    Weekend getaway reservation

    They did the same thing to me - asking for my ID after I already booked, it seemed like a scam. And to top it off, just two days before I was supposed to stay, they go ahead and cancel my reservation outta nowhere. Who even does that? They said they don't provide services at that spot anymore, but then they turn around and suggest booking me in a different room. Such a disaster.

    I had a really bad experience with this company. They took my reservation and payment over the phone but wouldn't cancel it unless they spoke directly to the person traveling. Their system is so inflexible and it was super frustrating to deal with. Booking a place to stay shouldn't be this difficult, and I was really disappointed with how little management seemed to be around.

    Barcelona holiday booking

    I just booked a trip to Barcelona using this service, but now I'm freaking out because it looks like my data might have been breached. So, I went through all the security steps for my stay at Placa Reial with Sonder. Then, I got an email saying a new bank account had been opened in my name at a currency exchange bank. It's really got me on edge because Sonder is the only one who had my ID details. Right now, I'm waiting for Sonder to look into this whole mess, but I recommend being careful about giving them your personal info until they sort this out.

    Accommodation booking issue

    My stay at this place was a complete nightmare. When I made the reservation, they said they would hold $250 on my account until after my stay and then give it back. But even after I checked out and waited for 2 weeks, I still didn't get my money. I tried calling my bank and reaching out to Sonder customer service, but nobody could help me or confirm the refund. This has truly been the worst place I've ever stayed at, and I definitely won't be returning.

    Room reservation experience

    I had a really bad experience with them. They don't give refunds for cancellations and their IT system is so slow that you can't cancel reservations. I lost my money because they're not flexible and their service is terrible. I wouldn't recommend booking with them.

    Booking trouble in Amsterdam

    I was really looking forward to our stay in Amsterdam, but things took a turn for the worse the night before we were supposed to check-in. We were in a panic because we still hadn't received all the check-in details, so I reached out to customer service. After waiting forever, they finally sent us the information, but then they went ahead and canceled our reservation out of the blue! They claimed our payment was suspicious, even though we already paid. To make matters worse, I couldn't even get through to anyone on their chat because my account was locked. When we tried calling the numbers they provided, they didn't work in Europe! The person on the phone was super rude, didn't offer an apology, and just kept saying he couldn't help. It was such a nightmare that we had to cancel our entire vacation because of this mess!

    Sonder experience

    My recent stay at this place was a huge letdown. A week after I left, I got an email saying I was getting charged for a wrecked sofa, even though we hardly even sat on it. This seemed sketchy because they didn't show any proof.<br>Plus, I asked for early check-in a bunch of times due to tech issues, but still had to wait when I got there. The furniture in the room was falling apart, like a broken table that looked like it was glued back together poorly.<br>On top of that, even though we booked a room with a view of the famous building, we could only see it if we squished our faces against the window at just the right angle. The misleading info and lack of honesty about the perks really ticked me off.<br>I won't be coming back to stay here again.

    They really messed up my bookings and wouldn't fix it. The customer service rep was no help at all when I called. They cancelled my early check-in without even asking me. I had to call a toll-free number for help, but no luck. ??

    Short term rental stay

    I was trying to find a short term rental that would make my life easier but boy was I let down. Not having a washing machine was a huge pain. And don't even get me started on the air conditioning cutting out in the middle of the night! The staff was totally useless and there wasn't even any toothpaste in sight. I felt like I just threw my money away with this place. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of it.

    Recent hotel stay

    I stayed at this place recently and had a really bad experience. I was shocked to find out that the workers there don't get breaks, which goes against California labor laws. It's just not right and shows they don't respect their employees. Also, when I made my reservation, I saw that the room photos didn't match what was actually there and the amenities weren't as promised. When I tried to bring up my issues, the way I was treated was unprofessional and the customer service was not good enough. It's clear that this company doesn't treat their Housekeeping staff well and cleanliness isn't a top priority. My whole stay was disappointing and frustrating. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

    Hotel stay disappointment

    I stayed at a hotel recently that was a total disaster. They didn't clean my room, had awful customer service, and didn't give me a VAT receipt for my work trip. Because of this, my stay cost 20% more than I planned. I could have stayed at a fancy 5-star hotel for what I paid here. I definitely wouldn't suggest this hotel to anyone. Stay away at all costs!

    Stay at a cool place

    I stayed at this place and let me tell you, there was a creepy hand print on the wall in my room! Not only that, but I had to haul myself out of the building two times in the dead of night because of emergencies. And don't even get me started on the leaky kitchen situation! When I tried to talk to customer service about all this craziness, they were totally rude and wouldn't even consider giving me a refund. I've had issues with them in the past and honestly, they are the absolute worst!

    Misrepresented rental property

    I reserved a two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment in downtown Minneapolis for New Year's Eve weekend. Turns out, the place was way different from what the pictures and description showed. There was only one bathroom, and the second "bedroom" was actually a tiny room with no window, closet, or ventilation. Definitely not ideal for four grown-ups. Feeling bummed out and tired from all the hassle of dealing with inaccurate details.

    Stay in Fort Lauderdale

    The place I booked in Fort Lauderdale was super loud. They even had ear plugs and a noise machine in the room, so you know they were expecting it to be noisy. There were trains passing by and parties nearby that just wouldn't quit - especially that loud train at 3 AM. Plus, the pool area had no rules being enforced - people were walking around with glass cups and smoking weed, talk about gross. The whole place just reeked. And don't even get me started on the crazy parking fees, way too expensive. I had a terrible time and definitely won't stay there again.

    Spacious, well-appointed room with a kitchen

    I stayed at this place recently and I gotta say, the room was way bigger than I expected and the kitchen was nice and fancy. The pictures online didn't even do it justice. Being able to whip up my own meals easily was a huge bonus for me while I was there. I didn't really need to use any of the extra stuff or talk to the staff, but everything seemed to be good to go. The gym seemed pretty standard for a hotel gym and I didn't have any problems getting in or with the Wi-Fi connection. All in all, a really awesome experience at this place.

    Stayed at a fancy place for a week

    We stayed at the most amazing hotel. The folks there were so friendly and our rooms were top-notch, exactly like the photos. The process for booking and checking in was a bit strange, so be sure to read all the details beforehand. We did have to cancel and rebook, but they promptly refunded our money as promised.

    My stay downtown

    I hung out downtown for a bit and it was actually pretty nice. The building was old and had some issues with the elevator, kitchen, bathroom, fire alarm, and even the WiFi, but the folks who assisted us were really pleasant. It was a bit odd how the fire alarm team members would pop into our room without knocking - kinda creepy. But overall, it was a good experience.

    Collection of facial and fingerprints for stay

    I just stayed at this place and was totally caught off guard by the fact that they wanted my facial and fingerprint info to give to another company. They never told me about this beforehand, and I was really uncomfortable with it. Even though three different people told me it wouldn't be needed, turns out that was totally false. I felt so let down and tricked by Sonder not being upfront and honest with me.

    So, I went ahead and booked this hotel on that site and can you believe they made me pay upfront for a free cancellation option? I mean, seriously, who does that? There was no heads up at all, and they were totally unhelpful. I've booked hotels many times and this has never happened to me before. It's just not cool.

    A Home Away from Home

    I recently had the opportunity to stay at a Sonder property for a business trip and I have to say, my experience was fantastic. From the moment I booked the reservation through their website, the process was seamless and easy. I appreciated the detailed information provided about the property and the surrounding area, as well as the ability to communicate with the Sonder team through their app.

    The property itself exceeded my expectations. It was clean, well-maintained, and had all the amenities I needed. The decor was modern and stylish, and it truly felt like a home away from home. The location was perfect, close to public transportation and within walking distance to great restaurants and shops.

    The best part of my experience with Sonder, however, was their customer service. Anytime I had a question or concern, the team was quick to respond and went above and beyond to make sure I had a comfortable stay. They even went out of their way to accommodate a last-minute change in my travel plans.

    Overall, I highly recommend Sonder to anyone looking for a comfortable and stylish home away from home. I will definitely be using their services again in the future.
