Sleep training monitor
As a parent who bought this device to help with sleep training my 1-year-old, I have been really impressed with how well it works. Being able to connect to my phone and get notifications for movement and sound has been a game-changer for me since I'm hard of hearing. It gives me peace of mind knowing I can keep an eye on my child even if I can't hear him right away when he wakes up at night. This device has definitely made my sleep training journey much easier. The only downsides are that the night vision could be better - it's hard to see sometimes in the dark. Also, there have been a few times when the device disconnects and needs to be reset, which can be frustrating in the middle of the night.
Nursery Pal Premium Camera
I've been using the Nursery Pal Premium Camera for a year now and it's been working really well. What I like most is that I can easily move the camera around, get notifications when there's movement, and even get 30-second videos for free. It's cool that I can keep the videos I want and they all automatically get erased at midnight. I have had some trouble with the camera going offline, but I think it's more likely my internet connection's fault rather than the camera itself. The sound quality is good on both ends, and overall, it gets the job done. Even though I use it to keep an eye on my cat instead of a baby, I'm still super happy with how it's been working out.
Safety monitors
These monitors are amazing! One time my little cousin almost went in the pool and the monitor beeped like crazy. I flew out there and rescued him just in time. Now I bring it everywhere, even to the trampoline. My mom thinks it's like having a backup set of eyes. The video is crystal clear, especially at night. It records all the sounds and movements too. I feel a lot safer knowing I can keep an eye on things around the house.
Surveillance camera purchase
The surveillance camera I bought was actually pretty good. The app is easy to use on a tablet for a bigger screen and clearer image, especially since the battery stopped charging after about 16 months. Sometimes it has trouble connecting, but overall, the camera does its job. I haven't even tried out all the sound features with stories and songs yet, but so far, I'm giving it a solid two thumbs up.
Baby monitor purchase
The reason I chose this baby monitor was mainly because of the breathing and activity insights it gives to help parents develop routines and feel calmer. But I'm worried about how stable and quick it connects to my phone. At home, I already have web-enabled cameras, and it's frustrating to deal with that 5-10 second delay when connecting.
Nursery Pal Double Camera Monitor
No problems at all with the monitor and double camera! Sometimes I have to reset it for the phone to connect, but the monitor itself always works perfectly. I would definitely purchase it again and recommend it for monitoring two rooms.
Home security camera
I've been using a home security camera for about a year now, and I gotta say, it's been pretty good overall. The camera links up with my phone, so I can keep an eye on things from a distance, which is super handy. But, I've noticed that sometimes it randomly disconnects from the network, and that bugs me 'cause then I can't rely on it. Also, the night vision isn't the best - you gotta have the camera real close to whatever you're trying to see in the dark to get a clear picture. Even with these issues, I still think this camera is better than others I've tried before, so I'd recommend it.
Home security camera system
The home security camera system is kind of just okay, I guess. The movements are a little choppy and slow to move around, and the baby monitor thing seems a bit top-heavy, but it does stay balanced. The actual camera works okay, but I keep getting annoying emails asking me to sign up for their premium service and almost every cool feature on the app is locked behind a paywall. It's not great to spend a good chunk of money on the device only to constantly be asked for more money to access basic stuff.
