the stuff isn’t flashy but it works for my skin, texture and smell are fine, no drama. There are a bunch of add-ons pushed during checkout (cleanser, serum, SPF) so budget that in. My doubts about whether the product would suit me have eased — I’m actually glad I gave it a shot — though the ordering process could be smoother and less salesy.
Small swap, big difference
this actually did the job for me, after being pretty doubtful. I needed something because I got acne during lockdown at 21 and it only got worse — tried roaccutane in 2021 but had to stop early because my eyesight went funny (no fun). By mid-2024 the breakouts were back and I figured, why not give Skin and Me a real go. It took a frustrating 2–3 months to purge (yes, purge — I cursed it, I cried a bit, I complained), and then, slowly, things calmed down. Since late 2024 my skin’s been consistently better. I eat a fairly low-processed diet, my skincare is embarrassingly basic (cleanser, Skin and Me, hyaluronic, moisturizer) and that’s it — no magic routine, just this. It is pricey and I’ve toyed with stopping more than once because, well, money, but whenever I pause for a few weeks the congestion creeps back. So yeah, skeptical at first, pleasantly surprised now. If you’re thinking of trying, give it around three months and keep everything else steady — could be worth it, could save you from nightly mirror lectures.
