    Booking villa, terrible experience

    I reserved a super awesome villa for my family vacation, but when we arrived, it was a complete disaster! The owner didn't know we were coming and the place was a wreck. Apparently, they weren't even supposed to be renting it out anymore. We had to quickly find another place to stay, which ended up costing us more money we hadn't budgeted for. And dealing with getting a refund has been a nightmare - it feels like we're stuck in a never-ending loop of waiting for someone to assist us!

    Belvilla booking experience

    My experience booking with Belvilla was pretty good. The website was easy to use, and the booking process was smooth and quick. But, I ran into a problem when I found the same property I booked on Belvilla was also listed on other sites like Airbnb. I contacted Belvilla through Airbnb and they confirmed the property was still available. It made me question how reliable and exclusive booking with Belvilla really is. Now, I'm concerned about how this issue will be sorted out before my summer stay.

    Booking experience Villa with Pool

    Hey, just a heads up - Belvilla can be a bit sketchy. I thought I was getting this awesome villa with a pool but then they hit me with some excuse about "operational" issues and now they're trying to pass off a dinky mobile home with only 30m² as the same thing. Like, seriously? That's not even close to what I signed up for. Definitely would not recommend dealing with them.

    Holiday ruined

    My family and I were really looking forward to our vacation in Tuscany this February. We found a great villa online and were excited to stay there. But then, they pulled a bait and switch on us, redirecting us to another site to pay a deposit. And in April, they hit us with the news that they didn't have space for us after all, canceling our booking. Can you believe it? They offered us three other options that just weren't the same. And now, they're dragging their feet on giving us our money back. It's frustrating, to say the least.

    Our stay was awesome! The place was so big, updated, and really clean. It had everything we needed for a great vacation. The pool area was amazing, especially for families with kids since it was safe and well-kept. Plus, the location was perfect - close to bars and restaurants. We're definitely coming back for another amazing trip.

    Disappointing Booking Experience

    I wouldn't recommend going with this company. The place we reserved was a huge disappointment all the way through. When we got there, we saw a messy property that looked nothing like the pictures online. The absence of simple things like wifi made it hard for me to get any work done while we were there, which was really annoying. The whole place was subpar - hardly any decorations and the furniture was not comfy at all. Even the way the bedrooms were set up didn't give us much privacy. We had to fork out more money to find somewhere else to stay since this spot just wasn't cutting it for us.

    Booking refund delay

    I had to cancel a booking with this company recently, and although canceling was super easy, the problem came when I was supposed to get my refund. I canceled way before the deadline for a free cancel, but it's been over a month now and I still haven't gotten my money back. I've tried reaching out to customer service a few times, but I haven't gotten a good answer or solution. It's pretty frustrating to deal with such poor communication and efficiency from a company that claims to care about their customers.

    Booked vacation in Spain for July, got canceled

    I actually booked a vacation back in February for a two-week trip to Spain in July. I put a deposit down and even got airplane tickets for me and 6 other people. But guess what? On May 25th, they hit me with the worst news - they canceled our whole reservation! I am beyond frustrated because they didn't give me any explanation or try to help out with a backup plan. To make matters worse, no one was around to answer my calls or chat messages. It's just a mess.

    Accommodation booking experience

    I had a really frustrating and disappointing experience booking accommodation through this company. I made a reservation for a holiday way ahead of time, but then last minute they told me the property wasn't available. The other options they offered didn't work for me, and I couldn't change the dates because I already had plans set up. It was really disappointing how they weren't reliable and didn't communicate properly.

    Last-minute cancellation

    I had a terrible experience with trying to cancel a vacation home rental in the Ardennes at the last minute. I didn't get the codes for the house, and when I contacted them for help, it was hard to get a response. Finally, while we were on our way, I got an email saying the house wasn't available because of issues with operations. It really messed up our weekend plans, and we were left feeling upset and let down. I definitely won't be using that company to book anything ever again.

    My stay options

    The variety of places to stay was pretty good and fun to look through. But, it would've been nice if they had a layout showing all the options so you could pick without having to spend a ton of time searching through pictures. The website was really slow and kind of annoying. Plus, the map feature was a pain because it kept zooming out when I was trying to get a closer view, showing only half of Europe.

    Booking process smooth

    I had a really easy time booking, no issues or confusing questions. It all went smoothly from beginning to end. One thing I think could be better is letting customers give a second email for sending documents. I tried using a different email than my login but all the documents still went to the email on my account.

    Cancelled booking

    I had a really bad experience the other day when my booking got canceled out of the blue. It was super stressful because I had everything planned out for my vacation and where I was gonna stay. Now I'm just sitting here waiting for a refund, which is making me even more annoyed. I definitely wouldn't recommend booking with this company again.

    Booking experience German communication issue

    My experience with this company was so frustrating. They say they welcome German guests, but only communicate in English. On top of that, they asked for more money than we agreed on. When we had to cancel due to illness, we got a cancellation confirmation right away, but still no refund. None of the email addresses we have work, and everyone involved (VRBO, the company, and the property owners) are blaming each other. If I had read the reviews first, I would never have booked with them. Now I'm left saying "Never again!" and trying to figure out how to get my money back. Just really frustrating and disappointing.

    I... rented this amazing apartment online and paid in advance. But, the day before my stay, they just canceled for no reason! They claimed they refunded me, but it's been over 6 weeks and I haven't gotten my money back. Isn't that shady? I'm really disappointed, Belvilla is a total scam!

    Amazing two-week stay

    We had an awesome time at this place! The apartment was super nice with a great layout, it was quiet, and we didn't have any trouble finding parking. We had everything we needed right there, or we could easily get it nearby. It had all the basics to make our stay super comfortable.

    The website was pretty easy to get around and had some good info. But I was kind of bummed that we had to book from Saturday to Saturday because that's what the property owner wanted. It was a bit of a hassle, but the house and service were really great, so we decided to just go with it this time.

    Family celebration ruined

    I rented a big house for 24 people back in December to throw a party for my husband's 70th birthday with all our family. Everyone made sure to keep that weekend free. But then in April, I got a message saying they had to cancel our reservation because of some issues they were having. I tried asking for more info but got no reply. We had to wait almost a month to get our refund. The service was really terrible. We won't be using them again, that's for sure!

    So, I had this house with a private pool all lined up for months through this place, but then they went and canceled on us and only had some lousy options to offer. Had to scramble to find a new place on our own. And get this - we're home owners, so we get a 20% discount, but they wouldn't budge on giving us any extra discount for the hassle of the cancellation. Not cool, man.
