Mixed bag, honestly

some tools behave well, but there’s lag, occasional crashes and way too many ads even during trial, so workflow gets interrupted. Gets the job done sometimes, but far from smooth. Read onBy: Bernie Grimes

I was so excited to buy a subscription for unlimited saves on this awesome photo editing app. Things were going great at first, and I was having a blast editing all my pictures.... Read onBy: yasmeen

Free trial bit me, but it actually works

I clicked the free trial because a coworker showed it to me during lunch and I tipped my sister. No reminder came and the card got charged when the trial auto-renewed — annoying. I cancelled right away and emailed support, said I couldn't use it for my needs (can't add a watermark, that was the point). Support refused a refund and told me to use the month I paid for. Reluctantly I did, and it's actually decent — files export fine, UI's okay — still wish they'd be clearer about charging.

    Immediate cancel — heads up

cancel right after you sign up — seriously. I picked the yearly plan because I needed something to help with chronic back pain and sleep (moving, stretching, the usual), and it did help for a while. Problem is, I knew I’d stop using it after a few months and sure enough they auto-renewed a year later with zero reminder and no refunds. Feels like a quiet money move. So use it if it helps, but set a reminder and cancel immediately when you join. Annoying, but lesson learned.

    Good tool, shady renewal

the app helped with my lower back rehab and the videos are solid, but the billing is sketchy. It's an annual plan that silently auto-renews. No reminder. No refunds. They count on people forgetting. I actually needed this during a move and for some lingering back pain, so it was useful for a few months. But don't assume they'll tell you your renewal is coming. It works, and it's not perfect — clunky UI sometimes, and support was slow — so just set a reminder and cancel.

    Midnight sign-up, decent support

I messaged about a weird credit glitch and they actually resolved it and credited my account (12,000 credits showed up). Delivery of that fix was quick, replies were clear, so I went from doubtful to satisfied — still room to improve the AI, but service was solid.

Handy for quick edits, but don't push it

I use this when I need something fast and it usually does the job. I needed a quick crop and color tweak to upload photos during a hectic move, so speed mattered. Runs right in the browser — no installs, which is super convenient. The interface is simple, I like that. But yeah, it chokes on bigger stuff. Layers and detailed tweaks make it lag or even freeze. Lost a couple edits that way, which sucked. Some useful tools are behind a paywall and the free version has ads. Still, for quick social pics or chopping images it’s solid. Not perfect, but honestly pretty helpful when you don’t need a full pro app.

Handy for quick stuff, flaky for more

nice — runs in the browser so no install, pretty convenient. The layout is simple, a bit old-school, but okay. Then I tried layers and more detailed edits and it started to stutter and even freeze; I lost work twice, which was annoying. Lots of tools are behind a paywall and the free version is full of ads. I contacted support once and got a slow, generic reply, so customer service and delivery of fixes aren’t great. Still, it’s fine for tiny, quick edits — not for big projects.

    Half the charm left

Midway through my morning scroll, coffee gone lukewarm, I realized the site felt weird — like someone rearranged my entire living room. I've used this site every day for quick recipes, a weather check, and saving silly links for work, so the new layout hit me hard. What bugs me most is the constant pop-up telling me to turn off AdBlock so it can throw ads at me; that one really ruined the flow and made me close tabs more than once. Other bits still work and some articles load fine, so I'm glad at least the core content survived. Still, I appreciate the memories.

Not great, but it ended okay

I was annoyed at first — charged after one day and the app kept freezing. Ads popped up constantly and the interface felt sluggish. I messaged support, expecting radio silence like with some other companies. For a while I wasn't sure it’d be worth the hassle. Then a rep actually answered, investigated, and offered a partial refund plus a month of credit. That was the moment I breathed out and felt satisfied. The app still has glitches, but with the credit I gave it another try and it ran better on my newer laptop. Not perfect, but acceptable.

Not the same, but still useful

cluttered, pop-ups every few clicks, and it keeps nagging me to turn off AdBlock so ads can flood the screen. At first I was ready to bail, really annoyed, but after poking around I still found a few features that actually work better now, weirdly. So yeah, it’s frustrating, slow to get used to, and clearly AI-driven in ways I don’t love, but I haven’t completely ditched it yet — still useful sometimes. I’m looking for alternatives, though.

    Pixlr Premium Annual Subscription

I was really looking forward to trying out Pixlr Premium, thinking it would be perfect for all my graphic design needs. But boy, was I in for a surprise! It's been nothing but a frustrating nightmare. Every time I try to work on a design, the whole thing freezes and I lose all my progress. It feels like my work just disappears into thin air, like a bad magic trick. Sometimes it comes back, but using this program is just an emotional rollercoaster.

This experience has left me feeling so frustrated and angry. I can't believe I fell for all of Pixlr's promises. I've lost hours of work due to these technical glitches. It's disheartening to see all my creativity erased in an instant. I thought Pixlr Premium would be a good alternative to other design programs, but it turned out to be a nightmare instead.

They really need to step up their game and fix these issues fast. I'm sure I'm not the only one dealing with these problems. They're losing loyal customers like me. I hope they improve their services soon because this kind of experience is just not acceptable.

    Online photo editing software

I've been using this online photo editing software for a while now, and I always found it super easy to use and effective. But recently, they changed it so that you can only save a certain number of times per day. It's really annoying because now I have to look for a different program to use. I used to be happy with the software, but now I'm kind of let down. I really hope they change it back to how it was before.

    Image editing software subscription

I signed up for a subscription to an image editing software last October, thinking it would help me improve my editing skills. Unfortunately, I have been really let down by the service. The tools they offer are not very helpful, the images it generates are a mess no matter what I try. The editing tools themselves don't work right and sometimes mess up the images or leave strange outlines. Even the AI tools meant to restore or sharpen images don't do the job well. And to make matters worse, the customer service hasn't been able to help me or address my concerns, which is frustrating and makes me feel ignored.

    Photo editing software

Are you serious? This photo editing software is a total disaster! Every time I try to make even the simplest edits, it crashes my computer. It's unbelievable how bad this software has gotten. I'm definitely done using it.

    Image editing software subscription

I used this image editing software at my last job and really liked it. It helped me make my projects and presentations look more professional and attractive. But, I forgot to cancel my subscription when I left that job, so I got charged unexpectedly on my card. I contacted customer support right away when I saw the charge, but I was upset when they said they couldn't give me a refund. It was frustrating because most other places would be more helpful in that kind of situation.

    Edit software

This editing software is a total letdown. I've been using it for a while, and it always seems to mess up at the worst times. Whether I'm editing a basic photo or making a cool graphic for social media, it's always glitching out. It's annoying to waste time and money on something that doesn't work well. Sure, it's easy to use and has some neat features, but what's the use if it doesn't actually do its job?

    Basic editing and compression tools

I thought the tools in this software were really good for simple editing and compressing. I mostly used it for adding text and making files smaller for social media, and it worked well for that. But for more complicated editing, I'd suggest using Adobe or some other free options because they're better.
