I almost didn't renew this fall. I had real doubts before I clicked yes. I’ve been a member for years, and opening three boxes in the past few weeks didn’t help. Two boxes were missing four items each, the third was missing two. My first impression was frustration — the packing looked thrown together, messy. I filed tickets and waited. Support was slow and sometimes non-existent. Two issues are still unresolved. Last season I discovered an Augustinus Bader hair product was expired; the brand confirmed it. I reported that and expected a refund. Instead they gave store credit, which feels like they’re holding my cash hostage until I buy again. Founders rarely reply in the forum even when tagged. That said, one shipment arrived earlier than expected and one item, when it finally showed up, was actually great quality — a small surprise. I have two subscriptions through spring and summer 2026. If there aren’t real improvements, I won’t renew after eight years.
Mid-move surprise that turned out okay
the main box came plain, no tissue or little extras, and my seven add‑ons didn’t show up. The tracking info they sent me didn’t appear on my account either, so I was left guessing if anything had actually shipped. Customer service felt robotic at first — like, canned replies — which made me roll my eyes. But after pushing a bit I got a real person who actually listened, confirmed what was missing, and arranged credits and replacements. The add‑ons arrived later than expected, and yeah, the packing wasn’t fancy, but everything arrived intact the second time. I’m thankful they handled it; having someone fix things while I’m unpacking and sore made a bigger difference than I expected. Price felt fair for what I kept, and I appreciated the credit for the trouble. Would I order again? Probably — I like the surprise and the convenience, and their service turned a messy start into a decent experience. Small bumps, but overall glad I gave it another shot.
Late to the good stuff
mismatched stemless glasses, a cheap coaster pack, a pair of sheet masks you can get at Walmart for a few bucks. It’s not that those things are inherently bad, but they don’t feel like a pamper — they feel like leftovers. I’d have preferred a better mix or at least a fair shot to pick something nice.
Disappointing Spring Box
I'm a loyal customer and was looking forward to getting my spring box, but when it came, I was pretty disappointed. I picked out my preferences, but all I got was shampoo and conditioner. It wasn't very exciting and made me wonder if it's worth the money I pay each month. I was hoping for some cool new products, but all I got were basic things I could find at any store. I was thinking about giving FabFitFun as gifts to my daughter-in-laws, but now I'm not so sure. I expected more from a service that claims to send out carefully selected, high-quality items.
Late delivery but great customer service
Even though my box hasn't arrived yet and that's frustrating, I have to admit that the customer service was really impressive. The team handled my concerns well, despite a strange interaction with someone I thought was an AI named Josh. They were able to resolve the issue quickly. It's great to see a company that values their customers and provides excellent service, even when facing challenges like delayed deliveries.
Subscription box purchase
I just have to say, this subscription box is seriously amazing! I'm absolutely in love with it. The products they send in each box are seriously top-notch and super high-quality. I'm always impressed by the variety of items they include, and I always end up finding something new and exciting to try. Plus, their customer service is top-notch - every time I've had a question or issue, they've been quick to respond and have always given me helpful solutions. Damaged order, quick refund
My order came damaged, but let me tell you about how awesome the customer service team was! All I had to do was snap a picture or video of the messed up stuff and they gave me a refund right away. It stunk that I couldn't use my candles, but the amazing customer service totally won me over as a customer for life.
Subscription box
I just want to say that I am a huge fan of this subscription box. Every time I get my box, I'm always pumped to see what awesome stuff they've chosen for me. From makeup to workout gear, there's always something cool to check out. I love the thrill of not knowing what's inside until I open it up. The products are top-notch and I've never been disappointed with what I've received. I seriously think this subscription box is worth every penny.
Cancelled membership, ongoing dissatisfaction
I had to cancel my membership because I've had three terrible incidents with this company. The staff is nice when you call them, but the company isn't fixing the problem. They think throwing 10 bucks at the issue will make everything better, but it doesn't. I'm not happy with how they handle things, so I had to say bye-bye to my membership.
Disappointing Vera Bradley box
I tried out the Vera Bradley box from FabFitFun this spring, thinking I'd get $100 worth of goodies, but all I got was a lousy notebook. It was a huge disappointment and now I'm not convinced about keeping my subscription. Feels like I wasted my money and won't be sticking with FabFitFun.
Replacement Box with Different Items
I just had a problem with my order - my package never showed up. Luckily, FabFitFun customer service was fast in sending me a replacement, but it turned out that the items I originally wanted were no longer in stock. It was a bummer not getting what I had originally picked out.
Subscription box disappointment
I just bought a subscription box and was bummed out because the company doesn't send their stuff in those cool colorful boxes anymore. I get that they wanna make customers happy, but I really liked their fun packaging. Hopefully, they'll think about bringing back those unique shipping boxes again.

I've been a loyal customer for over a year now and I've always been impressed with the products and service I receive. I love the variety of items in each box - it's always a nice surprise. The packaging could maybe be a bit faster, but I'm not too worried about it. I recently had an item missing from my order, but customer service took care of it quickly and efficiently. I recently signed up for the annual membership and was really looking forward to getting my first box. But I ran into some issues when trying to customize what would be in the next box. That wasn't very helpful for me since I don't use social media much. I felt left out and kind of disappointed that there weren't any other options for me.
When I saw a sneak peek of what would be in the next box, I realized that the items might not fit my preferences and lifestyle. Things like cocktail shakers and bottle stoppers wouldn't be useful for me since I keep a sober home. While I like the idea of getting a mix of products, the selection didn't really match what I was looking for. Damaged product credit
I had a problem with something I bought from FabFitFun not too long ago. When it showed up at my door all messed up, I was pretty bummed out. But I figured I'd give their customer service a shot, so I hit them up through the app. And let me tell ya, I was shocked at how fast they got back to me and how they took care of the problem right away. They gave me a credit for the messed up product in no time. I gotta give it to them, they really care about their customers and making things right. Thanks a bunch, FabFitFun, for coming through with the awesome customer service!
Quick resolution of damaged item
I've been a customer for a while now, so it was kind of a bummer to get a damaged item in my last order. But the good news is, customer service took care of it right away and said they'd send me a new one ASAP. I haven't gotten it just yet, but I trust it'll show up soon.
"Horrible cancellation process"
I signed up for a subscription, but I ended up wanting to cancel it. My mom recently passed away, and I just couldn't handle receiving those boxes anymore. Canceling was such a hassle - I had to keep talking to customer service over and over again. I really wish they were more empathetic and didn't make it so tough for me to cancel.
Customer service experience
I was really happy with the customer service at this company. Their texting customer service was so easy to use and everyone I talked to was super helpful, nice, and patient. Even though I'm not great with technology, they fixed my problem quickly and gave me a refund the next day. I also liked that they let me exchange items for credit, it made shopping there even better. I can't thank them enough for their awesome service.
Disappointed purchase
I had such a terrible experience with this purchase! It took forever to hear back from customer service after my package arrived in awful condition. Several items were damaged due to really bad packaging. I had to send pictures, make calls, and list all the ruined items just to get nowhere on a replacement or refund. I've been a loyal customer since 2017, and I expected much better. The delivery time was terrible, the price wasn't worth it, and the products were overshadowed by the poor handling. I'm done with this company and won't be recommending it to anyone.
