Anniversary gift from wife
My wife got me a watch for our anniversary, but it's not quite what I wanted. The hands don't light up in the dark, and the date is too tiny to see properly. I attempted to swap it for a less expensive one, but the store refused due to a scratch on the band. So now I'm stuck wearing my old watch again.
Gifted unreliable watch
I received this watch as a gift three years ago, and it was supposed to be a really cool diving watch that could go really deep underwater. But you know what? After I took it swimming, it got all fogged up inside and stopped ticking. So much for being a reliable diving watch, huh? I sent it back to get it fixed, and they wanted to charge me £111! Can you believe it? I decided it wasn't worth it to deal with such a crappy watch, even with the discount they offered me on a new one. No thank you, Citizen!
Winter themed watch
I bought this winter-themed watch and I have to say, I was pretty disappointed. It cost me a lot, but I couldn't figure out how to manually set the time on it. No matter what I tried, it just wouldn't show the right time. I spent a good two hours trying to adjust it for daylight savings time and still had no luck. Overall, I'm really unhappy with this purchase and I definitely wouldn't recommend this watch to anyone else.
Damaged watch bracelet repair
I messed up my watch bracelet at work, believe it or not, within a year of buying the dang thing. So, I decided to hit up customer service, and man, were they coming in clutch. They said they'd fix the bracelet for free, even though it wasn't technically under warranty. I gotta say, I was blown away by how ready they were to help out. It's rare to find a company that goes that extra mile for their customers. Huge thanks for the awesome service.
Faulty watch movement
My wife and I had a really bad experience with a watch we bought from a big-name store. The watch had a popular movement but kept breaking down in the first few weeks. The store tried to fix it by changing the battery and giving us a pricier replacement, but the issues kept happening. It's annoying that even a fancy watch couldn't avoid the problem. We're upset with the quality of these movements and all the trouble we had to deal with to get it fixed.
Third eco-drive watch gift
It's always amazing to get a gift, especially when it's your third eco-drive watch. But let me tell you, my joy quickly turned to frustration when the watch didn't fit right. The folks down at the store in the Caribbean islands didn't take out enough links, so I was left with a watch that just didn't feel right on my wrist. I decided to get some help from the service department at Citizen Canada. And let me tell you, they were incredible. They not only adjusted the watch for me for free, but they did it with a smile. The gal who helped me had such a great attitude, you could tell she really liked working there. It's so nice to come across a company that actually cares about providing good service in their service department.
Ecodrives durability
I love watches that are thin, accurate, and durable without being crazy expensive. I have this one diver's watch, but I'm really all about Ecodrive watches. I've had three of them for more than ten years and let me tell you, they still work great. I keep them in a spot with some sunlight and it's crazy, but two of them haven't even needed a new battery yet. I've learned that messing with a watch's case can mess up its waterproofing, unless you want to spend a ton getting it serviced. Also, Citizen's customer service was amazing and affordable when I needed extra links for my watch.
Two-month-old watch strap issue
The band on my watch got all messed up after just a few times wearing it in the last couple of months. I contacted customer service and sent them a bunch of pics showing the problem. They told me I had to ship the watch back, even though it would cost more than just getting a new band. It's pretty frustrating how they won't own up to selling a faulty product and don't seem to care much about keeping their customers happy.
Citizen Promaster Aqualand Eco-Drive Diver's 200m with blue strap
I recently bought the Citizen Promaster Aqualand Eco-Drive Diver's 200m watch with a blue strap. I was super excited to get it because I've been a fan of this brand for years and love the quality of their watches. But when I got the watch, I was bummed to find out that the strap was too short. Even though I don't have big wrists, I had to use the second to last hole to make it fit comfortably. This was a letdown for me, especially since I'm a professional diver and need my gear to be functional and comfy.
Bought a smartwatch
So you know, I bought this new smartwatch, and let me tell you, it was a mistake. I've had other smartwatches in the past, but this one is just a mess. It's supposed to be high-tech and all, but it's just a disaster. The company even stopped selling it because it's so terrible. They should really give refunds to everyone who got conned into buying this pricey piece of junk. The step count is off, the alarm is always late, it can't sync properly, and it keeps directing me to some useless troubleshooting page. And when I tried to leave a review on their site, they didn't even post it. Shady, right? Do yourself a favor and go for a Fitbit instead. Much better and way more affordable.
EcoDrive watch
I can't believe it! So, I went ahead and got my partner an EcoDrive watch, thinking it'd be a solid choice. But boy was I wrong! A few months in, the winder just pops right out like it's crashing a surprise party. I called up customer service, expecting them to come through on their "guarantee," but all they did was laugh in my face. Can you believe that?
Watch warranty disappointment
I bought a watch from this company not too long ago, and I have to say, I was pretty bummed out by the warranty they offered. It didn't even cover the usual manufacturing issues that could happen with the product. It was a major letdown.
Defective watches, had to buy expensive replacement bands
I just bought a watch from here and man, was I bummed out by how bad it was. It literally fell apart after only a little bit of wear, so I had to drop another 120 Euros on new bands since the ones it came with were straight up garbage. Definitely not making the mistake of shopping from this store again.
Valuable watch from early 1990's
I recently tried to get my watch from the '90s serviced by supposed experts, but they said they didn't have the parts and suggested I try an independent repair service instead. I was surprised because I thought a company like them would have spare parts available in different locations across Europe. This kind of lackluster service doesn't really fit the image of a top global brand.
Solar watch repair
My mom got this solar watch from that brand like 3 years ago. Right from the start, it was always like 8 minutes behind whenever it bumped into something. She took it back to the store 3 times trying to get it fixed, but no luck. And man, those repairs just dragged on and on. Eventually, my brother-in-law (he's an engineer) was able to figure it out after looking stuff up online. I wouldn't suggest buying anything from them, to be honest.
Watch repair issue
I sent in my watch to get fixed 'cause the crown wasn't locking anymore. But they sent it back saying my watch doesn't even have a crown locking feature! Seriously? I've had this watch for like 10 years, I feel like I would have known if that was true! I tried reaching out to them to correct it, but no response at all. Ugh!
Recent watch purchase
I recently had a really bad experience with the customer service at this watch company. It seems like they don't care about helping customers quickly. When I tried to get help, all I got was automated responses that just made things worse. It's crazy how the same problems keep happening with different watches and they're not doing anything about it. This shows me that they don't really care about making sure their products are good quality. As a customer, I expect them to take care of problems right away, but it looks like Citizen Watches isn't up to the task.
A Satisfied Customer's Review of Citizen Watch.
As a client of Citizen Watch, I have had a great experience with the company. Their watches are of high quality and have lasted me for several years without any issues. The designs are modern and stylish, and there is a wide range of options to choose from. The customer service is also excellent - any time I have had a question or concern, the team has been quick to respond and helpful in resolving the issue.
One of the things I particularly appreciate about Citizen Watch is their focus on sustainability. They have a number of eco-friendly watches that use less energy and have recyclable parts, which is important to me as a conscious consumer.
Overall, I would highly recommend Citizen Watch to anyone looking for a reliable and stylish timepiece.
