Guitar accessories
I really thought this company would have great customer service. But man, the ordering process was a mess. My account info had mistakes and everything was taking forever. They hardly communicated with me, I had to bug them multiple times just to hear back. The service was not great, and their prices were way too high. I could have got the same stuff for cheaper somewhere else. And to top it off, my delivery was super late and the items were messed up. Such a letdown overall.
Regular string purchase
I love shopping at Sweetwater because their customer service is top-notch. Even when I just order guitar strings, they always call to make sure I got everything okay and that I'm happy with my purchase. It's that extra touch that sets them apart from other music stores. And even though their prices might be a little higher sometimes, I think it's worth it for the great customer service. My son recently told me he wants to start playing the electric bass guitar, and as a parent who doesn't know much about music or instruments, I had no clue where to start. So, I decided to call up Sweetwater and ended up talking to a guy named Zach. Right off the bat, Zach was super helpful and understanding of my lack of knowledge. He took the time to listen to my concerns and needs, and then gave me some great advice on what type of electric bass guitar would be best for my son, all without trying to sell me anything unnecessary. Zach not only offered options within my budget, he also recommended some useful accessories for a beginner like my son. It was clear to me that Sweetwater really cares about their customers and wants to create lasting relationships with them.
Delayed order
I've been a loyal customer of this company for a while now, but I'm starting to think about going somewhere else. It looks like they're putting all their focus on giving products to YouTube influencers for free, which means the rest of us are stuck waiting a long time for things that are out of stock. Since the company was taken over by a new one, it's been tougher to find a good deal and customer service has gone downhill. It's annoying to watch influencers get treated so well while the rest of us have to pay full price and wait forever for our stuff.
