Best way to book travel tickets and hotels
I don't do travel packages or tour companies. It all get too much fancy for me, like things to be simple as it can be.
This platform suits me the best.
Easy to buy, affordable flight options, better rates, broader options
can also book for hotels as well.
Attention Fraud! edreams confirmed my flight, but when I was at the airport to check in the airline told me, there is no reservation for me. the customer support took its time to confirm that they missinformed me and immediately started the process of reimbursement (money didn´t arrive yet).
Which didn´t help, as they also informed me, the money will arrive in about 2 weeks and there is no further support for extra costs like the last minute ticket for the next day, accomodation, taxi...but ironicly they told me about the option to book a hotel via e-dreams (costs completly on my side).
All about a chat, no offer of real support, nor appoligy!

No. You may need customer service and they THERE IS NO PHONE NUMBER to reach them. The entire interface is through a lengthy and frustrating messaging interface of multiple questions and challenges. You will need to successfully navigate this every time you need to reach them, and for your patience you’ll be rewarded with dismal “call center” level of customer “assistance”.
Additionally, their "Cancel for Any Reason Trip Guarantee" is a SCAM. I contacted eDreams shortly before my trip to inquire about cancelling due to illness and was advised that I could cancel my trip up to 24 hours before departure time.
I waited until 25 hours before departure and was still sick so l phoned eDreams to cancel. They told me I missed the cutoff to claim the Guarantee because they are located in a DIFFERENT TIME ZONE!
A colleague warned me about eDreams, I wish I had listened.
Airline ticket upgrades
I called Edreams in December of 2022 and requested two seat upgrades to Business class on a flight to Bora Bora. Also they over charged me for the two seats to begin with, without saying anything. They said they would contact the airline and get the upgrade. The following day they charged my debit card over $2,000 for the upgrade. I called to get the seat numbers then they said the seats were not available. I asked for a refund and after a month refuned us for the over charge for the tickets but did not refund me for the business class seats. They refuse to answer any emails, they think because they are in Spain they are safe to rip you off. Stay Away from this company.
eDreams failed website cost me $400
I attempted to buy tickets from their website multiple times, using my bank's app to authorize payment. Every time (about 5 attempts) the eDreams website told me "transaction failed". So I bought the tickets elsewhere. After that eDreams sent me a confirmation that the purchase DID go through. Now they won't refund money - in fact, they say they can only charge money they can't refund it. Company is a scam, stay away!
I recently booked a last minute ticket for air flights to attend my father's funeral. I paid 4 times as much as I normally pay but got good connections thru Edreams. Raced to the airport only to find that my flight had been cancelled due to low bookings. Not the fault of Edreams, I understand. But there I am at the airport, trying to get to a funeral, and they offer nothing. No alternatives, no other flights or anything. After several frustrating hours in between contacting family to change/hold funeral arrangements, Edreams finally conceeded that they could do nothing for me and offered me a refund less a substantial cancellation fee. Huh? I didn't cancel, I wanted to be on my way. They were unable to deliver on the flights they sold and I already paid for, and I need to pay a fee? Talked to supervisor(s) and finally, a week or so later, got Edreams to agree to a full refund which took over a week to show on my credit card. I am aware that travel has changes (weather, delays, etc) which no one can control. But, with good customer service, usually alternatives can be found which are workable. In this case, Edreams offered nothing, no ideas, no different airlines or flights, no later rebooking...nada. And I had to fight to get my money back. The story has a somewhat happy ending - my nephew knows an airline pilot who got me standby tickets on several flights and I got to the funeral after all, with 20 minutes to spare and it was $1400 less. My point in telling this is that the seats were actually available, just that EDreams could not get them for me and someone different could, at far less money. I would never book Edreams again, no matter what low price they dangle.
The worst travel company that I had to deal with! A scam! Lack of transparency, of reliable information, of professionalism and a lot of lying.
I had to change my departure date in September and although I paid luggage on my initial booking they did not added the information to my updated reservation. I contacted customer service several time during 3 weeks before my departure on this matter because they weren't able to figure out how to solve this issue and kept delaying. One day prior the departure I have been promised that the issue is solved and they reassured me that they communicated the info to the airline. It was a lie. Once at the airport, the airline was seeing not luggage paid on my reservation, so I had to pay it again.
I am trying to change the date for my return flight to US flight, it's been 10 days. I first contacted them through chat on Dec 27. Kept telling me that someone will contact me within 72h. When nobody did, I wrote back. They told me to take this directly with the airline, knowing that this was not the solution, but just to get rid of me. Contacted the airline, which of course sent me back to them. It took them 8 days to call me to change my return flight. When I asked why they called me so late, I have been told that the airlines don't work during holydays! Which is outrageously untrue! 8 days during which the prices kept climbing. The call was unprofessional and I have been offered zero transparency on how they set the prices that they asked me to pay. It was a take it or leave it situation. When I asked for other dates prices the agent kept repeating that this is the best price and I either want it or not. I chose not to change the ticket on Jan 3 when they called due unexpected high fees and some financial limitation. I reached back to them by phone on Jan 4th because I am forced to make the change due to health issues. Waited 15 min to be connected to someone. Gave all the information, the dates that I am looking at for the flight back just to be told that someone will get back with me in 3 days! I have been told told that they contacted me one day before but since I didn't take their offer I need to wait for someone to get back to me in 72h. Basically I am being punished because I refused to buy the ticket they proposed. I have no words to describe how powerless and frustrated I feel. I am at the mercy of an incompetent and dishonest group of customer service people which each time refuses to transfer me to someone higher who could solve my problems. Their managers are always busy and can't talk to me! I never felt so bullied, lied, robbed and ignored by a service provider in my life.
I will do everything I can so this doesn't happen to other people anymore.
Stay as far as you can from this scam company!
Dishonest, Do not disclose service charge, hard to get customer service agents & when you get one they promise to take care of you request & don't keep the promise. I requested invoice for a confirmed flight 3 times & got 3 times an invoice for a different flight
Complete scammers. They did not refund my money even when the car rental company didn't give me a car because my driver's license was not an out-of-state driver's license. You'd have to read everything in the terms before proceeding. Don't rent cars with these scammers.
