Completed studies, missing certificates
My daughters actually finished up their studies a while back, but we've been having a tough time trying to get their certificates from this place. We've called, emailed, and even tried reaching out on different platforms, but it feels like nobody there is willing to lend us a hand. It's super frustrating when you're in dire need of those certificates for job applications or further studies, but the institute just seems to be ignoring our pleas. It's like they were all about taking our money each month, but now that we could use some help, they're nowhere to be seen.
Online course registration
As someone wanting to take an online course, I was really frustrated that I couldn't find any info on how much the courses cost upfront. It's important for us as customers to know the fees before we decide to enroll, and not having that information easily accessible is not cool. Without knowing how much it'll cost, I can't go ahead with signing up. It's kind of a letdown that they don't have this basic customer service stuff sorted out, because it's stopping me from making a smart choice.
Certificate delay
I just finished a course with them and it's taking forever to get my certificate. I've tried reaching out to their customer service multiple times, but all I get are slow responses and meaningless apologies. Dealing with a company that can't get their act together and keep communication flowing is beyond frustrating.
Overpriced university courses
Don't bother spending your money on courses from big universities like MIT or Oxford. They're not really worth it, and you can usually find the same stuff for free on other websites. Plus, their customer service stinks and they're just in it for the cash. These courses are basically a money-making scheme, so you should be cautious and really consider if they're worth the hefty price tag.
Sustainability course enrollment
As someone who signed up for an online sustainability course, I gotta say I was pretty bummed about how it all went down. I was really looking forward to learning some top-notch stuff from a legit place like GetSmarter Oxford University. But man, was I let down when I found out the course material was old news and sometimes just plain wrong. It was a tough call, but I ended up pulling the plug on my enrollment.
Quick videos only
These videos are so short and seriously not helpful at all. There aren't even real teachers in them, just random tutors who make things complicated if you try to get a refund. What a total rip-off!
Certificate not received
I ordered my certificate a whole year ago and I'm still waiting for it! I even requested a digital copy, but they completely ignored me. They keep claiming they shipped it back in May of 2023, but I have yet to lay eyes on it anywhere!
AI course completion
The MIT AI course had some good stuff from the professors, but it really missed the mark when it came to personal interaction because there were just too many students. Plus, the platform wasn't very easy to use, the assignments took forever to get back, and some of the readings were outdated. Honestly, I wouldn't suggest taking this course because there's no clear syllabus and the platform has a lot of problems.
Online AI course
I was pretty disappointed with my experience at Get Smarter. I signed up for an online AI course, but the level of support I got was really lacking. They didn't do a good job of keeping me informed about important dates and online meetings, so I ended up missing out on some course content. The new modules were also delayed and only became available after I asked for them. By the end of the course, I hadn't even talked to my success advisor, which just shows the lack of support I received. On top of all that, I had technical problems that stopped me from getting my certificates, which doesn't look good for the institution's reputation.
Oxford University course
I recently took a course from Oxford University through this platform and I have to say, the content was really great and I had a lot of fun with it. But let me tell you, stay away from anything else this company has to offer. Their support is just awful. They make up deadlines and always have excuses for why they can't get your certificate to you on time, or even at all. I've learned my lesson and I won't be using their services again. I'll definitely be spreading the word to others in my company about the bad experience I had with them.

I bought this course expecting a lot, but honestly, it was pretty disappointing. Most of the stuff they taught was things I already knew. I had to teach myself a bunch of things they didn't cover. I only signed up for this course because they said I'd get a certificate at the end that would impress potential bosses. But it's been taking forever to get that certificate, and I'm starting to get really annoyed.
NUS UX Design course
Stay away from this platform! I signed up for the NUS UX Design course and it was a total disaster. The lectures were terrible, didn't have much substance, and didn't cover Figma, which was a big part of the work. The deadlines for assignments were messed up, causing a lot of unnecessary stress and confusion. Even though I finished the course in November, I still haven't gotten my certificate as of February. The constant delays and excuses from Get Smarter are just not okay. I spent $900 on this disappointing experience. It's been a letdown.

I was really let down by the service I got after I finished my course. I did my training at a top-notch place and I was hoping for top-notch service too. But man, it's been a mess trying to get my certificate. They sent it to the wrong addresses four times! And when it finally showed up at my place, the logo was printed upside down. They haven't been paying attention to the details at all, and they clearly don't care about making customers happy. This whole thing has really soured my view of the whole experience.

I was really let down when I found out that GetSmarter was supposedly connecting me with industry experts, just to later realize that they were actually fake AI-generated student profiles. It's frustrating to think that I was engaging with something that wasn't authentic, rather than real professionals. This dishonesty really damages the credibility of the whole learning process and leaves me feeling deceived.
Waste of money
Don't waste your money on this course, it's pretty much useless. It's as helpful as trying to learn from a rock. There's no interaction, no support, and overall feels like a scam. The only slightly useful thing was the lean canvas info, but not worth the expensive cost.
