Issue with billing
I had a really bad time with this company's billing. I asked them to pause my service for a bit, but then they started charging me again without telling me. Even though I wasn't using the phone, they won't give me my money back. It's not cool and makes them look bad. Customers shouldn't have to deal with this kind of stuff.
Cell phone purchase
I'm really bummed about the terrible customer support and the overall quality of this product. The cell service is hit or miss, definitely not as good as some other choices out there. Plus, the camera quality is just not cutting it - my daughter can't take good photos at all. We're checking out different phones that will give her better pictures and more apps. And the fact that this phone doesn't work well with other service providers is a big issue for us too.
Unreliable product
I bought something from this company and man, it was a total letdown. I tried getting in touch with customer service a bunch of times, but they couldn't fix the problem. The person they assigned to help me, Sterling, was no help at all. And don't even get me started on the response from the CEO - it was just as bad. This company needs to own up to their mistakes and stop being shady. I wish I never gave them my business and I definitely think others should stay away.
Account deactivation
I had a really tough time trying to deactivate my account with this company. It literally took forever, like almost a whole year, to actually get them to cancel my service. I was getting billed every single month for something I wasn't even using, and even after I finally got it cancelled, they wouldn't give me a refund. In the end, it was just a letdown dealing with this company.
Smartwatch with GPS feature
I recently bought a smartwatch with GPS for my son's Christmas gift. Sadly, it ended up being a total bust. The GPS was not reliable at all, which defeated the whole point of the watch. On top of that, the watch just stopped working not long after he got it. When I tried to get help from customer service, they were no help at all and just gave me the runaround. They also kept reminding me about the 2-year contract and early termination fee every time I called. If you're thinking about buying from this company, I suggest looking elsewhere to save yourself some money and time.
Disappointing phone experience
I'm pretty bummed about the phone I bought because it didn't live up to what I was hoping for. I had it for about 4 months and during that time, I was always having problems with it. I had to reach out to customer service multiple times, but even after all their attempts to fix it, the issue of the phone not getting messages kept happening. I tried to troubleshoot by getting a new SIM card and even replacing the phone, but none of it worked. The whole experience was just one setback after another, dealing with technical problems left and right, and in the end, I just regret buying it.
Gabb Wireless phone
I got my kid a Gabb Wireless phone for their birthday, and wouldn't you know it, the power button decided to quit on us after just a week. Talk about a major bummer! My 12-year-old was definitely not having it, especially since they were so pumped about their new phone. I reached out to customer service, and they were pretty good about getting a replacement sent our way. Still, all the back and forth was a bit of a headache.
Phone stopped charging
The phone just stopped charging after barely 10 months of use, so I called customer service for help. Even after showing them photos and following all their troubleshooting advice, they were convinced that the phone had water damage. I argued against their claim because I saw no evidence of water damage, but they were fixated on a silver spot that they said was red. When I offered to send a clearer picture to show that it wasn't red, they brushed it off and just recommended I buy another phone from them. In the end, I was let down by the poor quality of the product and the lackluster customer service.
Children's phone
I was happy with the phone at first, but then started having problems with MMS messages displaying as "Download Message" and coming in out of order. Eventually, we couldn't download messages at all, and some texts and calls weren't showing up. The location feature also stopped working, and customer service couldn't fix it. I wouldn't suggest this phone for kids.
My phone purchase
Hey, I just got this awesome new phone from them and it's amazing. They even have "Gabb Music Plus" with all the features I was looking for. Definitely my best purchase ever! #sohappy
Gabb phone
I've had a really bad experience with the Gabb phone. It keeps breaking down, so I can't make calls or send texts. I spend so much time trying to fix it every month. And the customer service hasn't been helpful at all. I wouldn't suggest getting a Gabb phone to anyone.
Dumb phone service
Even though the phone was just okay, the whole thing was pretty underwhelming because of all the extra fees and hassle of cancelling. It felt like the price wasn't worth what I was getting, especially with all the surprise charges that made it seem too expensive. When I tried to cancel ahead of time, I got hit with unexpected fees that ended up being more than if I just kept the service. The cancellation fee wasn't clear, and the charges that kept coming after I asked to cancel felt like they were just trying to squeeze more money out of me. Next time, I'll go with a different cell phone provider that's more reliable.
Replacement phone
I got a new phone from this store after my old one went missing. I was really bummed out because it had all my games and pictures on it. But the person I talked to on the phone was super nice and helped me pick out a new one. They even walked me through all the tech stuff when my new phone was acting up. Gabb is awesome!
Communication device for child
This communication device is a real mess. It's cut my child off from their friends, and my husband and I feel more distant too. It's like a virus spreading in our family. Trying to get help from customer service is a lost cause - our calls go unanswered for months. I'm even starting to consider extreme options like adoption. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this product.
Buggy phones, poor call quality
The phones are just not that great. The sound cuts out on the music app unless you use a Bluetooth speaker. When I mentioned this problem, they accused me of dropping the phone. And during calls, the phones get so hot it's hard to have a long conversation. The call quality and sound are pretty low. There are other phones out there that are better and cheaper, even if they don't have internet browsers or social media apps.
Gabb Wireless Purchase
I just have to say, my experience with Gabb Wireless wasn't great. The customer service was awful, and I wouldn't suggest their service to anyone. The phone I got for my relative didn't go over well and just ended up causing more trouble. I wish I had looked into it more before buying it.
Gabb Wireless phone
As a parent worried about how much time my kid spends on screens, I gave Gabb Wireless a shot for around 6 months. The phone is pretty simple, but it did the job of keeping my child connected without all the smartphone distractions. But, I thought the price was too steep for what you get. Dealing with customer service was a letdown – they took forever to respond and weren't very helpful. The website wasn't easy to use and didn't have all the info I needed. Honestly, I don't think Gabb Wireless is trying to step up their game.
Two phones for my kids
I bought two phones for my kids not long ago, thinking they would really like them. But when I had to return them for some unexpected reasons, they hit me with a bunch of fees. They took out a restocking fee, an activation fee, and even something called a "mothers day fee" from my refund, so I ended up with way less money than I started with. It really makes me think twice about buying from them in the future.
Affordable smartwatches
The smartwatches I bought were cheap, but honestly, they just didn't stack up to other brands out there. Dealing with customer service was a major headache - it felt like pulling teeth trying to get any sort of assistance or answers. If you're after something that won't break the bank and you don't have high hopes, maybe give these smartwatches a shot. Otherwise, I'd steer clear.
Phone purchase with a live chat option
Man, this company is just terrible! I totally tried to use the live chat to talk to a real person, but it kept failing on me. And seriously, there isn't even a phone number you can call, that's really sketchy. Well, forget it, I'm canceling my order ASAP.
