    Best cold weather hunting gear

    Sitka Gear might cost a little more, but let me tell you, it's totally worth it. Their clothes are made for specific kinds of hunting, so they're really specialized and get the job done well. Right now, I'm getting a pair of pants fixed under warranty, and the customer service has been super helpful every step of the way. I've tried gear from a bunch of other brands, but Sitka is definitely the best I've ever tried. Trust me on this review - it's based on my own experience after using their stuff for years out in the field.

    Sitka Delta Zip Waders

    These guys go above and beyond!!! Even with this pandemic going on they are on top of things. They respond in a timely manner to emails with questions I may have and always have a great attitude as well. I can feel the smile through the email or the phone when I call. Keep up the great work!! Employees like these make lifetime customers like Me!! God Bless The USA!!!!!

    Delta Zip Waders

    The finest waders I've ever owned in the past 45 years. Got a small tear in the boot area last December. Sent them in for repair in June this year. Got them back in 9 weeks with new boots. Their customer service department is the best in the outdoor industry!!

    Sitka Gear has some really awesome stuff for people who love the outdoors, like me. But, I do wish they had more options, especially for hunting gear. It can be kind of annoying when I can't find everything I'm looking for in one spot.

    The camo patterns on those jackets are really cool, and they're super warm too. Plus, I find the outfit building feature really handy. But man, the customer service and return policies totally suck. The fees, processing time, and delays are so annoying to deal with. You can't even cancel an order right after you place it. It's such a bummer that such a good product is held back by their old-school practices.

    Hooded hunting jacket

    You've got to be kidding me with these prices! $569.00 for a hooded hunting jacket is just insane. It's totally unreasonable to ask people to fork over that much cash for one piece of clothing. I don't care how good it is or what name is stitched on it, it's just not worth it. When I saw that price, I was floored and I won't stand for being ripped off like that.

    Customer service is a nightmare. Make sure you order the right item and size!
    Likely will miss the hunting season waiting on the return IF they answer, reply, or send you the return.

    Kelvin down jacket

    Wore it one time. Put it in my hunting vest and when I removed it I discovered a tear in the fabric. I returned it as it was clear the fabric was defective. Rather than replace the jacket they returned it with an iron on patch and a patch kit. I will never purchase a Sitka product again. I will stay with First Lite. At least they honor their warranty.

    Very disappointed with customer service i ordered the fanatics bibs they sent wrong size talked to 2 different people basically same thing return it so I'm out my time gas and to them no big deal basically both guys couldn't wait to get off the phone now I wasn't yelling or anything like that I just asked maybe future I might get a little discount for my time and money nope we don't do that if you want your money back or the product was there answer nothing else basically people want our product no big deal if you are not satisfied won't get me again returning my stuff

    downpour jacket

    Bought a new jacket and used it a few times in misty conditions. Stayed dry. Never exposed jacket to any hard use and it is in mint conditions. Sat in a stand during 2021 spring gobbler season during a downpour. Within one hour I was getting wet in many locations. Ended up soaked. Returned jacket for evaluation and was given an option to repair pinholes and recoat. Not paying for manufacturing defect.

    Kelvin down jacket

    At first I really liked the jacket. Called it a "mountain hug" . I was soon disappointed. It is extremely prone to rips and tears. Duct tape is a must. It is not intended as a outer layer. Why is it camouflage? At a cost of 400 bucks, I would buy a much cheaper down jacket and spend the money on a good outer shell.

    My Sitka Gear gloves and the lack of service response would rate 0 out of 5 stars.
    The seams split in exactly the same place on both gloves. I was happy with the fit up until that point. Not too snug or loose. The perfect size for me.
    I filled out the online warranty form, received notification via email that it had been received, was given a RA# (whatever that is) and told that I would receive a prepaid shipping label within 24-48 hours via email. That was on Oct. 23rd. Nothing came through.
    On Oct. 27 I received an email that my warranty claim had been resolved. What the ..?? Wow! The date today is Nov. 12. I Tried to call immediately. Try it yourself, you will be put on hold for the next available representative. That will never happen. I have stayed on the line as long as 1 hr 30 min. And no-one ever answered.
    After each “hold” I finally pressed the number to leave a message. I was able to the first time I used it. The next three times the voice message box was full and the message said they would not be accepting voice messages until they had cleared the backlog of previous messages...Really?!!
    I have emailed the customer service team twice and have received no response.
    My advice is do not patronize this company. They are not serious about the warranty on their products. There are other really excellent hunting clothing manufacturers out there who are responsive to their customers. You deserve prompt resolution to warranty issues on expensive items. From my experience you will not receive that with Sitka Gear....just sayin!
