Two faulty smoke detectors
I just bought two smoke detectors from X-sense to replace my old ones that expired. Unfortunately, both of them ended up failing within six months of me buying them. They wouldn't pair up properly and when I actually tried testing them with real smoke, they didn't go off. It really made me doubt if they were even functioning as smoke detectors at all. I've had situations with smoke in my kitchen and fireplace, but these detectors stayed completely silent. If I had depended on them during a real emergency, it could've been really bad. When I contacted X-sense about it, their response was pretty surprising. They told me that the detectors shouldn't be tested with actual smoke, which basically defeats the whole purpose of having a smoke detector. Overall, my experience with X-sense smoke detectors has been pretty disappointing, and I definitely wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
CO2 detector never arrived
I ordered a CO2 detector online not long ago, but I never got it. The tracking info took me to a Chinese shipping site that I couldn't read in English. I tried contacting customer service a bunch of times through email and calls, but I haven't heard back. I'm really let down and annoyed by all of this, so I'd tell others to steer clear of this company for sure.
Carbon monoxide/smoke detector
I recently bought a CO/smoke detector and everything was fine at first. But then the battery died after only five months! I tried reaching out to the company, but they still haven't responded even though they promised they would. Kind of frustrating, you know?
Don't buy it!
This product is terrible! I wouldn't recommend wasting your money on it. If you have an issue, good luck trying to get ahold of someone because they never respond to emails. Honestly, you might as well throw your money away.
10 connectable smoke alarms
So, I bought 10 of these new smoke alarms to keep my student home safe. But man, they really disappointed me! After just a week, they started going off in the middle of the night for no reason at all. Imagine trying to sleep and suddenly being woken up by a screeching alarm! It happened to my roommates too and it was not cool. I even saw all of them going off on a Saturday morning when I was home alone, and let me tell you, it was a nightmare. I ended up taking them all down and testing them out, only to find that one of them was defective. But even then, they shouldn't be going off randomly like that. I ended up returning them and getting alarms that weren't connected. Super disappointed, man.
Faulty products and dishonest support
I bought something that didn't work right, and the customer service was awful. When I contacted them, they didn't tell the truth about the product and where it came from. They said they were American, but their support is in China, so it's hard to talk to them. Just be careful before you buy from them.
Smoke detectors
I bought some smoke detectors for my house three years ago. I liked that they had batteries that didn't need replacing for 10 years. But, they haven't worked out too well. The first one died after just a few days, and another just stopped working recently. When I called customer service, I was told the warranty was up and to talk to the manufacturer. The customer service was terrible, and I'm still waiting for a call back. I'd recommend going with a different brand of smoke detectors that have replaceable batteries.
International order, delayed delivery, unexpected import taxes
Don't fall for those fake promises of fast delivery on the website - my order didn't even leave China until after a whole week! Now I'm sitting here wondering when it'll finally show up, and stressing about the extra fees and taxes I'll have to pay. It's just not right how they're trying to pull a fast one on us customers with their sneaky tactics.
Smart smoke detectors
I just got these smart smoke detectors and thought they were pretty cool at first, but then three of them stopped working. I called customer service for help and they got back to me fast, but their advice didn't fix the problem. So, I did some experimenting and found out that if I press the test button for a second, it gets them working again. It's weird 'cause that trick wasn't in the manual.
Smoke detector with long-lasting battery
I bought a smoke detector because of all the good reviews, thinking it would last at least 10 years. Unfortunately, the battery died within a year, and I had to toss out the whole device, as the product instructions said. Even though there aren't any bad reviews, personally, I'm pretty disappointed that something advertised to last a decade crapped out so soon. A smoke detector is there to save lives during a fire, and I was counting on this product to be dependable. I don't usually write negative reviews, but I don't want to contribute to unnecessary waste by throwing away things so quickly. I'd rather just switch out the battery and avoid making more garbage.
Deceptive product delivery
This place is such a rip off! I totally thought I was ordering from a store in Europe, but it's actually all coming from China and they hit you with these outrageous customs fees. And on top of that, they charge your card in US dollars when you paid in Euros. Don't even bother with this place!
Detector never arrived
I bought this really cool detector, but it never arrived! It's been like 3 whole months now, and I've been trying to get in touch with them through emails, Facebook, and Instagram. They only respond like every other week. They keep saying they'll send me a new one, but I'm still waiting. It's a total mess, I wouldn't recommend buying anything from them!
Headphones
I thought this company was German at first. Their products are pretty good, but dealing with any issues can end up costing you a lot. They make you pay for return and storage fees, which is frustrating. On top of that, it's hard to find any contact information, and they don't even have a refund policy.
Difficulty with setup
I've never dealt with something as annoying as trying to get this equipment set up. I tried connecting it to two different routers, but nothing was working. The app kept asking for a QR code or serial number, but I couldn't find it anywhere on the base unit. Even after entering the wifi password multiple times, the unit couldn't connect to the router, even though my other devices had no issues. Don't bother with this low-quality equipment - it's not worth the headache!

Plus, the warranty they offer gives me peace of mind in case anything goes wrong. The customer support team was super helpful and always got back to me quickly when I had questions or needed help. Overall, I'm really happy with my purchase.
Return process difficulties
The products were good, the delivery was quick, and customer support responded fast but wasn't very helpful. The biggest problem was the super tough return process with a 30% deduction and strict rules. I recommend really thinking before you buy and only going for it if you're totally certain.

I love to party, but safety comes first! Handling BBQ machines can let out dangerous CO gas, so I decided to get a CO detector from this company. Now I feel so much safer, all thanks to X-sense and their fantastic customer service.
Smoke alarm
The user manual is so over the top. Seriously, there are like 20 different kinds of alerts, like 3 red flashes and then 2 green flashes in 5.8 seconds instead of 4 seconds! Can you believe that? I can just picture myself in a smoky room, trying to solve an issue while scrambling to find the right section in the manual with a timer going. It's like, who came up with this crazy system?
Faulty product experience
The product I got was messed up and didn't work right. I tried to contact customer service a bunch of times, but no one ever got back to me. And when I tried to send it back for my money back, they said no way. Even PayPal wouldn't help me out. All around, just a really bad experience from beginning to end.
