First time user, met or exceeded my expectations
Wow, I just tried out 7shifts for the first time and it was amazing! It really helped me stay on top of my business and make sure things were running smoothly. Couldn't believe how user-friendly it was and how much it benefited me. I'm definitely going to continue using it going forward!
Best scheduling platform
This scheduling platform is amazing! It's honestly the best one available for the price. It's totally worth every cent and even more valuable than the ones with fewer features. It saves me a ton of time and headaches when I need to organize my schedule. I can't imagine using anything else at this point!

This software for staff schedules has been a game-changer for my business. It's made things so much easier and has really helped with keeping my team on the same page. Even though my team is small, I can still easily print out schedules with the free version. The platform is user-friendly and perfect for businesses in hospitality, so I definitely recommend it.
Employee scheduling and availability management
7shifts has really changed the game for me when it comes to scheduling and managing my team's availability. It used to be a real pain spending 5 hours every week on this task, but now I can get it done in just over an hour. The old request off calendar is a thing of the past - now my team can easily ask for time off right from their phones. No more endless phone calls about call-outs or getting shifts covered - now it's as easy as a click of a button, and someone usually picks up the shift. All I have to do is give it the okay. The system even lets me know if there are multiple people interested in a shift, which helps me keep an eye on potential overtime problems. These time-saving features have really improved how I work, and I'm amazed by all the extra stuff 7shifts can do beyond just scheduling and availability management.
New client experience
As a new client, I was really hoping for a smooth transition and great support from the team at 7shifts. The onboarding staff did help me out, but I've had some trouble getting the assistance I need when I reach out for help. Specifically, when I email certain staff members, I don't always get a response or follow-up on important things like verifying tip distribution for payroll. Last week, when we were supposed to run payroll for the first time with 7shifts, I didn't get the guidance and support I needed to make sure everything went smoothly. Instead, they just sent me a video link for help, which wasn't enough for such an important task. Sadly, this lack of service made me go back to my old payroll provider, which defeats the purpose of switching to 7shifts. Overall, my experience as a new client has been pretty disappointing because of the poor communication and support from the 7shifts team.
Overpriced plans
The customer service here is really lacking, with all those generic responses and slow communication. And don't even get me started on their constant push for sales, it's so annoying. Plus, their reporting doesn't go deep enough to be really useful.
Payroll management
The app has really saved us in our business by giving us everything we need to handle payroll smoothly. But, when it comes to getting help, it's not so great. The app is easy to use and has lots of helpful features, but the customer service is a letdown. It can take a while to get our problems fixed, and reaching the right person by phone is tough. If they work on making their support better, it would make a big difference in how we feel about the app.
Schedule platform for team communication
The scheduling platform is awesome for keeping track of shifts and talking to my team. But, I've had some problems trying to reach customer support and linking the platform with other tools I use. Even though they've given me suggestions, it feels like there's not enough help from 7shifts in fixing these problems.

Basically, this software just makes life a whole lot simpler for everybody.
Inaccurate schedules
The schedules we get on paper are always wrong, which really confuses and annoys the staff. There have been many times when people were left off the schedule, forcing us to quickly shuffle things around or even tell them to go home. This disorganization has made some employees want to quit because of all the mistakes and frustrations. Unfortunately, 7Shifts hasn't been able to fix this problem, so we're left to handle it ourselves.
Efficient team management tool
7shifts has been super important for our business over the last 6 years. It helps us keep on top of scheduling shifts and managing our team. We ran into a problem with our account recently, but the support team was quick to respond and fix it within a day. Their customer service is really great and we're very happy with the help they provide.
Projected labor tracking
I really liked how I could use the labor tracking feature to plan my employees' schedules easily, but now it's gone without warning after the update. I tried to get help from customer support, but they couldn't fix the problem. I'm frustrated and disappointed with the lack of explanation and bad customer service.
Remote workforce scheduling software
As a manager of a remote workforce, I was looking for scheduling software that could handle employees in different time zones. I found this software and thought it was great at first. But I got frustrated when I saw that customer service wasn't available when I needed it in Alaska. The chat support was closed, and when I tried to cancel my subscription, it was tough to get through, and they made me wait for an appointment. This limited availability during my work hours really affected my experience with the software.

This meal schedule management software is absolutely amazing! The support team is incredible - they're professional, super knowledgeable, and so helpful. They not only respond quickly and solve problems efficiently, but they also make it easy to find past conversations for reference. The software itself is fantastic, with smooth integrations and fast problem-solving. I'm really pleased with how well this software has worked for me.
Time off request issue
It's been a couple of months now and I'm still not getting any notifications when staff ask for time off or swap shifts. Every time I ask about it, they keep saying they're working on fixing it. I mainly use the scheduling feature, which is pretty cool. However, the price increased a lot recently, so now I'm thinking about switching to something else.
Alphabetizing, visibility, multiple roles
As a customer, it's frustrating that the system doesn't automatically alphabetize schedules or staff lists. It would be so much easier to find what I need quickly. Also, it's a hassle that back-of-house (BOH) and front-of-house (FOH) staff schedules aren't visible to each other. It would help everyone to know who's working where for smooth operations. This inconvenience is even tougher for those who juggle multiple roles in the company.
Easy scheduling and communication
I love how simple it is to create a schedule and send it out with just one click. No more dealing with text messages, written notes, and emails to stay on top of everyone's availability. The team really likes getting those daily reminders before their shift, being able to chat with coworkers, and smoothly put in their availability or request time off. And the feature of sending messages to the whole staff or specific groups? That's a total game-changer!
Subscription plan changes
I'm so frustrated that they raised the price so much! We loved using the platform, but now it's just too expensive for both our locations. It doesn't seem right that we have to shell out hundreds of dollars more now. It feels like they're taking advantage of us! It's really disappointing because we enjoyed using it, but we might have to cancel.
Shift scheduling software
As a customer, I gotta say I'm pretty disappointed with the scheduling tool this service offers. The log book and labor cost visibility are helpful, but the actual scheduling tool is a total mess. It's obvious that they didn't think about usability when they designed it. It's annoying that employees with different roles in the same department can only be listed under one role on the schedule. I have to keep scrolling through to figure out who's working which role on which day. I even had to make a separate excel spreadsheet just to make sure I didn't mess up transferring the schedule to 7shifts. The page is too cluttered with unnecessary info when all I really need to see are names, hours, and roles. They should add an option to easily turn off labor projections to clean things up while making the schedule. It's nice that availability is shown, but it could be simpler and easier to navigate.
POS system compatibility
My experience with 7shifts was kind of a letdown, honestly. I had some trouble getting all my data transferred from my POS system automatically. Even though I was careful with the setup, I found out after a month that not everything made it over like it was supposed to. It was super frustrating and messed with how smoothly things were running in my business.
