for the first time, and I gotta say, the container was completely useless. I couldn't get the product out no matter how much I tried, so I ended up cutting the top off to get to the cream. What a packaging fail! As for the cream, it's just okay - nothing special. I don't get why everyone's raving about it.

    Hershesons hairdryer

    Hershesons really needs to take a look at their delivery service, especially with DPD. My expensive hairdryer, costing me £295, was delivered to the wrong person and now it's just gone. Both Hershesons and DPD haven't been very helpful in trying to fix the problem, and now I'm out of money with no solution in sight. I've been going back and forth with them, only to be told there's nothing else they can do. DPD's sloppy delivery practices are at fault here, but Hershesons really needs to step it up and make sure their delivery process is better for expensive items like mine. I definitely won't be buying from them again.

    I can't believe I got scammed like that. I paid for next day delivery and ended up waiting for days with no word from customer service. It's like they took my money and just disappeared. How can a company charge for stuff they can't even deliver? It's not right and I won't be making that mistake again. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place.

    I recently got a new hairdryer from this company and was really excited for it to come in. But when I finally tried it out, I was a bit disappointed. The hairdryer was unique and lightweight, which I liked. But I had some issues with it. The lowest heat setting was way too hot, so I had to keep switching to the cool shot button to prevent my hair from getting fried. Also, the heat made my hair smoke, and the dryer would randomly shut off while I was using it. Even though I followed the cleaning instructions, the performance just wasn't up to par. And for $295, I expected it to work better.

    I bought a dispenser from this store recently and I'm really unhappy with how it works. I tried several times but couldn't get anything to come out of the container. It's really disappointing and frustrating because I thought it would be a good product. I'm going to tell my friends to avoid this item and look for something else.     Blow dry at Selfridges

    I went to this one store for a blow dry, and man was I disappointed with the staff. They didn't seem too interested or excited to help me out. All they really cared about was getting my card info, instead of making it a nice experience for me. It felt kind of weird to have my card details saved before even getting the service. The blow dry itself was alright, but the whole thing just didn't feel right. I paid a good amount of money and was hoping for some extra TLC. Hershesons, you guys should definitely step up your customer service game - it's not just about the blow dry!

    Overpriced hair styling product

    This product is such a rip-off. I tried shaking it like crazy and pressing the nozzle with all my might, but I only get a sad little spritz of foam that just turns to liquid in no time.     Hair styling product

    I was super frustrated with my experience at that salon. I bought a hair styling product and tried pumping the container like it said, but nothing happened. I mean, it's hot where I live, so the excuse of it being too cold didn't make sense. I couldn't help but think maybe I was missing some magic trick or something. When I got in touch with customer service for help, their response was just plain unhelpful. Honestly, it was a total letdown.

    Air dry spray with Everything cream

    I saw those air dry spray and Everything cream on TV and thought I'd give them a shot. But man, they were such a letdown. My hair ended up all greasy and feeling like straw after using them, so I had to wash it all over again with my usual shampoo. And to top it off, I keep getting all these annoying sales emails from the company now, so I just blocked them.
