    I ordered an Oris on June 27. It wasn’t in stock and I was told 2–3 weeks. That didn’t happen. There were a couple of delay emails and then another update saying late August. I actually got it on September 4. Annoying, sure, but not a scam. The watch itself surprised me. It sits nicely on the wrist — solid but not heavy, the bezel has a good click and the bracelet is comfy right away. I wear it to the office and on weekends. It feels more refined in real life than in the pictures. Customer service was straightforward. I could get through on the phone every time and they were honest about timescales, which helped. If you need a watch in a hurry, don’t order this one from stock that has to come from abroad. Expect around eight weeks and you won’t be frustrated. Would I buy again? Yes, but only if I’m not on a tight deadline. So, be realistic, be patient, and you’ll end up with a nice watch that actually lives up to the photos.
