Shirt
I bought this shirt that was really big on me. I wanted to return it, but the website was saying I needed to make an account to print a return label, and I couldn't even figure out how to do that! On top of that, they wanted to charge me $2.99 for the return. It was just too much trouble, so I ended up keeping the shirt.
Oversized Raincoat Purchase
I bought this really big raincoat online, but when it came, it was way too huge and not the right size at all. I couldn't find the receipt, so when I contacted customer service to get a refund, they said they didn't get the return. It was annoying because I just sent something back to another company and right away got confirmation. It seems like Threadbare's return process isn't very efficient.
Christmas gifts
I recently ordered some Christmas gifts from this store and I have to say, I was really disappointed with the service. I placed my order on November 16th, expecting it to arrive in 3-5 days, but I only got two out of the four items by November 28th. When I reached out to customer service, they didn't even know that two items were missing from my order. Then on December 5th, they told me the other items weren't even ready to be sent out yet. I decided to ask for a refund because I can't trust this store to deliver on time, especially with Christmas presents. It's important to mention that even though they sell through a well-known retailer, the items still come from their own warehouse, so don't be fooled into thinking it'll be any different.
trainers
I got these really awesome sneakers from this one store and I was so pumped to wear them. But man, can you believe that in less than three weeks they already started falling apart? The sole was coming off from the upper part, the insole was peeling off, and the heel was falling apart too! I wasn't even doing anything wild in them, just walking around like a normal person.
New jumper purchase
I was looking for a particular sweater that I just couldn't find in stores, so I thought I'd give the brand's website a try. Turns out, they had a ton of options, and I actually found a sweater I liked even more than the one I was originally hunting for. Ordering it was a breeze, and to my surprise, most of the sweaters were on sale. The delivery was fast, which is always a bonus. All in all, it was a pretty good experience.
Jacket
I bought a jacket from that store not too long ago, and boy, was I let down by how poorly made it was! I only wore it a handful of times before it started falling apart at the seams. When I tried to talk to customer service about it, they didn't seem to care at all once I told them I got it in-store. Long story short, I ended up with a jacket that's now just trash. I recommend steering clear of buying anything from there.
Dresses purchase
Oh my gosh, I was thinking about getting those adorable dresses, but when I read their return policy, it was seriously the worst. You only have 14 days to send it back, pay for shipping, and on top of that, they charge a fee for the refund! That is so not cool. After looking at the reviews and seeing they were all negative, I'm definitely staying away from that store!
Threadbare men's jackets
I bought a couple of men's jackets from this store not too long ago. Kind of a bummer because when I checked them out, I realized the linings were made of Nylon. Not a fan of that material because it can make me itchy, so I ended up returning them. It would be nice if they used a different fabric for their clothing.
Return due to sizing issues
I just had to send back some stuff I bought because it didn't fit, right? That happens. But what I don't get is why I had to pay for shipping and didn't even get a full refund. And on top of that, when I tried to talk to customer service, they totally ghosted me.
XL shirt, got L instead
I ordered this shirt in XL, but it came in an L instead, so it was too small for me. I was really excited to wear it, but it just didn't fit well. I tried to return it, but the process was so complicated that I decided to just keep it and give it to my little sister. Not cool at all!
New Blazer purchase
I recently bought a new blazer and it came super quickly, plus it fit me just right! It was a steal of a deal during the Black Friday sale. I might get it in a few more colors too.
Denim jacket and graphic t-shirt.
Even though this store has a lot of cool stuff and a big selection, my experience with their service was pretty disappointing. I got a denim jacket and a graphic tee, but when my package arrived, some stuff was missing. The worst part was that my order confirmation said everything was delivered, which made me feel confused and frustrated. On top of that, the t-shirt that did come had a hole in it, which was a big bummer. I tried reaching out to customer service about the missing items, but I haven't heard back yet. The fact that they haven't communicated with me or resolved the issue makes me hesitant to shop here again. They might have good social media ads, but it's obvious they need to work on their customer service.
Refund for a fraudulent item
I had to ask for a refund from this company because they sent me a fake item. It's been more than a month and I still haven't gotten my money back. I'm really upset about this and I suggest that other people steer clear of buying from them.
Ordered a shirt that was too small
I was so pumped to receive this new shirt I ordered online, but man, was I disappointed when it came and was way too small! Dealing with the return process was a hassle, and on top of that, I had to fork over extra cash to ship it back. I ended up being out $7 in the end. Such a letdown. I'd advise against buying from this place unless you're positive about the size you need!
Mixed feelings
The customer service was okay, but I wasn't happy with how the algorithm didn't really match my style. Some of the clothes seemed kind of cheap and I only want to keep 2 out of the 7 items I got. I'm planning to donate the rest.
Item color mix-up
The customer service was awesome when I realized the color of the item I received wasn't what I expected. They sorted it out really quickly and the item turned out to be good quality and stylish, but just not in the color I had in mind.
Quick delivery, easy returns
I got my order really quickly and it was no problem returning something. They fixed a mistake right away when they missed refunding one item. The only downside was paying for the return shipping, so I can't give them a perfect rating. But I would definitely shop here again!
Appropriate Quality Clothing
I just bought some clothes from this store and, gotta say, I'm pretty happy with what I got. The quality of the clothes was on par with what I paid, so no complaints there. They fit well and looked just like they did on the website. Only downside was some of the stuff in medium was sold out. And seriously, don't get why people gripe about the return policy when it's right there on the site. Do your homework before hitting that buy button, people!
No return policy
I was really surprised when I found out that this company doesn't allow returns unless the product is broken. Even though there are rules for distance sales that allow returns, they only take them if the item is faulty. This lack of flexibility is kind of a bummer and makes me think twice about buying from them in the future. It's crucial for customers to be able to return things if they're not happy, no matter the reason.
Expensive delivery and return fees
I'm really frustrated with this company! It's so annoying how they charge crazy high fees for delivery and also make you pay to return stuff for an exchange. It's just not right that customers have to spend almost $20 just to get the right item. They really need to fix their exchange system soon because this is just not okay. It's really disappointing that customers are the ones who lose out. I'm definitely going to find somewhere else to shop.
