I recently bought two pairs of shoes from this store. Unfortunately, I had a problem with the sizing. One pair fit perfectly and looked great, but the other pair, even though it was supposed to be the same size, was too small. It would have been helpful to know the brand of the shoes beforehand so I could compare the sizing with what I already know about that brand. Because of the sizing issue, I had to pay to return one pair. I vaguely remember something about return shipping costs when I ordered, but I didn't realize I would have to cover those expenses.
Cashmere sweaters
I just got a few cashmere sweaters from this store and they are amazing. The quality is top-notch and the clothes are honestly beautiful. The customer service was fast and professional, but one thing bothered me a bit - you have to pay for shipping and returns, which is kind of annoying and adds to the total cost. But if you're into unique, high-quality stuff, it's worth the extra bucks. And come on, supporting a business from Scotland is pretty cool, right? I've found some awesome pieces here and definitely suggest giving it a look.
Shoes not wide enough
Even though my order arrived quickly, I was bummed to see that the shoes I bought weren't wide enough for my feet. The quality was top-notch, but it was a bummer that I had to send them back because they just didn't fit right. It would really be great if they had more width options, like extra wide, to fit more people. And throwing in half sizes would make life easier for those of us who fall in between the standard sizes they have.
Tweed jacket purchase
I never would have thought it'd be so easy to find the perfect tweed jacket! I randomly found this site and thought, why not? Ordering was a piece of cake and the jacket got here super quick. And let me tell you, this jacket is the real deal. It fits like it was made for me and looks just as stylish and durable as they said. I can see it lasting a long time, definitely worth the money.

Black cashmere sweater
I just bought this really nice black cashmere sweater from this store, and let me tell you, I was pleasantly surprised! The price was way lower than the original one, which made it even more of a steal. The quality of the sweater was great, and it showed up at my house super fast. The delivery guy was really nice and even greeted me with a smile, which just made the whole thing even better.
Cornflower crew jumper
I got this really awesome cornflower crewneck online and it was super easy. The color looks just like the picture and it's super comfy and stylish. The price was great too. Just make sure to handwash it so we don't mess up this cute jumper!
Fast despatch, problematic delivery
I was happy with how quickly my order from The House of Bruar was sent out. But, I was let down when I found out Evri was handling the delivery. My package was with Evri for two days, and on top of that, it didn't get delivered until 8:40pm. That kind of service just doesn't fly with me. I've never had a good experience with Evri before, so it's a bummer that a place like The House of Bruar would go with a delivery service that disappoints customers. Hopefully, they'll rethink their choices and pick a more reliable and timely delivery service in the future.
