Overcharged credit card
This company is just awful. They totally took advantage of me and charged me way too much on my credit card. When I tried to get a refund, they wouldn't even listen. It's terrible that they would do this to someone like me who is retired. I wasted so much time on the phone trying to fix it, but they said there was nothing they could do. They wouldn't even give me a credit for later. It's obvious that this company is not honest and is stealing from people. Don't let yourself get caught up in their shady dealings. Just a heads up, steer clear.
Rental experience
I rented a movie from this service recently and I have to say, I was really impressed with how easy it was. They had a wide variety of movies to choose from, which made it super easy for me to find something I wanted to watch. Checking out was fast and the confirmation email came right away. The DVD was in great shape and played perfectly, so I had a great time watching it. Overall, I was really happy with my rental and I would definitely use this service again in the future.
Digital rental
I tried renting a movie online, but it turned out to be a total scam! I can't believe how much time I wasted just trying to watch a movie. The website was so confusing, I couldn't even figure out how to rent the movie I really wanted. It was such a letdown, I felt like I was just wasting my time with this service. I don't think I'll be using it again.
Automated customer service
I reached out to customer service and man, what a letdown! Talking to that automated system was like banging my head against a wall. It kept me going in circles without actually fixing my problem. It was a total waste of my time and just left me feeling even more frustrated than I was to begin with.
Order delivery experience
The delivery service was great! They texted me two hours before my stuff got here, and it came right when they said it would. The delivery guy was really careful when loading everything, and it all got here safe and sound. I was super impressed with their customer service and would totally tell others to use this delivery service.
Streamer Disappointment
During times like these, a lot of people turn to streaming movies at home for comfort. It's a nice way to take our minds off things and stay safe and healthy. But it's pretty annoying when companies don't do anything to help their customers during a crisis. Lowering the cost of streaming could have really helped out a lot of folks who are having a tough time right now. It's sad to see money being more important than kindness.
Experience with customer service
My recent customer service experience was really disappointing. I had some problems with my order and when I asked for help, the person I talked to was straight up rude. They wouldn't let me finish my sentences, kept interrupting me, and didn't even try to fix the mistake. I was on the phone for an hour and a half, trying to stay calm, but their lack of empathy and professionalism just made me even more mad. It's just not right to treat customers like that, especially when it's something that could have been sorted out if they had just listened and helped out.
My Redbox DVD rental
Oh my gosh, I can't believe how terrible the service was! I went to the Redbox closest to me to get my DVD rental, but they sent me to another one without telling me first. And when I called customer service for assistance, nobody picked up! I mean, come on, how can they help me if they don't even answer the phone?! This was the worst experience ever, and I'm definitely not using this service again.
Unauthorized double charge
I just got hit with an unexpected double charge from a service provider. They first charged me an authorization fee that was supposed to be taken off later. But that never happened, so now I got hit with two charges on my account. I've been trying to reach customer service multiple times, but I keep getting stuck with people who can't help me and keep hanging up on me. It's really frustrating to deal with this lack of transparency and bad customer service because it makes me worried that they might be up to something fishy. I recommend others keep a close eye on their bank statements to make sure they're not getting hit with surprise charges like this.
Unexpected charges on account
I was pretty pleased with the service at first, but then things took a turn when I saw a random charge on my account. So, I decided to contact customer service to get some answers, only to be fed a bunch of lies about extra charges that were never even mentioned to me before. It's just really disappointing to see a company stoop to being dishonest in their business dealings. Like, if you can't follow through with your promotions, then maybe just don't offer them at all.
Watching Movies
I just got this app to watch movies on my TV and honestly, I like it a lot. The ads are kind of bothersome, but I've learned to deal with them. However, what really bugs me is that I keep getting ads in Spanish. I'm Mexican-American, and I really don't like that at all. It's not cool to have to see ads in Spanish, especially since we're in America. They need to fix this ASAP.
Online movie rental experience
My experience with online movie rentals was pretty disappointing. The promo codes I tried never seemed to work, and I never saw any promotions show up in my accounts. It was a pain not having a chat feature for customer service when I needed help. The TV app didn't make it clear which movies were actually eligible for promotions until after I inputted all my info, which was annoying. Basically, my whole online movie rental experience was just not great and I ended up feeling pretty frustrated.
Promo code issue for movie selection
I had a problem with a promo code I got in an email for a $1.25 discount on streaming or rentals. The email mentioned two movies, one of them was "Kingsman." I was pumped to watch it, so I logged in to use the promo code. Turns out, it wasn't good for that movie! Kind of felt like a bait and switch move, which was pretty disappointing, especially from Redbox.
App, streaming, kiosk
I was really bummed out about my experience with that app, streaming service, and kiosks. The customer service was terrible, the DVDs I rented were all messed up, they wouldn't give me my money back, and the streaming service was super slow and kept pausing, even though my internet was fine. Basically, I thought the whole thing was unprofessional and just not up to par.
Overcharged and Poor Customer Service
I had a really frustrating time trying to return a DVD at the kiosk in my neighborhood. No matter how many times I tried, the dang machine just wouldn't take it back, and I ended up getting charged too much. I tried reaching out to customer service a bunch of times to fix things, but I never got a response. It's been a real headache not hearing back and not getting this sorted out. I'm pretty annoyed and let down by the whole experience. I'm definitely not planning on using this service again down the road.
Renting on demand
I only rent movies on demand, but I'm bummed out by the fact that there aren't many good deals available for this service. It's annoying to dish out $3.99 or even more for just one movie rental when I could easily watch it on other streaming services that I'm already signed up for. It would be awesome to have more discounts and promotions for regular customers like me who are willing to spend more on individual rentals.
Security concerns
Oh my goodness, Redbox totally dropped the ball and now my info got jacked by this sketchy site called Tundum.co while I was trying to add my payment info! Their customer service was no help at all. Seriously, don't risk your personal and credit card info with Redbox, it's not secure at all!
Two movie rentals
I rented a couple of movies from a kiosk and tried to return them at a nearby spot, but the machine was broken. So, I had to go out of my usual route to return them at a different kiosk. Because of this hassle, my account got charged more than I anticipated, and there were some mistakes in the extra fees. It was all pretty annoying, and now I don't really feel like using their services again.
Redbox movie rental
The Redbox app isn't working on my devices, even though it's supposed to. When I tried customer service chat, all they gave me was a "warning" message. Redbox used to be good, but now it's just not cutting it. I think I'll just stick with Amazon streaming. I also came across a Microsoft page promoting a Redbox download, but Redbox should really mention that you need some extra stuff to use it.
Rented 3 movies, 2 didn't work!
So, I rented 3 movies at once, you know? But man, 2 of them were busted! One kept skipping like crazy, and the other wouldn't even get past the subtitles. I tried reaching out for like a week, but no one got back to me. Ended up returning everything, then saw a $97.00 charge on my card later on. I was like, seriously?! When I finally got in touch, they only gave me $10 off. Terrible service, total scam - never dealing with them again!
