As a client of The Knot, I have had an overall positive experience with the company. Their website is user-friendly and easy to navigate, making it simple for me to plan my wedding. The vendor search feature is particularly helpful, as it allowed me to find and connect with local vendors that fit my specific needs and budget.
I also appreciated the organization and planning tools that The Knot offers. The checklist and budget tracker were invaluable in keeping me on track and on budget throughout the planning process. Additionally, the inspiration pages and articles provided me with a wealth of ideas and inspiration for my wedding.
My only complaint would be that the company's customer service could be improved. I had a few issues with my account and it took several attempts to get in touch with someone who could assist me. However, once I did reach someone, they were able to resolve my issue promptly.

The flowers from "Flowers by Darlene" in Salem, created by Darlene herself, were just breathtaking! They made choosing flowers a breeze, and we are so pleased with how everything turned out. Darlene's eye for detail and creativity really made our son and daughter-in-law's wedding day even more special. Tiffany and Allison, the wedding planners at the venue, were also amazing and made planning the wedding a breeze. Overall, our experience with the florist and venue staff was absolutely fantastic.

Hilary was the one who helped me get started, and she really went above and beyond to give me advice and support to help my business stand out in a tough industry. With the wedding market being so crowded, The Knot has been a big help in making me look good, handling inquiries smoothly, and making a name for myself.

The wedding resource platform has been super helpful for couples and vendors from day one. Wedding website platform
The wedding website we used for guests to get information and RSVP didn't meet our expectations. It was hard to use, especially on phones, and not very user-friendly. The accommodation templates linked to a booking site in the US, which was confusing for guests from other countries. I wouldn't suggest using this platform.

I ordered my wedding invitations and the design team was super helpful. Unfortunately, the invitations got swiped off my porch, but the company sent me replacements for free. It really shows that they care about their customers.
Vendor recommendation, onboarding call, $300 loss
The vendor that The Knot recommended totally stood us up for our last onboarding call. It not only set us back $300 but also took up a lot of our time. I left a genuine review on their website, but it mysteriously disappeared because there wasn't a signed contract. It's obvious that they care more about getting paid by vendors than having real reviews. This is false advertising, and they need to be held responsible with a class action lawsuit.
Wedding vendor lead generation
I used The Knot for finding wedding vendors, but my experience wasn't great. The leads I got seemed fake or like bots because nobody ever responded when I tried to reach out. When I asked customer service for help, they basically said I had to pay more for better results. It was super frustrating and expensive, and I wouldn't suggest it to others in the wedding business.

The Knot used to be great for my business, but ever since they joined forces with WeddingWire it's all about the money. I feel like I'm just a number and a dollar sign to them now. I tried to give them a shot, but I'm done dealing with it!

I had the worst time with this company. I thought their wedding planning services would be great, but they weren't what I wanted. When I tried to cancel online, I had problems and had to call customer service for help. Even though I gave clear instructions to cancel, they not only didn't do it but also renewed my contract for another year at a higher price. Dealing with them has been a total headache, and I suggest avoiding them unless you want to deal with a legal fight for breaking the contract.
Hotel reservation cancellation
I recently had a really frustrating experience trying to cancel a hotel reservation through this company. I booked a room and ended up having to cancel just two hours later because of some shady stuff with the pricing. They told me they had a special deal for a wedding, but actually charged me more than what my AAA rate would've been by sneaking in extra fees. When I asked for my money back, they only offered me a voucher for one of their hotels, but I had to use it within the next 120 days. That didn't work for me since I didn't have any plans for another hotel stay any time soon. Even though I canceled way before the wedding, they still wouldn't give me a refund. The customer service was no help at all and the way they handled things just wasn't fair.

I even had to cancel my credit card to stop all the annoying calls from them, which luckily worked after a couple of weeks. I won't be using their services in the future.
Event venue review
I left a bad review for a place that hosted my mom's birthday party, but The Knot.com took it down. They tried to talk me into changing it and even asked for an invoice to prove I was there, but even after I did all that, they still got rid of it. It seems like these companies are paying for good reviews instead of earning them honestly. How else could they have such perfect ratings? The whole thing just feels fake, just like the venue itself. A person named Casey said my review would be removed. I wonder if it's because it exposed their shady behavior?
Engagement party dress purchase
I just bought a dress for my engagement party that was $330. But, it's been two weeks, and I still haven't gotten any updates on the shipping. I tried contacting the company through email, WhatsApp, and Instagram, and I made it clear how important it was for me to get an update on my order. Sadly, they didn't reply at all. Then, I left a comment on one of their posts talking about my worries, but they quickly deleted my comment and blocked me. It was really frustrating and disappointing overall.
