I was pouring coffee when the box thudded on my porch — that's when I knew, oddly, I was happy. I use this for my morning routine (ebooks and snacks), so getting it late was annoying but once it worked I smiled. Could've been faster, though.
Left-at-door mess
I ordered this two weeks ago and first thought it was a total rip-off. They dropped a package worth over $150 on the steps at a busy corner — no knock, no signature, nothing — I was furious and worried it would walk away. After some back-and-forth with support they started an investigation, so I’m less annoyed but still wary.
Caught off guard
skim the fine print and don't rush.
Took a chance, glad I did
package arrived quick and stuff was exactly as pictured. Glad I gave it a shot, pleasantly surprised.
Small win during a move
I needed cheap stuff for a last-minute move and after getting burned by big US retailers I was wary. Took a chance here and the moment I knew I was actually happy was when the boxes arrived quickly and the little lamp and shelf worked right away. I was kind of surprised — packaging was decent and the price really helped. The site was a bit clunky but overall a pleasant, unexpected find.
Backup present hero
Halfway through wrapping a backup present I muttered, "this is a mess," but the second my son tore into the box and started laughing I felt relieved. I needed it for his birthday. The original package was late, I had to buy replacements at my expense, and customer service only gave canned replies. Not flawless, but it works and we made a happy memory.
Sneaky price, meh
I was just trying to grab two pullovers for everyday wear (dog walks, grocery runs) and the app made it sound like €5 each with a €10 free-delivery minimum—so I thought, okay. At checkout the total read €12 though, and that felt off. I canceled the order and deleted the app. Tried to find customer support — nothing helpful, delivery details were vague — so yeah, not worth the headache even if the stuff might be fine.
Unexpected delivery win
after a little back-and-forth I got a human who was patient and fixed a small issue, polite and helpful. The item itself could be a bit better, feels cheaper than photos, but overall the experience was better than I feared. Tip: try chat support early, it helps.
Overpromised, underdelivered
the whole thing was mishandled — ordered late August, got an email about customs delay (fine), then tracking showed the package in my area in early September and marked ready for pickup, but it just sat there, I waited, and waited. I filed a complaint, they asked for 48 hours to investigate and now say the refund won't be issued until mid-September. Dry, slow process. If you need items on time, look elsewhere — that's my advice.
Packages marked delivered but weren't
I remember opening my account notes months later—three packages showed as "delivered" on the courier site, but when I called them they said the boxes were still sitting in their warehouse. Temu refuses a refund because the tracking says delivered, and their support keeps promising to investigate and then nothing happens. I've dealt with other retailers that sorted this faster, so this dragged out way longer than it should have. Oddly, one courier agent admitted the mistake, but no pickup address was ever given. Frustrating.
Nice stuff, messy delivery rules
it hides which items will ship from local warehouses and the free shipping threshold doesn't apply across mixed shipments. So you think you're at the $25 minimum, then at the end it forces you to add more or pay extra because some items are counted differently. That back and forth cost me time and I reloaded the cart. Customer support was slow and vague when I asked; they eventually said it's due to split-warehouse shipping. Product's fine and cheap, but the delivery setup and support make it more hassle. Disappointing.
Sorting it out
Looking back, I'm glad I tried it — the order actually arrived and turned out fine, despite the confusing checkout. I started using the app a few weeks ago and at first it looked straightforward. Then, right before payment, it kept bumping the minimum from $25 to higher totals and split items into different warehouses, so you don't know what's covered. I wasted time filling the cart, checking things, and then being told to add more. Shipping ended up mostly free for my items though, and customer support answered a basic question. It's not as smooth as it used to be, but it worked out and I'm relieved. I might try again if they simplify checkout.
Almost there, not quite
Sat staring at the tracking page for ages. The box finally showed up after what felt like forever. Took long so expectations were low, but the item itself is okay — decent weight, fabric a bit thinner than the photos, zipper stiff at first but loosens after a few uses. Feels usable, not premium. Had to buy a backup locally for a birthday, which was annoying, because this would have worked fine if it had arrived on time. Customer contact is basically impossible, all automated replies, so you can't get a straight answer. If you're okay waiting months, fine. If you need it soon, don't. Little annoyed, honestly.
Left hanging after ordering
they keep opening new tickets, give the same vague answers, and it feels like talking to a scripted bot half the time. They did agree to send a reshipment and even to compensate me, but then radio silence, which is maddening when you rely on stuff for work and home. I still like the stuff when it shows up, and prices are tempting, but the delivery and service have been the real headache. Not bad overall, but frustrating and flaky.
Missing the one obvious detail
prioritize clear size charts — it'd save everyone time and money.
Long wait, thin answers
I had serious doubts before I clicked buy. I'd been burned by a cheap marketplace seller before and I needed this laptop for remote work after a move, so I was extra careful. The item never showed up. At first I hoped it was a fluke. Then I started dealing with customer care and things went sideways. A rep named Noel acknowledged the missing delivery and even agreed it was a problem, but that didn’t turn into a refund. Instead I got a lot of back-and-forth, shifting stories, and the same promise repeated. It’s clear the platform lets third-party sellers list stuff without much oversight. On the plus side, at least someone read my messages and admitted the issue, so you know it’s not ignored entirely. Still, I’m out time and patience. I’ve kept every message and I’ll keep pushing, but I can’t recommend buying something urgent from that marketplace right now.
Missing piece, then surprised relief
I felt heard and got a concrete fix. Not perfect, but enough for me to give them another shot, cautiously.
Good product, messy return
took photos, shot a short video, filed the claim, and sent it back. UPS shows the return scanned and in transit, so that part seems fine. The weird part is support: they reply quickly but their answer never changes — “we can’t refund until we inspect it” — with no estimate, no escalation, no one taking ownership. So I’m stuck without the item and still waiting on my money. That’s the one big problem here. On the flip side, the product itself seemed solid (before it arrived damaged) and the process is straightforward if you’re patient. My tip: pay by credit card, save screenshots, and keep that tracking number handy. I’m hopeful this will be cleared up — I’ll update once they issue a full refund including shipping and tax — but for now, expect some friction if you need a return.
Vanished tent, long chase
tracked from China, moving smoothly through borders, then it arrived in the UK and the tracking said “out for delivery” from EVRi’s depot. After that it just disappeared. That one line on the tracker felt like a promise that was broken; it’s oddly personal when something you paid good money for vanishes.
Cheap scooter, worse follow-up
$82.43. I spent about two months going back and forth with Temu and PayPal. Temu first sided with the seller and told me to get the rest from PayPal. PayPal said Temu was responsible for refunding the remainder. I escalated the claim with Temu again. They basically ignored the complaint about the seller and never removed them or disciplined them. I tried to be patient. I called, submitted forms, explained everything. Nothing changed. In the end I paid full price for a new scooter I returned unused and never got my full money back. It was frustrating and disappointing. I did tell a friend not to buy from that seller, and I won't be ordering big items from Temu again. Customer service did not address the issue properly, and the merchant's behavior felt dishonest. A small relief was the moment I boxed it up and knew I hadn't used it — at least I didn't keep something I didn't trust.
