As I feel defrauded I really wish I could give 0 stars, yet that isnt an option
I know I should have looked at reviews. However, I took a shot on supporting a small, woman owned business. I was hoping to stimulate our economy a bit and looked for small businesses with locally made products. So, "Hand Made in Alabama" was a reason for me. I would say customer services is horrible. However, it appears the only customer service is in the form of auto generated emails once your order is placed and you are billed. After that, you are ghosted. I ordered seasonal items that were not customized. I did not select any item listed as "currently out of stock" and only one item listed as "few remaining". After waiting 15 days for the email with shipping info, I began reaching out via email. I went back on their business site and saw them guaranteeing items ordered by today will be received by Christmas. Mind you this was on December 12th No response to email for 2 days, so I called. No response so I went to look at a way to reach them and had to go to social media to see a blanket "thank you for your business our items have been held up at customs with a pick of pallets of garments being received at the business". The message also stated that items ordered by 12/11 will be received by Christmas which is far less than the time many of us waited. Now, I had to address the issue via social media. That is a crazy way to run a business. Why even have a business email address and phone if you will only conduct business online. Anyway, as I stated the garments were held up at customs per the company which means they CANNOT BE MADE IN ALABAMA. Even with that notation under the pallets of garments they received, they repeated that items take 2 weeks as they are hand made by part time only employees in Alabama. How dumb do they really think the consumer is? Now the ... issue is that all of my items are seasonal and ordered for holiday parties and a trip. Yet, I have no idea when I will get the items, have only Christmas day left to wear them unless they arrive at my home in about 36 hours before my planned trip (a trip I planned on wearing at least one ordered item). So, I inquired about just getting a refund. I mean if you just go the garments you haven't had time to embellish them as I requested a refund 2 days before you acknowledged receipt of the items. Also, hand made in Alabama and hand embellished in Alabama are very different. One implies a work force to create the garments. I wanted to support a business who is feeding local families with adequate employment. Instead, they farm out the manufacturing to another country and use part time, unbenefited employees to iron on patches or tack on fringe. Very deceptive and seems like fraud to me. I'm not sure the legalities of saying something is hand made or made at a location when it is clothing that is only embellished there. However, based on the social media response and these reviews, I have a feeling the owner of the company will be consulting to find out just how far those claims are allowed to go.
I cannot include a photo. I have received 0 items but 1 DM asking for my order number after I commented on facebook about being ghosted after they took my money. Sadly, that number was included in all emails and voicemails left over a 5 day period.Jingle bells sweatshirt
Reached out to the company for 9 days to try to get an address mistake changed prior to the order being processed. They did not respond and when they finally did, the item had already shipped. They were unhelpful and curt. I would not recommend ordering from them Overpriced and poor service.
Dress
The dress was super cute but unfortunately it did not fit. The size I needed was not available so I had no choice but to return it. I paid $88 and only was given back $53. That's a big difference. So be super mindful of that when ordering from them. I understand they consider themselves a small business but that hurt. I basically lost money because something didn't fit. So therfore I will not order from them again. It's not worth it.
Mamacita Pullover and Raise Boys Hat
Shipping time is awful. I did not order anything custom yet they stated these were both custom pieces and would take up to 4 weeks to ship. I received these July 3rd.
When I opened the pullover, it had black marks all over and a small hole right on the front. I'm not sure why anyone would ever package that and send it out to a customer. I sent it back and they sent me a new one which I received yesterday, July 20th. Again, this one has black marks on it as well but not as many as before so I'm just going to cut my losses on it because they clearly aren't reliable or consistent in their product. Definitely will never order again.Different items at different times
I hate writing negative reviews but I have only ordered from them ONCE without issues. One time my order just didn’t ship and when I reached out, it magically shipped that day.. Next order, they also did not ship. I reached out and did not respond. I texted them over a period of days multiple times but never got a response until I commented on their Instagram asking them to please respond.. they said they put my order aside for me and would ship it out next day and told me they only have a few employees so this tends to happen. (With over 90 k followers on Instagram & many customers having similar issues, it may be time to hire more people to help!) The next day came and I received a text from them saying they canceled my order as I requested.. I responded saying that I was told it would ship out next day & asked for an explanation.. they did NOT respond. If you want to get ahold of them, try commenting on their Instagram (they will for sure delete your comment but will also magically get back to you even though your issue may not be fixed ever) The next order I received no problem, thankfully! However, my most recent order was mark “shipped” but didn’t start tracking until a week later and when I got the package the item was wrong. So disappointing because they have the cutest stuff but it’s starting to be not worth it. :( (I wanted to give them 1 star for service & delivery but the lowest stars that would show up is two.)
So I waited a month and 1/2 for mine and got one item not two. I’m beyond mad

I ordered 2 hats (not even custom) well over a month ago. Contacted them several times and finally they told me it would be shipped last week. I got an email saying it had been shipped. All they did was create a shipping label. They have yet to ship it. USPS says they’re still waiting on my package. At this point they need to refund my money and give me my item. I will never order from them again. I have never waited this long on a package even custom orders. Ridiculous!
