14-day window, you pay shipping, and there's a hefty restocking clause if you miss it, so plan on costly shipping. Also seems like the same styles you see sold cheaply overseas, just marked up a lot. Customer service replied but didn’t resolve the material question. Bottom line — not a scam per se, more oversold value. Buy if you don’t mind compromises and can live with the logo.
Not leather — yet surprisingly alright
good-looking, comfy shoes, but the leather claim is misleading. I first saw these on the site after a coworker mentioned them — she liked the style, so I ordered the Mackenzie Open Toe Block Heel and the Kimalena Round Toe Block Heel. First impression: both fit well and there’s decent cushioning, sturdy feel, no complaints about walking in them. Now the annoying part — they’re labeled as leather, but they definitely smell like synthetic, like PU. Maybe a tiny leather trim somewhere? I couldn’t find any real leather by smell or touch. So I was skeptical at first, honestly. That skepticism eased once I wore them — comfort and design won me over. Still, advertising should be clearer; if it’s mostly synthetic, say so, and price accordingly. Overall I’m satisfied with how they wear, just wish the product page wasn’t, well, a bit misleading. Small qualm, but it matters if you were after genuine leather.
Small win after a sketchy buy
I remember opening the box and feeling immediately off. The logo on the shoes screamed “corium shoes” and looked cheap. I’d seen super low prices like $10 on other sites, yet I paid over a hundred — not great. But the real moment I felt satisfied was when I dug into their return policy and actually asked for a refund. It’s annoying that they expect you to cover return shipping and force a 14‑day window with a 50% restocking fee if you miss it, and yeah the materials looked like plastic despite being listed as leather and rubber. Still, reading the terms made my next move clear, and I felt relieved to take control. I’ve had worse runarounds from other companies, so this wasn’t the worst outcome. Not thrilled about the product, but glad I pushed for a refund and documented everything — that’s the bit that left me feeling okay about the whole thing.
Not what I expected, but comfy
super cushioned, solid build, really comfortable right away (the fit is spot on). But yeah, the scent gave it away — smells like polyurethane, not genuine leather. The listing saying “leather” made me pause before buying and it felt a bit misleading. Maybe there’s a tiny leather trim somewhere, but I couldn’t find any real leather panels. Still, for my back and the long days on my feet they do the job, so my worry mostly went away when I actually wore them. I’m glad they’re comfortable and well-made, just wish the product page was clearer — and honestly, I’d expect a lower price if it’s not real leather. Overall a mix of relief and annoyance.
Pretty shoes, sketchy guts — mixed bag
I fell for the look, but the build let me down — and then I had to fix them out of pocket. I wanted these boots because I needed something sturdy for daily wear — my lower back gets cranky if my footwear doesn’t have decent support, and I was looking for a pair that would go from commute to evening without looking schlubby. They arrived looking great, fit well, and honestly gave me a confidence boost the first two times I wore them. So at first I was kind of thrilled.
But on the third wear the back zipper failed. Like, it just gave out after only a few hours total of wearing time. I actually ended up cutting the boot to free my foot, which was annoying and a little upsetting — that’s not the kind of drama you want from shoes. The smell of adhesive stuck around for days, too, which made me wonder what materials they used. I sent photos and an email and expected at least a reasonable reply, but the company basically denied there was a manufacturing defect and didn’t offer anything useful. That lack of accountability stung more than the broken zipper itself.
I should stress: the boots look great and the sole/support were fine for my back — that’s why I was so disappointed. I didn’t expect to be paying a premium and then dealing with a catastrophic zipper on day three. In the end I paid a local cobbler to replace the zippers because I wanted to keep the style and the comfort I’d gotten from them. That repair cost was another hit on the wallet and made the total far more than I planned.
Emotionally, I felt let down but not enraged — like, I get stuff happens, but offer a fix or a refund and we’re friends again. If you’re thinking of buying these: if you love the look and accept there might be quality hiccups (and you have a cobbler nearby), they’re salvageable. If you want something reliable straight out of the box or don’t want extra costs and fuss, maybe skip them. I hope the brand tightens up quality control because the design is great; they just need to match that with durable parts and better customer care.Back to wearable, but not happy about it
local repair over brand warranty. If you’re considering these boots because of how they look, be aware of the risk you might wind up paying more to make them functional. If you see them in a store, try the zipper a few times before you leave and sniff for that glue smell. I’m posting this so someone else can skip the same headache; that moment of relief when they were finally fixed is worth mentioning, but it doesn’t erase everything that went wrong.
boots that fell apart after 2 days
I recently bought a pair of boots that were supposed to be made of quality leather, but after just 2 days, the "leather" started falling apart. Turns out it wasn't even good quality PU. I tried reaching out on social media, but haven't gotten any response. Wish I could show you pictures. Definitely steer clear of these boots, they are terrible quality.
Shoes
The pictures in the ad made the shoes look so nice, but man, they were nothing like that when I actually got them. They were cheap and looked like they were put together in a rush. I was bummed out and annoyed by how different they were from what I was expecting. Just a heads up for anyone else looking to buy, those photos on the website might not be the real deal!
Shoe purchase
Ya know, I had some trouble with the sizing when I bought shoes from this company. Tried to use their sizing chart and everything, but the shoes just didn't fit right according to international standards. So frustrating and ended up costing me a good chunk of change. When I tried to return them, turns out their policy only gives you a partial refund if it's been more than 15 days since they got the shoes back. Ended up losing 70£ out of a 100£ purchase, ugh.
Boots purchase
The boots I ordered got here super quick, only taking 4 days to arrive in London. I thought it was gonna be longer since it took a total of 12 days. The quality of the boots is amazing - they're made of really soft leather and they're so comfy. Normally, I wear a size 6.5 UK, but I checked their size chart and went with my usual size. They fit perfectly! Only thing was they smelled pretty strong of glue and paint, but it didn't bother me too much. Overall, I'm really happy with my purchase.
False advertising, poor quality
The product I bought said it was leather but it was actually cheap PU leather. It was so disappointing and I couldn't even get my money back because there was no refund option on the website and the phone number listed wasn't working.
Size discrepancy, quality leather, delayed delivery
I bought a size 38, but I usually wear a 37.5 because these shoes run small. The leather and craftsmanship were really good, which I liked. However, it took over 5 weeks for the delivery to arrive, longer than I thought. So, if you're thinking about ordering from here, make sure you plan ahead.
Stylish narrow shoes
I bought some shoes from this company because they looked really cute and stylish, but man, was I let down when they arrived. The sizes were totally off, even though I followed their size chart to a T. Those shoes were like trying to squeeze my foot into a shoe two sizes too small! It was not fun at all. And when I tried to get help from customer service, they were super defensive and not very helpful. Plus, their return policy for multiple pairs was just confusing and strict. I ended up feeling really annoyed and disappointed with my whole shopping experience.
Late delivery, unhelpful customer service
The delivery of my order got super delayed, so I missed the return window. I tried reaching out to customer service, but they took forever to reply and didn't really help. I bought two things, but one didn't fit. Because the company handled it so poorly, I won't be shopping there again.
Shoes
I've been waiting for my order from this store for a few weeks now, and I have to say, it was definitely worth the wait. The shoes I got were even better than I thought they'd be, and I'm really loving them. The quality is amazing and I couldn't be happier with my purchase.
Shoes
I recently bought some shoes from this brand and it was pretty disappointing. The shoes showed up late and they were not as nice as I thought they'd be. Even though I got my usual size, they were way too tight and uncomfortable to wear. When I tried to return them, customer service was not very helpful at all. And to top it off, the packaging was not great and the shoes were even dirty when I got them. It seems like these shoes are made for a totally different group of people. I definitely won't be buying from this company again.
Defective oxford shoes
I bought a pair of oxford shoes from this place not too long ago, and let me tell you, it was a total letdown. When I got the shoes and tried them on, I saw right away that the heel of one shoe was falling apart, making it super hard to walk in them. So, I reached out to customer service about it, but they just brushed me off and said they don't do refunds for used items. I was really frustrated because I had only worn the shoes for a short time and it was obvious they were messed up. The fact that they didn't even acknowledge the problem and wouldn't help me at all just made me even more disappointed. It's clear that they care more about making money than making their customers happy, and that's not cool.
Shoe design and quality
I was super pumped to buy these shoes, but then I checked out the reviews and how the company deals with customers, and now I'm not so sure. The shoes look awesome, but I'm worried about how good they actually are. Every time someone says something bad, the company gets all defensive and acts unprofessional. They don't fix the problem, they just go after the customer. That's not cool with me - a company that can't take criticism like a grown-up is a big warning sign. If I'm thinking about buying something, I want to feel good about it, not stressed about their reputation.
Long delivery wait
I had to wait so long for my order to show up! I should've checked out some reviews first. Trying to give them a call just goes straight to voicemail and they're ignoring all my messages about that order number 470825 I put in on Nov. 13th. Save yourself the headache and steer clear of ordering from them!
Beautiful shoes received
The shoes had a long wait before they arrived, but let me tell you, they were totally worth it! They're just like how they were described - gorgeous and so comfy. I'll definitely be buying from this store again.
