    Refund headache

    I wouldn't order from them again — that's the short version. I ordered an item that never arrived; I contacted EGO and on August 12 they said it was out of stock and I'd get a refund in 3-10 days. I started using their site that week thinking it would be easy; my first impression was fine, then this. It's now September 5 and the refund still hasn't shown up. Pretty disappointed, honestly.

They did replace one battery after I pushed, so some good there, but the paperwork thing became a mess. I had submitted receipts (yes, more than once), and still they insisted a string trimmer’s warranty wasn’t valid because they “didn’t have” the receipt. I even sat through three long calls across a few days where people said they’d look into it and call back. Spoiler — they didn’t. That was the worst part: the radio silence after promises. In the end I gave up on the older battery and recycled both at the county facility; not ideal. So, are the products useful? Mostly yes, when they work. Is the support reliable? Not in my experience.
